  2. When an error is made in an Adobe Sign template, but the error is not realized until after the document is sent for signature (or worse yet, already signed), it is nearly impossible to correct the issue and re-send the form. It should be the case that, a document pending signature or already signed, can be re-sent and everything is already filled out except for the field which was modified. For example, I realized that I accidentally assigned one field at the end of a document (among dozens of fillable fields) to the wrong person...the person got all the way…

  3. When a docx is saved as a PDF (by Microsoft Word 2019 MSO (16.0.12624.20348) 64bit) and form-fields are added in Adobe Acrobat Pro DC 2020.006.20042, and the resulting PDF with formfields is then filled out and saved using Preview.app 2020.006.20042 on a Mac, the resulting PDF hides the filled out content of form-fields. Clicking into the filled form field reveals the contents. The PDF renders fine in other PDF viewer implementations.

    Steps to reproduce:
    1. Create an empty word document and save it as a PDF.
    2. Open the PDF with Adobe Acrobat Pro DC and add a form field…

  4. There used to be a great feature where you could click a box to "keep tool selected" so you keep using the same tool, over and over again without clicking on the Icon again and again and again. It was especially useful when reviewing a large document where you wanted to highlight several passages or for adding text, etc.

  6. When trying to open a second pdf in an new tab, Acrobat DC crashes after some seconds of freeze.

I found the reason for this in the latest two Win 10 cumulative updates of 08 and 09/2020. Skipping the update in August and hoping, that the update in September works better didn't help. Deinstalling these updates solves the problem.

Some other applications are affected as well (like the launcher from EA/Origin or the Samsung Magician).

This is the message from the windows event viewer:
Name der fehlerhaften Anwendung: Acrobat.exe, Version: 20.12.20048.6926, Zeitstempel: 0x5f5b9602
Name des fehlerhaften Moduls: D3D9.DLL, Version: 10.0.19041.488,…

  7. Need Adobe Acrobat for Linux. Most fill-ins do not work with the third party software available for Linux systems. So, we have to pay the M/S tax to do tax forms that our state demands.

  8. Hi,
On Windows, suppose if i have 4 tabs open on Acrobat Pro DC, when i navigate my arrow on the Acrobat icon on the task bar, it shows 4 different windows preview of the tabs open. This looks really messy when lots of tabs are open. This also prevents me from doing one click to minimise and one click to maximise window because when i click on the acrobat icon on task bar it shows me preview window of tab and i have to click again.

On Chrome or firefox, even if i have 50 tabs open, when i…

  9. When flattening the attached PDF with Acrobat DC, the shade (which is covered by a vector object and therefore only visible as some kind of a frame), becomes visible.
This is clearly not the expected results and therefore a bug.

  10. Creator should be able to see the allocation of fields after sending, i.e., make it visible which fields have been assigned to whom.

  11. Text menus should be an option in preferences. Your non-standard hieroglyphics just aren't working for me and I've been using this version for about a year- if I could go back to version nine I would in a heartbeat. You still have the File, Edit, View, Window, Help text menus (don't you dare!). Why not have the other important functions in another text row underneath?

  12. I was advised that there is an existing bug (Cl217) on this but it does not appear to be resolved. Quick read on support community shows this issue has not been resolved since before 2018.

I am being told I need to upgrade my subscription to create unlimited PDFs. When I click "Subscribe Now" it takes me to the payment page and tells me I already own the product.

Consultants on the chat cannot help after over 5 hours of contact and 10 different consultants.

    Please resolve.

  13. Why in this day and age have you still not added any functionality to combine emails into a PDF directly?! Enormous amounts of global productivity is wasted each day on having to individually save thousands of emails individually into a PDF format in order to be able to then bind them into a PDF. You could actually just resolve the issue directly and make everyone's lives a little less ******.

  16. Hi!
We recently switched from HelloSign to Adobe Sign. Adobe sign currently takes our team three times as long as Hellosign did. One of the biggest frustrations is if we noticed we missed an email address, we have to start completely over. Could you PLEASE make it so we can go back to the original page to make changes rather than starting completely over? In addition, is it possible to change the default to be not signing in order and we can change if needed? And lastly, is it possible to change the setting so if a password is entered…

    Sorry for your inconvenience.
It seems InDesign hangs for you. It is not clear how Acrobat is involved in the process. Can you please explain the workflow?

  18. Bug report

Latest Acrobat DC Pro version (20.009.20063) has introduced a bug where the button "Combine files in Acrobat" in Windows right click context menu does not work as expected. Seemingly randomly it stops working - clicking on the context menu option does nothing, no error. After a restart to the system it works again, but just for some time. Unfortunately I do not know if it is after a certain time or some action that it stops working.

I went back one version (to 20.006.20042) and it works without problems.

This is on Windows 10 (1909).

  19. Major Issues with dropdown functionality when sending for signature.

To understand what I mean, certain features that work for text fields don't work for Dropdowns.

Example 1. - When using the Fill & Sign, send for signatures function text fields allow for blank unrequired fields to be sent for signature. Dropdowns do not. You must apply a value for dropdown to not have errors and the value cannot be a simple space.

Example 2 - When using the Fill & Sign, send for signatures function text field values that are pre-filled for customers are accepted and not editable (unless specifically…
