    We are looking for enhanced capacity for OCR and document cleanup. We would like adobe to remove smudges and/or recognize characters that are not identifiable by OCR.

    You can manually convert EML file to PDF on Mac, open the mail in a mail reader like Thunderbird or Outlook go to the Print (Ctrl+P) option, and select "Save as PDF." Alternatively, just drag the EML file into a browser (like Chrome) and print it as PDF.

  4. increase the visibility of the reading interface!

    I hate the newest version of the PDF Reader since it has been updated because the visibility of valid information on the screen is reduced. I often need to open PDF and excel comparison data at the same time, but the effective area of the PDF reading interface is reduced (the white space on both sides is increased, and the toolbar cannot be locked on the top!)

  6. Many Acrobat entries in the Windows taskbar for the single PDF-file

    Bug.
    Windows 11. Acrobat version etc. are represented on the screenshot.
    Steps to reproduce: a few pdf was opened and all except one has been closed.
    Result: there are many Acrobat app entries in the Windows taskbar instead of only one (for the last still opened pdf). See screenshot.

  7. Why in GOD'S forsaken name of inefficiency does CTRL+F searching default the ENTER (focus) button on an AI feature !?

    People. Please. The selection focus after opening CTRL+F should be to SEARCH not to have an AI explain the document to me. Come on.....

  9. Floating toolbar

    Access to our most used actions in a toolbar is excellent, but the floating toolbar is so annoying because it is on top of the content of the opened document. It would be better if we could customise where the toolbar should be and have the ability to dock it without it so it is not on top of the content.
    Older versions of Adobe Acrobat Pro allowed it to be on the top horizontally, which used to work perfectly for me. Please let users decide how best to interact with Adobe Acrobat Pro.

  10. Tags panel and reading order panel don't match

    If I change the order in the tags panel, this updated order isn't reflected in the reading order panel.

    When I test with a screen reader, the screen reader reads the order that is in the tags panel.

    Ideally, they would show the same order. That way, it's easier to fix in the reading order panel.

    Duplicate:
    1. Get reading order panel and tags panel to match order
    2. Change one thing in the tags panel
    3. Open order panel - the order here didn't change
    4. Open a screen reader and it does the order from the tags panel

  11. Signatures load too slow upon opening PDF (20 signature pages)

    When opening a large pdf, 130 pages or 4 MB, and it has 20 pages worth of signatures, the pdf takes a long time to open, not because of the size of the file, but because of the signatures. Not sure how it processes them, but the delay is significant. Is there a way to load all the signatures quicker ?

  12. Rotate/Delete Page Menu Always Cut Off

    Every time upon opening a PDF which has landscape pages, the menu (rotate/delete pages menu) which appears for each page thumbnail on the "Pages" sidebar is always cut off for those landscape pages (see attached image). Every time, I have to manually zoom out on the thumbnails in order to bring that menu into view such that it is not cut off, or I have to click "Reduce Page Thumbnails" on the ellipses menu. The page thumbnails should always be zoomed out enough such that this menu is not cut off, or the thumbnails should be in "reduced" size by…

  13. Rotate/Delete Page Menu is Cut Off

    Every time upon opening a document which has landscape pages, the menu that appears for each page thumbail in the "Pages" tab is always cut off for the landscape pages (see attached image). I always, each time, have to either manually zoom on the page thumbnail or click "Reduce Page Thumbnails" on the ellipses menu of the Pages tab. By default, these thumbnails should be zoomed such that this menu is never cut off, or the thumbnails should be in reduced size all the time (or it should be a saveable preference).

  14. Why can't I customize the paper size to print in Acrobat?

    In Acrobat Pro (desktop app on Windows 11 Pro), what happened to the option to customize paper size from the print settings? I just wasted over an hour with the worst Adobe tech support guy who uninstalled my app, reinstalled it, tried a preflight setting, then told me to call Canon and have them change their printer settings and disconnected our chat! Is creating a custom size of paper to print no longer an option?

  20. HIDE BOOKMARKS PANE PERMANENTLY!

    Please make an option in the preferences to be able to hide the Bookmarks pane permanently for all files that open in Adobe. It is not user friendly for that pane to open and having to close it for every single document I open. When I Googled a fix for this issue I've seen MANY complaints about this issue, some going back to 2022! This feature of the pane opening every single time when not needed, honestly makes me hate having to use Adobe.

    Please fix this ASAP!!! Thank you!!
