  1. After marking a 'Text and Images' redaction to a page and repeating across pages. Once you press apply it says its done, i'm skipping the removal of hidden info. Once I press save its saying there are sections which have not yet had the redaction applied? I can continually press apply and nothing seems to change. Once I close the document and save without applying redactions the program will crash but the file will still have saved a file that has the redacted info gone but not the style of redaction mark that was originally selected, the correct redaction style…

  5. I frequently create links in Acrobat. It would be very, very helpful if there was a shortcut to create them, just as there is for creating bookmarks.

  6. When I write accent marks in the bookmarks tags they do not appear, for example, I cannot write "título", which I could in the previous version of Acrobat. I work in spanish. They only appear if I'm not writing but selecting the text and then cmd+b. But I don't always want to do that, frequently because that text is upper case and I mostly use upper/lower case in the bookmarks.

The only solution I've found for "writing" them is to find a letter with accent mark I need within the text, copy it and past it in the bokkmark's title.

  7. every time i use fill and sign the program crashes.
have had online adobe team fix multiple times (which takes hours)
the problem will go away and then come back a month later . i have asked multiple times what the issue is with no explanation.
i am using a brand new HP Pavillion Core i7 desk top.
i will be cancelling my subscription and finding another means of completing my work documents.

  8. After Acrobat updated to 2019.008.20071, my Enfocus Pitstop Tools have disappeared. I have tried uninstalling/re-installing both Acrobat and Pitstop. With no change. I have checked for an update to Acrobat but get a message that 20071 is the latest version. Enfocus says the problem is in Acrobat.

When can i expect a fix for this. I need these tools in order to be able to work with my customers. Thanks

  10. 99.9% of the time, when I'm going to EDIT a pdf, its just to resize or crop it, not to change the content. But I have to wait for the OCR processing to complete before the crop tool is available. I shouldn't have to wait for a feature I'm not intending to use. Especially if I'm working with CAD drawings or other non-MSWord source files, the OCR processing takes forever, since the content isnt designed for that.

  12. Hi,

I have Adobe Acrobat Reader Pro - Build: 18.11.20040.280397, operating on MACOS High Sierra 10.13.4, with a MFC Brother printer.

all of a sudden I can't print any files unless I go into advanced settings in the print dialogue box and change to print as image?

I have updated my mac, my printer and adobe acrobat with no success. I have attached a screenshot of the error msg in my printer queue.

    Hi Bert,

Could you check if the following steps works for you?
    1. Open Print dialog
    2. Click on “Advance” button
    3. Select “Postscript Options”
    4. Change “Font & Resource Policy” to “send for each page”
    5. Print your documents

    Thanks
    Ritesh

  13. Just be able to add roman numeral page numbers that are reflective of the page labels.

  14. Per features available through at least Acrobat 8 -
    1) ability to adjust baseline of text, or portion of text
    2) ability to adjust letter spacing and word spacing - have PDFs where the source must have been justified, and current controls don't have good way to correct this.
    2) set fill and stroke for text
3)find/replace single character or character codes - for example, find a 'fi' ligature and replace it with the letters 'fi'.

  15. It's pointless to customize and 'show' tool icons in the toolbar, because those tools that I want and use are hidden under the 3 dots. And that happens because Home, Tools, Document, and My Account is stuck permanently and uselessly in the toolbar.

I have set the program to open multiple files in separate windows, so I don't need the Document tab. The Tools sidebar can be opened by clicking in the margin at the edge of the window, so I don't need that. And if users need to open and close files within the program (can't understand why), then…

  16. I use Acrobat and pdfs every day to save, print and share client files. With this latest "upgrade" of Acrobat DC, it usually takes at least 3 or 4 times opening a document to be able to use it. I open a document and all I get is the spinning circle. I can wait till the cows come home, but it won't do anything. If I click on the document, it says Acrobat is not responding. If I click on it again, it grays out the entire page and I have to close the program. This will happen time after…

  17. Please make "enable scrolling" an option that can be set in preferences. There seems to be a "single page continuous option, but it does not seem to have any effect.
It is tiresome to have to set this for every document.

  18. New update moved the fit page to window button to a hidden drop out floating toolbar. I use this tool and family of tools every time I am in Acrobat I should have the option of making always visible is the top docked quick tools toolbar like it was in the previous versions just the other day.

  19. 1) In the old comment pane, there was text that accompanied each entry identifying it as an underline, strikethrough, replacement, or insert. Now, the text identifier is gone and we only have an arcane symbol. This is awful. I work with clients who are less familiar with Acrobat and this only makes it more difficult for them to understand the nature of my comments. Please bring back the text labels that identify comment pane entries as underlines, strikethroughs, replacements, or inserts.

    2) You know not everyone uses Acrobat on a collaborative team of a dozen people, right? I use it…
