  1. There seems to be a bug with unknown characters in the Read Order tab. Issue with Hindi described here, but I've seen it on other languages (Khmer).

The read order tab has multiple unknown characters for each text block. The main text appears fine visually, but screen readers have the same issues and cannot read the same certain characters (NVDA speech viewer screenshot included).

What's the issue here? Are there any answers or workarounds?

This is from an Word export (NVDA reads all characters perfectly fine in Word), and I'm on the latest Acrobat Pro DC (though the same issue…

  2. As of right now, if I want to change the "default" setting for "Signing Order" to "Recipients will sign in any order", but a user on our account would like to have that setting default to "Recipients will sign in the order they are entered" for themselves (at the user level), this is currently not possible as confirmed by Adobe Support a few minutes ago. It would be helpful for users to be able to change some of their own default settings rather than only having account-wide default settings for every single user. This is also true for setting a…

  4. I am on Windows 10 64-bit, on a Dell XPS 15 9500 with a 4K screen.

Here is the link to the video where I compare text box resizing between Microsoft Word 365 and Acrobat DC Pro v22.002.20212
    https://felixwong.photos/s/iLLYsgeRZeZRMYN

On any other word processor app, resizing a text box is intuitive and fast. While on DC Pro, the cursor switches between "Move" and "Rotate" more often than land on "Resize". Some times I need to zoom in to 150% or 200% just to be able to nail the "resize" tool.
As you can see in the attached photo, my cursor…

  6. show tip for keyboard-shortcut (alt+enter)

I don't want to know how many people give up the struggle of commenting in adobe acrobat reader... because of the counter-intuitive "sending" (entering) a comment... forced by clicking a button with the mouse.

apparently you can "enter" with [alt + enter]

please show a popup-tip for this key-combo when hovering over the [send-button]

  7. using Adobe Acrobat Pro DC, I save pdf documents from emails to folders on my C Drive. I have to always browse to find the right folder as I do not want to store in my windows Downloads folder. Ideally there would be a setting to default the Save As to the same folder as the last saved pdf. This is because when saving many pdf documents they often will go into the same folder as the last pdf saved. At least this way around 50% of times, the folder will be the correct one. If people always use the…

  8. VCF to CSV Converter removes contact data from VCF files and exports it to a CSV file. You can prevent this pass additional easily and the list can be used for various causes.

Each vCard in a VCF file is stored on another row and collects information about your contacts. Exporting and importing contacts from Microsoft Outlook can be accomplished with the use of these files.

Most of these files are utilized to ship and import contacts. They mainly store names and phone numbers. Use a converter if you want to export the VCF file’s ranges to an Excel list…

  9. My organization has to produce administrative records for court filings, and has to Bates number the documents. Many of them are digitally signed, and we have to break the digital signature (by printing to MS XPS and back to PDF) to be able to Bates number them. Considering that Bates numbering simply adds numbers to the pages but doesn't otherwise compromise the digital signature, please consider developing a way to add Bates numbers to be applied to digitally signed documents.

  10. I could not possibly hate what you are doing to Acrobat more than i do. It is like you let children that have never done professional work design your interface. It is terrible and comical in a tragic way. You took a great program and made it a JOKE. ******** for allowing this to happen. This forum is a perfect example of how you have completely abandoned your responsibility to be accountable. This is a useless place for comments.

  11. Always use a professional PDF merge tool for a risk-free and efficient PDF merge process. It is the most reliable and advanced solution to merge multiple PDF files into bulk. Users can easily and quickly perform the bulk operation with an option to save the attachments separately. PDF merge tool maintains high data security and integrity throughout the process. Users are also allowed to merge encrypted PDF files without any data alteration. Moreover, they can provide the custom folder name with the location of the resultant file.

  14. In the past, I have been able to select multiple PDF files from a Windows File Explorer, right-click, and "Combine files in Acrobat DC..." However, lately it no longer works. The Acrobat DC program will open to the home tab, but then I have to go back to the explorer and redo the process, then it will work. So, it appears the program needs to be open before the combine PDFs option works. Is there a way to fix this, so it will open the program and go to the combine files tool immediately, other than repeating the process twice?

  15. Please fix the search function in Acrobat Pro. I rely on this so heavily for my work and it has become unreliable and confusing to use. For example, I searched for the word "Ad-hoc" today and Acrobat reported finding no results. I was looking at the word on my page at that very moment.

Oh, and when I then searched for the word "occurred" Adobe finally highlighted the word "Ad-hoc" for me. Infuriating!

Please fix this. There has to be a way to permanently set the search function to return only the actual word I am searching for, not random…

  16. Everyone wants a keyboard shortcut, and I am no different, would love there to be a way to import comments from another PDF into Acrobat using a keyboard shortcut, vs. the current way of clicking the little dot menu. We do this all day long every day at the agency where I work.

  17. Much like another feature being requested, I would like to see a breakdown in the Admin console of not just licenses allocated or used, but also when they were last used.

For example, do I have a user that just opens/reads PDF's all day and doesn't need Standard DC, or do I have a user that isn't using all the features of Pro and could be downgraded to Standard?

We have close to 3,000 users of Adobe products, it is going to be a tedious pain in my rump if I have to automate the removal of ALL the installed…

  18. Adding a Blank Page should be easier.
As such a simple, mundane, yet often important thing to accomplish, one would expect it to be a simple right-click away on the Thumbnails Navigation Pane.
However, it is found in Organize Pages. Organizing does not suggest creating or adding.
Adding a page is a form of Editing and the ability to Add a Blank Page is not found in Edit PDF.
Adding a Page should be simpler and not limited to one "tool".

  19. Using Adobe Acrobat to read, highlight, comment, etc. texts for school. However, there are times when I move the original PDF after having prepared it for use in an assignment. This unlinks the PDF from Acrobat, and all of my work is lost with no option to re-link the original file and salvage the work. Infuriating doesn't begin to describe the affect.
I have mentioned this to other students at Columbia, and those who have used Acrobat have all responded that it is a major reason they simply don't use Acrobat unless they have to.

    I am a Lightroom user…

  20. Man. This sucks. Somehow I got 5 PDFs open in one Acrobat window. They are all lined up as tabs. That's cool.
Now I want to "SAVE AS" ... there's no file menu available anywhere. All I can see is "CONVERT, SIGN, MORE" at the top bar.

Hitting the HOME icon takes me to an indecipherable mish-mash of options to add comments, open recent documents (which duh are already open) or look at "Starred" files. (huh?) Oh, and the side menu now has a bunch of "cloud storage" options (which are useless... I just want to save the open file…
