Crashing
Crashes frequently, particularly sensitive when more than 7 files open. Frequency of crashing increases to the point where it is unusable.
Need to quickly resolve compatibility issues with Catalina, perhaps error reporting from the software would help.

Acrobat runs to slow
I Just upgraded my CC account and now Acrobat runs to slow. When I use my Action Wizards scripts to use on 356 pdfs it would take about 5 minutes. NOW it takes 4.5 hours. Fix the problem now

Drawing Signature Form Box
I need a simple box that can be added into a form which activates the drawing tool to enter a manual signature. If someone is filling out a form, they won't know at the signature point they have to jump to the tool menu and select the pen. For a user they are in the form, keep them in the form. Just a simple setting on a signature box to switch it to pen rather then Digital ID would be great.

filter failed error message when printing to HP Laserjet P1102w
Recently when I try to print PDFs to my HP LaserJet P1102w, from a mac running Catalina 10.15.5, the documents don't print and there is an error "filter failed." This does not happen when I try to print Word documents. I am connected to the printer via a USB cable. I am able to print to other HP printers in the house. I have tried removing and reinstalling the printer driver, but this does not fix the problem and I still get an error "filter failed."
Because this only happens when trying to print PDFs, I think this may be an Adobe bug, something that might have come in with some sort of Adobe update.

Save guides in Acrobat Pro
Hello Adobe/Acrobat Team,
Please add an option to save guides when saving PDFs. Having to reset guides each time I open a document is frustrating.

Signed up for the free trail because I wanted to edit a document
Error message: “The XFA form cannot be edited using Adobe Acrobat.”
So I followed the troubleshooting instructions and tried to save the form as Encapsulated PostScript file.
Error message: “An error exists on this page. Acrobat may not display the page correctly. Please contact the person who created the PDF document to correct the problem.”
I thought I was the person who created the document. Not sure what I should do.1 vote -

Checkbox to flatten files before combining
I used acrobat to create a fillable pdf. Now, when I receive them back, I want to be able to combine them into 1 pdf. When I do that, it overwrites all the fields with the info from the first file. Incredibly not helpful. If there was a box that I could check that would tell the program to flatten the files before they were combined, that would be helpful.

Avenir Next Font does not display correctly - only in Acrobat Pro
When viewing a PDF that has the Avenir Next font type used in the body of text, the letters will not display properly when a bold or heavy style is applied to that font. Some letters are raised higher than they should be in comparison to other letters of the same upper or lower case status. See attached images. I've included the same exact font, string of text, and same exact file used, but one is displayed in adobe acrobat pro and the other is displayed on the web.

Initials Feature Disappeared
Until recently you could prepare a form and ask for initials in Acrobat Pro DC. This needs to be reinstated to the application or added to Adobe sign. I use forms regularly that require fields to be initialed and now I cannot request verifiable initials through either method.

Zoom to Page Level (fit to 1 page) is consistently slightly too large
This should enable page down to show each page exactly on the screen, but is consistently too large, eg 71% needs to be changed to 70% to display correctly on page down. I have found this on old and new versions and various screens.

Better labeling of Action Wizard Controls for screen reader users
I am encountering problems with poorly labeled controls in the Acrobat DC Action Wizard. As a blind screen reader user, I would greatly appreciate anything you can do to improve the control labels that are spoken by screen readers. I am using the JAWS 2020 screen reader with Acrobat DC version 20.006.20042.
The issues I have encountered:Some of the button control labels are unclear and it is difficult to determine which control has focus. For example, when adding a Watermark, the button to add the watermark is spoken as “Add”. If I press “space” to select this option, another button appears, spoken as” Add”. I must tab to this second “Add” button and press enter to set watermark options.
I do not see a clear way to determine which control has focus when rearranging the sequence of actions. None of the buttons say “Selected” to let the user know which option is highlighted and will be modified by the “Move Up”, “Move Down”, or “Remove” from sequence buttons.
If using the NVDA or Windows Narrator screen reader, none of the options in the Action Wizard seem to read. These options due seem to be spoken in JAWS.
When trying to run an action, focus is automatically placed on the “Select a File” button. When I attempt to tab from the “Select a File” button to the “Start” Button, to launch my action, Acrobat DC crashes and completely closes. The only work around I have found is to not use keyboard navigation and instead use the mouse emulation options in JAWS to find and activate the start action button.
I don’t know if I have explained these issues clearly enough for you to reproduce. I need to use Acrobat DC in my work and would greatly appreciate if these issues could be resolved. Any assistance you can provide is greatly appreciated.

I checked the issues after your response.For point 2, the behaviour is as designed. It seems that the user have to select the option as the default selected item is the last added item in RHP and if no addition is done, then none of the option is selected. Further, I’m not able to hear “AV container View” with controls. I’ve informed the engineering team regarding this.
For point 3, I have raised the issues with engineering team and hopefully it will be fixed in future release.
