update not recognized by Cloud
My Creative Cloud Desktop shows that Acrobat is "Up to date", but when I double click a PDF file, "Installing update..." appears.
"Please wait a few minutes while the update is installed..." is NOT what I want to do. I want to open the PDF file to view.
Why does the Desktop Cloud app not recognize the update is available, and prompt me to install ?Acrobat 2023.003.20244

Bug: restrictions on resizing the window.
With the new Acrobat DC I can't resize the window to the size I need. It doesn't let me make the window less than a half in length. There are also restrictions in changing the width of the window.
For me it's important, so I returned to the old Acrobat.

Bug Report - unable to add password protection to my pdf files. Everytime I add a password and hit apply, the file is automatically renamed to a random series of letters and numbers, and I get a message box that says "Unable to save this file; cannot save to this file name."

Autocorrect within comments
Having a correct as you type feature would be incredibly useful. With the option to add your own words. This is a feature present across other Adobe programs and will be beneficial in Acrobat comments too.

Idea
We would like to request Adobe Sign product development consider enhancing the editing capabilities of both the “Request e-signatures” workflow as well as the “Publish/Create a web form” workflow. These flows both use a similar/identical initial screen which identifies the recipients or participants in the flow as well as “counter signers” and “CC” participants.
It would be ideal if almost any field on this initial screen could be modified later after it had been initially entered. We find that very often after we have moved on to the “preview & add signature fields” screen(s) we discover something that needs to be changed. Scenarios include:
• Need to rearrange signing order.
• Made a typo on an email address for a recipient
• Need to modify a CC or Counter Signer address for a “hard coded” recipient in the flow due to a change in staffing/personnel.In the current environment you must start all over from scratch. In the case of a web form it is worse because not only do you have to start over wasting a lot of work, but it results in a new web URL (which means more work and change). If we have a person who Is cc’d on a flow leave, then the web form must be completely replaced. Templates help but it still is a big waste of time.

Adobe using different file name than file opened
Everytime I open a pdf that I've saved from Word as a pdf; Adobe shows the name of that file as "September 30, 2010" regardless that the file has a different name. This has become especially disruptive in dealing with Signatures, because it looks like I keep sending out the same file name, and I have to rename it when it's completed.
And when submitting this.. Adobe won't recognize my registered name and password that I've been able to log into adobe with on the next tab.

Why did Adobe take away Adobe Cloud access to paying customers
Why did your programmers decide that the Adobe Creative Cloud is no longer accessible to Adobe Acrobat Pro paying customers? First, you raise the price, then you update the program and took away the title bar—horrible new design. Now, you are taking away access to the Adobe Creative Cloud. Please respect all of your paying customers by keeping our access to the Adobe Creative Cloud possible. We are paying more money for less accessibility to Adobe products. Thank you.

Does nobody moderate this forum for spam?
Endless nonsense issues about some "cash app", registering Google Drive, Verizon password… Even tried flagging them but they're still there over 24 hours later; clearly no-one even at Adobe gives a rat's a-hole about this place.
What a great environment.

Back to the old surface

Digitally Sign Keyboard Shortcut
Please add a keyboard shortcut to digitally sign a document. Every day I have dozens of documents I need to apply a digital signature. I have to click Certificates then the Digitally Sign button. With a keyboard shortcut I could incorporate it into a Dragon Script, and then I think it would also be available to use in the Action Wizard.

Sharing Files with comments is seriously bad
This is not an idea, it is feedback, but if you want it in the form of an idea, how about making sure that your sharing/collaboration functionality works. I shared with 3 people, went on to make comments and add pages to the document and when I closed out, all the new information was gone. The first time I clicked on save, I was required to give it a different name and then it didn't bring over the shared people.
Also, while working on making things work, I spent 10 minutes trying to get to a place where I could give feedback. It is odd that you go out of your way to ask if people want to give feedback and then you make it extremely difficult to do so.
Seriously Adobe, this is beneath you.

Bug - Unable to view/adjust fields in a PDF while in Prepare a Form mode after closing the panel
I cannot get rid of the panel and continue preparing a form after clicking the X to close the panel. When I close the panel, it goes to Edit mode which does nothing for me. So, then I hit prepare a form mode then that huge panel shows up again. I do not need this panel to prepare my form all the time. What I do need, is to be able to see the actual pdf page zoomed in and all my thousands of small fields that I can see and adjust.
In the previous version, I was able to get rid of any panels on the side so I can actually see what I'm working on, adjust any syntax in the fields. This is imperative because we utilize so many fields with insurance medical forms.Yes, I am able to zoom in but then I have to keep moving the arrow at the bottom way too many times and boy does that take time when zoomed in. If that panel would just go away, I would be able to see my PDF and adjust fields then.
I want to be able to close the "prepare a form" panel and continue preparing the form by adjusting any fields necessary. But, it cannot stay in Edit mode because then I can't see what the syntax fields say

Revise the latest version of Acrobat
Adobe should go back to the previous version. This version of Acrobat is nothing but frustrating. To be kind, the new version is not an improvement.
