  1. When a signatory is asked to sign via AdobeSign, I have found that they often exit the program without actually signing the document (we often need signatures from people who can be a bit technophobic!)

    I think there are three tweaks that would help prevent this:

    1) that the flags would stay in the document until the are acted upon (at present, they seem to disappear within a few seconds)

    2) that if a signatory tries to exit the program, a pop-up message could say, do you wish to really exit with signing? the signatory could confirm yes or no

  3. When you open multiple PDFs, they're shown as tabs in the same Acrobat window. If you would then switch to tiled view (Shift+Ctrl+l) they become split into separate windows. That's odd.

    Bug: Ctrl+Shift+l is supposed to place them side by side, in a row, but they're tiled on the screen, so that 4 PDFs are distributed in 2x2.

    Feature request: do not split the tiled view into separate windows. Do the same as in Indesign. 2 up vertical etc., all in one window. Why? If you want to have them back into one window again there is no action for…

  4. I updated a workflow to shorten the list of signers. All of the existing workflows that were in progress broke due to this change - signers were not able to open and the workflows could not be completed. Our users had to cancel all workflows and start over again. The workflow designer should have a note to caution against changing the list of recipients for existing workflows. Or "in progress workflows" should follow the recipient list at the time the workflow was kicked off. Any new workflows will follow the new recipient list. This feature needs to be redesigned as…

  5. When I want to change text on an existing template I currently have to upload a new template and start from scratch to add fields, etc. It would be very helpful to be able to edit existing text on the template, similar to Adobe Acrobat.

  6. Form fields should have character limits. When a user types characters into a field, Adobe Sign allows unlimited characters. When the document is saved and sent for further signatures, the text is truncated and not visible to the next signer. If you place a character limit on the fields this would alleviate the problem.

  7. In Print Production > Set Page Boxes dialog, the position of the selection boxes for input of margin values are not very intuitive. When setting the bottom margin, I tend to go to the last box, which as it is, is for the right margin. I propose a much more intuitive positioning of the input boxes. The current dialog box and the new, proposed one are in the uploaded images.

    Note the intuitive positions of the input boxes, Top, Left, Right, Bottom, which correspond to the actual positions on the page. Small details like this expedite work because they avoid…

  8. Allow MDM for macOS to control the files /Library/Preferences/com.adobe.Acrobat.Pro.plist and /Users/{username}/Library/Preferences/com.adobe.Acrobat.Pro.plist

    We use Kandji to control various Mobile Device Management settings for our client desktop and laptop Macintosh computers. One thing that MDM is supposed to be able to do is control settings in various plist files on macOS. If a special plist needs to be controlled we can create a custom Profile to do so.     There was a RAISE without a handler. The application will now exit.

    It is repeatable. (If you scroll without checking the boxes there is a scroll discontinuity but no crash.)

  11. When an E-Sign Template is sent for signing, the signing party is unable to click the hyperlinks in the agreement before signing. These links include items such as the Privacy Policy etc.

    The links are only clickable AFTER the party has signed, which really makes no sense.

  12. Default column width when browsing directory files are too narrow. Width must be adjusted wider every time I pull up the file directory. A wider default should be able to be set under Preferences.

  14. This feature request proposes the addition of a keyboard shortcut in Acrobat to promote/demote bookmark levels. Currently, demoting a bookmark can be done easily by dragging it to a lower level, but promoting it requires a two-step process. With this new shortcut, users could efficiently reorganize their bookmarks by quickly moving them up or down the hierarchy. This feature would be particularly useful when dealing with scanned files that lack structure information, but require a hierarchical set of bookmarks for easy navigation.

    In the case of custom prints, 3 horizontally and 1 vertically.
    So that the left side of the paper has custom printed content 1 by 3 and the right side of the paper has space for writing after printing 1/3 of the printable paper width.

  16. I'm trying to report a bug in that Adobe will not type the letter f while editing a document. When I fill in the problem the option is to post it to this forum, which is NOT what I want to do. But, while I am here, does anyone know how to fix this?

  18. The state of Texas now requires students to be assessed using multi-select. I am an instructional coach and work with the teachers. I use Adobe for almost everything. I can create a multi-select dropdown in Excel, but not in Acrobat. It would benefit hundreds of school districts and millions of kids for Adobe to create a multi-select dropdown list option in the fillable PDF. Thank you.
