  1. In the Home tab there should be the following main tools listed:
    - Open (Document)
    - Create PDF
    - Combine files

Those are what we use the most.

My Home is showing Organize Pages, Fill & Sign, and Protect.I don't use those.

Or, you can add the tools bar to the Home so I don't have to switch to the tools tab.

  3. My Acrobat Pro DC opens automatically when I boot my Mac.
Each time I have to close the annoying start-up screen where the last documents are displayed. I don’t need it! Please provide an option again to disable this feature as it where in past versions of Acrobat. Thank you.

  4. After selecting text a highlighter/comment bar appears above the selection. this is awesome

Please add a function to highlight in yellow or red as these are the two most used colors. Adding a custom color option would be helpful.

Currently, switching the color is very cumbersome and interferes with focus on the document being reviewed.

  5. Please add a setting to preferences to hide page controls by default on each new PDF.

I don't want page controls docked to the top of the screen because I never use them, so when I choose "Hide Page Controls" I would like it if they stayed hidden. Yet, every time I open a new PDF, there they are again. I have to choose "hide page controls" on every new document. They hide content on the PDF by constantly getting in the way. You either have to drag it around or choose the setting I mentioned earlier to see the…

  6. I miss the feature that the Acrobat program window automatically minimized after closing the last opened PDF document. At the moment the Acrobat program window always stays open and hides the desktop.
I know of various keyboard shortcuts like WIN + Space + N or WIN + M, but the Acrobat program window should automatically minimize itself without additional action if the last opened PDF file was closed.
A setting in the Acrobat preferences for this behavior would also be conceivable and desirable.

  7. When routing multiple documents in the share/review feature with multiple people it is somewhat difficult to track the status of all documents that you originated or are reviewing. A single queue to list all documents originated or being reviewed by you that would allow you to designate status: routing, final approval (whatever designation needed). Have the queue shift things to the appropriate status when they are approved. Might even be able to change status in the queue. They can still be available if needed but would not be in the routing/proofing portion of the queue any longer. It would also…

  8. I am unable to "save as" since the most recent update. I use Windows 10 Pro. My expected result is that I can "save as" rather than the white screen I get when I try to "save as"

  9. It is nearly impossible to find some tools in the Tool groups, as they are frequently grouped in a way that is not intuitive. Searching for a tool such as "Zoom" would greatly enhance the customization of my Acrobat product for the things I frequently need.

  10. I was just "upgraded" to the new Adobe version. Please restore the Open file button. Dumbest idea ever to remove it and create extra clicks in order to open a file.

  11. I like the quick-access to the Tools in Acrobat, but please allow us to select WHICH 4 tools we see. The defaults are Create PDF, Export PDF, Fill&Sign, and Protect, but in my workflow, I almost never use these tools. I use Edit PDF, Combine Files, Organize Pages, and Prepare Form daily, and would very much like to have these on my front page.
Also, I have the Mobile app already. How do I get rid of the ad asking me to download it?

  14. preferences window is old and rusty. the fun part is when I select a category from left the window resizes and sometimes I have to move it to see the hidden settings out of the screen portion. it reminds me of the old apps in late 90s! you have to update it to open in a tab like internet browsers and be searchable.

  15. Steps to reproduce the issue:

    1. Open Acrobat DC
    2. Click the Comments pane button

Environment: MacOS 10.14.6; other Adobe apps active are Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop and Bridge

Expected result: The Comments pane should immediately appear.

Observed result: What I get instead is a spinning beach ball for way too long. THIS IS THE CASE EVEN WHEN THERE ARE NO COMMENTS!

  16. The Translation of the newly introduced function "open last session" in the actual (2019.012.20035.4663) German GUI is "PDFs auf letzter Sitzung öffnen" the better Translation would be "PDFs aus letzter Sitzung öffnen".
    You see the typo ?

  17. Presets for settings, and a customized page would be very helpful. Let users be able to have their preferences to adobe start up every time they open adobe. I know that it remembers, while the app is on. But every day I have to click combine open files, list view, and printer options.
