  3. When attempting to export a pdf to a jpg, png, or tiff an error stating that the image is too wide to output occurs. This only happens with some files, but not all.

We were able to convert the pdf using your online tool.

  4. Steps to reproduce:
    1. First I will make a PDF doc from a word doc.
    2. So I now have a PDF file and I will sign it digitally using a digital certificate starting from the Certificates button from the right tool bar.
    3. After the PDF document is signed I will push the Adobe Sign/Request Signatures button and instead of opening the screen where to input the e-mail address of the person I ask the signature from it displays the message in the attached picture.

If I use the web version of Adobe DC for the same document digitally…

  5. Even in the latest public beta of MacOS 11, overall performance of Acrobat is sluggish. The app may take over a second to respond to a page scroll request via track pad and scrolling will be choppy.

    Hi,

Sorry for the issue that you are facing here.

We tried this at our end but couldn’t get a reproducible case.

Could you please share your BigSur Beta10 Machine configuration/System Information?

Also could you please share a Screen recording video of the sluggish behavior that you observe?

    Thanks
    Ayush Jain

  6. When saving a signed document, please adjust the integration and/or save dialogue so that the folder that opens in the save dialogue is the one from whence the source document was opened.

Many of my users will find just as useful (if not more) than a simple default archive e-mail to folder (as is currently the only solution I can find)

    Thank you,

  7. Dear Adobe:

Please redesign the icon graphic for the "insert page" button in Acrobat. Right now, the icon looks too similar to the "extract page" icon, and does not seem to match the action that it causes. This is confusing and makes the software less intuitive.

The "insert page" icon shows an arrow that originates in the center of a single page and points outside of that page. This suggests that something is being taken OUT of the page/document, when in fact the "insert" action is exactly the opposite. In other words, the arrow should originate from outside of the…

  9. When using fill and sign in big PDF files the save feature almost doesn't work. The only way to save without freezing Acrobat is to exit fill and sign and then save.

    Hi,

Thanks for reporting the issue. Do you encounter this issue with every PDF file or only certain type of large sized file.

Can you try editing the file and then save it and check if it freezes. Also it will be great if you can share a sample file with us.

    Regards,
    Sandeep

A few years ago you could make in Indesign a page flip. Now you can do several things in Acraobat DC but no more page flips for webpages.

  12. The ff ligature does not render in semibold Adobe Garamond Pro. It produces what looks like a little capital 'I'. Bold works, but not semibold. I'm using Adobe Acrobat 2017.

  13. When using the 'Add text' tool, DC seems to bind together multiple lines of text. This would be ok if you could break the bind to change the layout. I can't seem to do this and end up deleting and doing the work again....hardly efficient??

    Thank you.

  15. For years (as long as Acrobat DC), across multiple machines, versions of windows 10 and versions of CC I keep gettting font errors when printing from various sources (specifically, browsers and MSWord)

This happens whenever I print to Adobe PDF (every time)

    Adobe CC 2020, Acrobat 2020.006.20042

  16. https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/troubleshoot-acrobat-pdfmaker-problems-office.html#AcrobatRibbonisnotavailabeinOffice2016orOffice365applicationsonWindows

Instructions from this have been followed, along with instructions from Microsoft to verify the add-in is correctly set in the registry. In both occasions, with Adobe Acrobat Pro version 20.012.20041, the Adobe/Acrobat ribbon is not showing in Excel/Word 2016 or in Word/Excel O365.

Support agent requested submitting a bug report.

I've installed the application via mst, without Creative Cloud for enterprise purposes (mst attached), and even on a fresh build of Windows 10, the ribbon doesn't show up.

  19. Simplify your electronic signature solution to work like Docu-Sign. I'm forced to download a 300MB file and provided with trial periods and other product features. I just want to sign a document that's been sent to me and not spend the next 10 mins trying to figure out how to navigate your site.

  20. The page operations in general have been a mess for years. Why create a special tool to 'organize pages' when the functions could easily be added to the left page thumbnail views in a more intuitive way.

I have seen over two dozen people try to modify pages unsuccessfully the exact same ways using the page thumbnails section. This means there are at least a few and likely more intuitive designs that can be implemented. A bit of user research can help improve the UI dramatically. Apparently, little to none was done.

Establishing editing functions around standard UI interactions and…
