Add ability to change default font for fields in Prepare Form
When using Prepare Form, I have to change the default font and size to my preferences on EACH field I enter. There should be a way to set your preferences for font and size.

It take too long to upload and giving error about file is too large
It's so slow to work with as compare to DocuSign and if I upload couple documents together it says files is too big. it's only 12 pages, very inconvenient.
It should give the separe report for each pdf but when you attach multiple files in one signature then it create a combined file which is creates extra work to separate them or you have to send it individually which takes longer time and too many emails in the inbox and confuse me and my clients.

Cursor Bug
I'm using a 2019 Mac Pro with all the latest Adobe software. When Acrobat is open and in front of the Finder windows and other apps everything is fine but when I click into another app or Finder window, while Acrobat is open in the background, the Acrobat cursor remains visible. Hiding or quitting Acrobat is the only way to restore the correct cursor. When this occurs while working with another Adobe app (e.g. Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) the cursor flickers between the Acrobat cursor and the other program's cursor. There is a flickering cursor bug which has affected Adobe software…

AATL Trust List not updated
Acrobat is not updating the AATL trust list automatically or even asking when a document that is signed is opened.
There is a checkbox under Preferences > General > Trust Manager > The Automatic Adobe Approved Trust List (AATL) updates. Load trusted certificates from an Adobe AATL Server is checked. This is the default when you install acrobat. It however does not update the list. If you uncheck the box, close Acrobat, then open Acrobat check and reclose and open, it works.
Most users won't know to go here and all documents end up looking like they are not valid.

File release when closing in ACROBAT
I'm working everyday with thousands of PDF files for our repository www.ceeol.com. To maintain my overview in WINDOWS-Explorer, quite often I have to change the file names of the PDF-filess. For example, if I've downloaded 100 PDF-documents from a web page, which are a series of numbered documents, then I want to include the numbering in the file name. To do this, I have to open the files, read the number in the document, close the file again and then rename it accordingly.
PROBLEM:
Renaming is not possible because ADOBE-Acrobat does not release the file, even if I close…1 vote -
Batch OCR blocking app and interfering with system
The batch OCR feature is simply not fit for purpose and needs completely replacing.
When performing a batch OCR the application is entirely locked into the process and is unable to do any other tasks. Acrobat installs itself as the default PDF viewer, so you cannot even view a PDF by default when the OCR process is running. There needs to be a way to run these batch processes as true background tasks that do not interfere with other Acrobat functions, or the ability to open multiple instances of Acrobat.
The batch process will often crash without warning or error…

Export review comments to Excel
The comments compilation remains as a .pdf only. I want to be able to extract shared review comments to an Excel file for further resolutions to be added outside the review. The .fdf and the .xfdf create garbled data content. The export to Word is also with issues. It does not work.
Request a feature that will allow export to a flat-file Excel file.5 votes -
Adobe Reader for Linux
I need Adobe Reader DC on Ubuntu, because it's the only pdf reader who can open and edit pdf files with forms (xml embeeded).
I am forced to use Windows only for this application: Adobe Reader. And only to fill in a pdf tax form and send it to my local administration.
Maybe there is a way to create a payed version of Adobe Reader for Linux users.
Thank you!11 votes -

Acrobat DC Bug Leaking Handles
I'm using windows 7 and 10 and Acrobat DC
Bug: Windows task manager (Details tab, with "Handles" column enabled" ) reports that the Acrobat process is now using more than 1 million handles.
I just updated to DC 21.005.20048 after discovering the million handles.
I am trying to reproduce the handle leak by starting from a fresh session of Acrobat. I usually have many big PDFs open and CTRL+F search them regularly (clicking forwards/next and backwards/previous)
Here is a medium sized one from archive.org
https://archive.org/download/n08ontariosession31onta/n08ontariosession31onta.pdf
When I search it for common words (the, if, ...) the handle count does increase.…

Password required after Authentication App approval
Windows 10 (Lenovo PC). Is the point of using the Adobe Authentication App to cofirm access when logging in not intended to make use of a password unnecessary? When logging in, we are asked to confirm on the app and then asked for the password. If a password is always going to be required, then the (mis-)information in the motivation for using the App needs to be updated.

Additional Signatures and Initials
I run a fmaily business. I frequently need to sign PDF contracts with multiple signatures and initials. It would be extremely valuable to be able to store multiple signatures (for us, at least 4) and multiple initials in the Fill & Sign stored signature area.

Right click functionality while tagging content in accessibility suite.
Problem Description: While remediating document for accessibility in Adobe Acrobat Pro DC, Visual Tags that are assigned can sometimes be stacked or overlayered (<P>, <H1>, <TOC>, etc.) on top of the tagged text. This makes it difficult to ISOLATE AND KNOW the layered tag that you would like to right-click on the output display.
Steps to Reproduce: //Open a Table of Contents in Adobe Acrobat Pro DC/ Open Accessibility Checker and check document/ Click on Tags Icon in Accessibility Menu/ Click on Reading Order/ go to body of document/ Identify tags that look like they are overlayered on top of…

preferences
How do I copy the preferences in Acrobat for the toolbars, views, etc. that I painstakingly set up on one computer now that I have a new one to set up? Where is the preference file stored? The old computer with the good Acrobat preferences is not online.

Allow signers to be removed if they have not yet signed
I understand protecting a document after a signer(s) has completed his/her signature. However, pdf creator should be able to remove a signer(s) should their signature no longer be required (based on the signer not signing the pdf yet). Additionally, this functionality should be doable on desktop software vs forcing user to do it online/cloud.
