  2. Compatibility issue with Adobe Acrobat Pro DC - font is moving location while changing color of font created by multiple PDF conversion applications. This was not an issue with Adobe X but is now an issue with Adobe Pro DC.

  4. Or rather, it populates the checkboxes correctly as far as the PDF side goes: it sets the /V and /AS of the checkbox objects in /Fields correctly, but it doesn't set the XFA side accordingly, whereas it does for text fields. In the Acrobat window the checkboxes show as correctly marked until I close the file. When I reopen the file with Acrobat or Reader, it gets its display information from the XFA, not from the /Fields (and that may be the real bug here), and so doesn't show the checkboxes as marked.

  6. I had a perfectly functional version of Acrobat. The Acrobat DC trial was suggested, so I tried it. But it deleted my old version and I am unable to roll back, and the disks are in storage on the other side of the world, so I now have no versions of Acrobat. This is a poor way to encourage users to purchase new product, which in my case did not work.

  7. This would eliminate the need for attaching within an email and allow for completion of form and submission on the end user regardless of whether or not they have the PRO version of Adobe.

  8. Please dont leave a window open when I close a document. Its a huge hassle to have to close both windows. Also please go back to the prior command access. I am completely lost at figuring out where command icons are and the new system is by no means easier.

  10. We have a business need to completely secure our invoice PDFs when the file is created. We are able to set a password when generating the PDF through a third party application which prevents editing via the Tools, but it doesn't get applied to File > Properties > Security > Change Settings. It allows you to go into Change Settings without the password, cancel out, after which the PDF can be edited. Is there a way to apply security during document creation to prevent Change Settings access as well?

    Hi,

Apologies for the issue that you are facing here .

    1) Could you please tell me the exact version number of Adobe Acrobat that you are working on ?
    2) Please update to the latest version of Adobe Acrobat using Help → Check for updates.
    3) Is this consistent for you on every Acrobat session ?
    4) Could you please confirm me your windows Os version number and the screen scaling value that you are working with ?

    Thanks
    Ayush Jain

  13. When I finished creating PDF using my HP Printer/Scanner for my tax support documents, the file was too large to send through my email. Because this is tax info I did not want to send it out on DropBox or other clouds. If you had a feature that could reduce the DPI and therefore, the file size, that would be handy.
Of course, I could start over and rescan everything in lower DPI, but that is time consuming. An EDIT TO REDUCE FILE SIZE OFalready created PDF file would be a time saver, especially when you don't realize the size…

  14. I am a Lecturer and I regularly mark scripts. It would be great of we could assess (mark) online on a pdf. There is not many online assessment tools out there. Learning is fast moving to the online space and being able to mark a pdf document will be excellent. I attached a file explaining detail of how it should work

  16. Could not find this bug,

    To reproduce:

1 Enter Read Mode in any document (had it on numerous .pdfs)

2 Exit Read Mode, and try to search or find the scroll bar

3 Search bar trapped halfway into document/under UI, scroll bar gone (another though less annoying consequence is the lack of automatic reformatting of the page when opening the left navigation tab e.g. bookmarks)

4 Note: search function and scroll bar are present and functional when going back into Read Mode

The problem arises when trying to use these functions after EXITING Read Mode.

    Environment:
    -Lenovo Yoga 720 (13")…

  17. Nowadays there are many of us who make 3D models. In many cases they are very heavy models that are currently unfeasible to insert in a PDF. However, there are visualization tools that allow to lighten the geometry of the object without losing quality in the visualization. This is done by loading textures such as normal, roughness, etc. that currently cannot be loaded into the PDF. If they could be implemented, in my opinion it would give a good boost to the use of PDF, both for publications and for sending files. It would be very interesting to implement them…

  18. Adding Signatories to a document can be challenging - if following the instructions in Adobe Sign, at no point does it mention that you need to go to Advanced Settings in order to create a signature block. The simple instructions simply advise the user to add the recipients to the correct areas of the document, then click "send". Doing this results in an error message:
"There are recipients who need to sign this document that do not have a signature field assigned to them. You can go back and add signature fields or we will add a signature block for…

  19. When creating multiple PDF's, if I choose to place them in the source folder, everything works fine, and all files are being converted into PDF, remaining the source structure. But I end up with a folder structure with mixed files (Word and PDF) next to each other. I do want a different output folder, but preserving my source folder structure. This way I get a new output structure, with only PDF-files in the structure. This option is currently not possible. When selecting a different output folder, all files are created directly into that new main folder. I would like to…

  20. The recent update to Adobe Acrobat DC (20.006.200042) has removed the action button from the Prepare Form menu.

I am unable to add buttons to form like "print" or "email". When opening older forms, the print still works, but it is unedible the action you can do. The email button goes off to an unknown link.

In addition, the DC help still list the old way to add and edit these action buttons without listing a new method to create or edit these buttons
