  1. Automate Initials for Signers for each Page on the document

    Automate Initials on every page.

    Sometimes there are 4-5 people that need to read/sign a document and each page requires initials of all parties.

    The process of placing an initial tag in the footer for each signer is tedious and repetitive. It's actually a very useless task.

    Automate placing initials on each page based on the list of signers.

    • Initials on each page Yes/No

    • User chooses Yes, it will place an initials tag for each signer at the bottom of the page in the Footer section or a designated area.

  2. Date

    After the new layout in Adobe Sign, the date format required has become too strict, only accepting dates in the format "14-Jun-2024." This can confuse new (and existing) users since there's no guidance on the expected format—just an error message indicating the format is wrong without further details. I'm experiencing this issue on Adobe Sign through a web browser.

    I use Adobe Sign with clients, so it is a recurring issue that I need to explain often.

  3. Acrobat Reader regularly hangs while I use "Fill in form fields" tool. Similar behavior I see with the application of my colleagues.

  4. I'd like to have the ability to set the "Initial View" when exporting pdfs from InDesign.

    When exporting pdf proofs from InDesign, Illustrator to send to customers, we typically set the initial view to "Pages Panel and Page". This requires an extra step after we've saved out the pdf and then have to set to view Pages and Pages Panel in Acrobat. Having the option to set the Initial View in the program it's being exported from would make the process more efficient.

  5. organizing pages by typing new page number as an option

    with multiple pdfs, each over 50 pages long, to drag and scroll to move the pages to their correct location is a huge hassle. Can you find a way where the pages can be organized by selecting a page or range of pages and reassigning the page/range location? please and thank you

  6. I need to go t previous version please. This new version has paralyzed me.

    How can I go the to previous version please?

    This new version is debilitating. I can not get my work done, as it is painfully slow. Unnecessary changes and bugs, in annotation,. Why is Acrobat trying to be Miro or some random mix of other apps, and can not do its main and original function anymore?

    Please give me a way to go back. This has paralized me and my work.

  7. Page move enhancement

    For large documents (e.g. 50 or 100 pages+), moving a page by drag and drop is a) laborious and b) inefficient. Instead, it be better to be prompted where to move it and, as a bonus, ask for "Before" or "After" for exactness. Other PDF products (e.g. Kofax Power PDF Advanced) offers these options.

    I was thinking of buying acrobat AI assistant these days. but I gave up when I saw that it has serious limitations like 25 MB and 120 pages. this is very strange. because the adobe brand as a PDF creator should not have such a small capacity.   10. Change sender's email

    Please add option to change sender's (my) email to make clients see different email, not that one I have on my Adobe account.
    If i have to send to sign documents for different projects, I want to have an option to have different sender's email, so do not confuse the clients and don't let them reply to my adobe account email.

  11. PC restart required after update, which is super annoying

    PC restart after software update is normally not required, except device drivers.
    This is pretty annoying, and adobe must at least describe the reason (e.g., adobe's technique level is very low)

  13. Alternatives to Adobe

    Given all of the complaints about the new updates, including the silly AI assistant, perhaps this would be a good place to discuss alternatives to Adobe Acrobat. I'm ready to start sending my money to another company. Does anyone have suggestions? I've used Drawboard, which is very good for doing markups but a bit too slow for general reading of PDFs. PDF Architect seems quite good. Any others?

  14. BUG: Color selector truncated under bookmark properties

    This is a bug. The color selector under book mark properties is truncated.

    1. Open multiple page pdf.
    2. Create a bookmark.
    3. Right click on the bookmark name to open the context menu and select properties.
    4. Click on the color to change it.

    Results: The color selector box is truncated on Windows 11, Acrobat v. 2024.002.20687 64-bit (Geez, why does the version disappear when I click outside of the app!) If you open the Edit tool and click on to change the color of a font the selector has more choices.

    Expected: All the colors please!

  15. In Organize Pages tool entering a page number closes tool

    1. Open a multi page pdf
    2. Open Organize pages tool (my files are over 50 pages)
    3. Set view that you can see several pages and the page control appears on the right side of the screen.
    4. Enter a page number into the page control and press the enter key.
    5. Press the enter key again.

    Results: Either nothing happens (first time clicking <enter>) or the Organize pages tool closes (second time clicking <enter>). This makes the page control useless within Organize pages. I have to larger documents I'm trying to sort out and this is making it **** difficult to do!

  17. Multiple files opening at once

    The latest version of Acrobat Reader is frustrating to the point where I no longer want to use it.

    I'm particularly frustrated that when opening a PDF file, Acrobat decides to automatically open all of the files that I had open last time I used it, meaning I have to wait to use the file that I actually wanted to use and select it from the list of opened files. Why can't I just open the file I want to use and have it ready to go?

  18. A merged PDF file, when emailed out, the recipient received only the first page

    Bug: I have a 30-page PDF file that, when emailed out, some recipients see a PDF file with only the first page (although the file size is correct).

    The final 30-page PDF was merged from 3 PDF files:
    1. File #1: 1 page, converted from Microsoft Word 365 using its native PDF exporter
    2. File #2: 2 pages, converted from Microsoft Word 365 using its native PDF exporter
    3. File #3: 27 pages, came from an external party who said it was converted from Microsoft PowerPoint 365

  19. Save related methods are not being invoked for Tools->export

    In the plugin code, I am trying to intercept/replace AVDocDoSave, AVDocDoSaveAs, PDDocSave etc functions to identify the original file when the user tries to export the file from Tools option, and I see that none of the above functions are being called in this flow. But this seems to work when we try export from Menu bar.

    This bug is to report the same. I have tried this in Adobe 24 version on mac OS Sonoma. But I think this is applicable to pervious versions as well

  20. Acrobat won't allow saving PDF after scanning

    After scanning pages of a paper document, I go to save the scan to a PDF file, but Acrobat pops up a blank dialog box that won't let me pick a folder or create a file name to save the document in a Windows folder. This has been happening since an upgrade about 2 weeks ago. HOWEVER, if I scan one page of a simple, letter-size B&W document, it does allow saving the document, after which I can scan and save any number of additional pages.
