  1. This feature request proposes the addition of a keyboard shortcut in Acrobat to promote/demote bookmark levels. Currently, demoting a bookmark can be done easily by dragging it to a lower level, but promoting it requires a two-step process. With this new shortcut, users could efficiently reorganize their bookmarks by quickly moving them up or down the hierarchy. This feature would be particularly useful when dealing with scanned files that lack structure information, but require a hierarchical set of bookmarks for easy navigation.

  2. Print multiple pages on one sheet by shifting the contents 1 by 3 to the left side of the paper.

    Print multiple pages on one sheet by moving the contents to the left side of the paper.
    In the case of custom prints, 3 horizontally and 1 vertically.
    So that the left side of the paper has custom printed content 1 by 3 and the right side of the paper has space for writing after printing 1/3 of the printable paper width.

  3. I'm trying to report a bug in that Adobe will not type the letter f while editing a document. When I fill in the problem the option is to post it to this forum, which is NOT what I want to do. But, while I am here, does anyone know how to fix this?

  4. I use multiple cloud providers for storage, all of which provide an option for a local synchronized folder, providing Explorer/Finder access to cloud-based files and folders. Many of these are free, though I do pay for extra functionality. With a paid solution like Acrobat Pro, there is no logical reason why Adobe does not offer this option already. I would rather use Adobe Scanner to scan a document and be able to access it minutes later on my desktop, than use a lesser, third-party app to scan my documents and jump through hoops to curate and OCR the file and…

  5. On Adobe Acrobat versions 7, 8, and 9, I have been able to utilize the Acrobat Access 3.0 Type Library and the Adobe Acrobat 10.0 Type Library to Save a PDF using Visual Basic for Applications. This is done in MS Access. In Acrobat DC, these libraries, the functionality I utilize is missing.

  7. The state of Texas now requires students to be assessed using multi-select. I am an instructional coach and work with the teachers. I use Adobe for almost everything. I can create a multi-select dropdown in Excel, but not in Acrobat. It would benefit hundreds of school districts and millions of kids for Adobe to create a multi-select dropdown list option in the fillable PDF. Thank you.

  9. Bug

    A weird issue only when you try to combine PDFs from the right-click menu in Windows.

    Steps to reproduce:
    1. Find 2 or more PDFs in Explorer, highlight them, right-click, Combine Files in Acrobat...
    2. Acrobat launches with a white screen. To fix, simply resize the window in any way and the screen for combining files renders correctly. Click Home and going tack to Tools also fixes it.

    Windows 10 22H2 (Also occurs in Windows 11 21H2). Occurs on many workstations in our environment.

  11. PA-LEASE! Turn off the "Renew Now" and "Activate" notifications. Our IT takes care any upgrade$, so I have no use for these time-burglar Notifications! Every other time I attempt to "Combine Files in Acrobat" (which I perform multiple times each day), one of these notifications pops up and I have to close it and close out of Acrobat Adobe and try again from my Explorer folder.   12. Read Aloud: My favorite would be that READ ALOUD CONTROLS for PLAY/PREVIOUS/NEXT/PAUSE/SPEED present in a bar to limit having to go through the menus, annoying. Menu options, there is no previous or forward options, so only restarting the reader?   13. The design of Adobe currently makes you click twice to view a pdf whenever more than one pdf is currently opened in Adobe. This is because Adobe has been designed with windows to recognize each pdf as another window of the program. Windows does this with all programs like chrome, excel, explorer etc. However, adobe is a paper viewer/editor program and all opened pdfs should be coded as tabs under one program because the primary purpose is for viewing. Other programs like excel are for input, explorer for browsing and opening, but adobe is for viewing and the pdfs should…

  16. For contracts (sometimes containing up to 600 pages) I need to add an initial on each page (requirment from our legal department). Now I need to do it manually on each page.
    Would it be possible to add the option to copy the initials to all pages?

  17. The e-signature process is not user friendly for two main reasons:

    1) Once you have uploaded all signers and receivers and moved to indicate where to sign I have not found a way to go back to add a signer if I forgot one

    2) If you have partially completed your e-signature form and have to move to another task it is impossible to save your partial work. For a complex form, this is very inconvenient. This is made even more so as after a certain time of inactivity, the system deletes all changes.

  18. I work in Prepress and preflight hundreds of PDFs. We use Pitstop to outline all fonts. The problem is, Acrobat does not auto-activate fonts. In order to outline fonts properly, we have to open the PDF file, see what fonts are used, quit Acrobat, activate the fonts needed, and finally, reboot Acrobat. This is tedious and very time consuming.

    If other Adobe products can auto-activate fonts, why can't Acrobat?
