2. Add a Default Setting for Select or Pan tool in Adobe Acrobat Extension

   Feature Request: If there could be an extension setting added or some kind of browser variable to save the state of the extension with what the previous toggled mode or default mode was for Select/Pan tool for future tabs.

   Use Case: We have several employees who utilize Adobe Acrobat extension because they prefer the Adobe user interface in the Microsoft Edge or Google Chrome browser instead of having to open the standalone Acrobat app unless the certain functionality is needed. They regularly use the Pan tool over the Select tool and with the icons on the same menu slot it becomes a headache as they have to activate it every time they load a new tab. There also is no keyboard shortcut to make this easier so you have to use the cursor to toggle this setting with two clicks for each new tab.

   The display mode buttons are awkward and unclear.
   The icons do not permit to foresee the visualisation behavior.
   The old buttons prior to this innovation were much more convenient.

8. Font size adjustment after making subscripts reverts subscripts to normal font size

   When changing anything within a text field to a subscript or superscript, and then changing the font size of the entire field later, the subscript or superscripts are also changed to that font size. In most cases, it would be preferable to maintain characters or words that are subscripted/superscripted during an overall font size change.

9. Have an option to hide the editor features and use a reading/display mode as default view

   I want to use the browser extension for Acrobat Pro as my default PDF handler but most of the time, but not all the time, I am just wanting to open and read a PDF and not edit one. I was surprised there is no option to have it default into a reader mode/display mode with the editor interface hidden with perhaps a button that will toggle back to edit mode when needed.

   You can see the default view in the attached screenshot which clearly isn't conducive to just reading. The pdf is shrunk into that window making the text hard to read. All the buttons and menus are too busy and distracting for a reading mode. I realize there is a zoom feature, but I think having a preference setting to default to a reading mode makes much more sense for users.

    When you save a copy of a form from Document Cloud in Acrobat, the mouse pointer disappears behind the Acrobat window and is no longer visible.

    There are also issues with digital documents:

    Depending on how you send documents for signing, either English or German is used as the language. That can’t be right. If you send a form from Acrobat using “Request e-Signatures,” the customer receives an email in English and an interface in English. If you send it from Adobe Sign, everything is in German.

    In addition, in Adobe Sign, all fields can be moved around, with no way to prevent this. Is this intentional? If so… that’s bad.

    One more thing: In pre-prepared forms for digital signatures, number fields are displayed with a “.” after the first two digits. Example: 56894 is displayed as 56.894.

    As customers, we expect to receive software that is consistent and functions properly. Adobe is currently far from meeting that expectation.

19. Rethink the Automatic Update behavior for the Acrobat app

    Like many users I was caught off guard by the automatic October 2018 update that significantly changed things (for the worse, as usual). I wasn't even aware that Acrobat had automatic updates turned on! All the other CC apps simply notify you via Creative Cloud when an update is available, and I choose whether or not to install it. Why is Acrobat different?

    Apps from other companies have a prominent dialog during initial install that asks whether you want to install updates automatically or not. I don't recall ever seeing this type of notice for Acrobat.

    At the very least, there needs to be a popup message that says "Acrobat has just updated" or "welcome to version XXXX" or something, so we aren't totally confused by a sudden new interface that we didn't ask for.

    And yes, I'm now aware that there is a preference to turn off auto updates, but it's buried and it was never made obvious that it's turned on by default.
