1. From PowerPoint with embedded Excel chart, pdf generated by pressing "Create and Share Adobe PDF" button produces PDF with ghost image

   Using Office 365 with latest updates. Using Adobe Acrobat Pro 2023.003.20244 64-bit.

   For multiple PowerPoint presentations, we have seen that if the PowerPoint presentation has an embedded Excel chart or an embedded Excel sheet, when we create a PDF, the resulting PDF has a ghost/shadow type image showing.

   This happens when pressing the PowerPoint toolbar button "Create and Share Adobe PDF".

   Please note that this shadow/ghosting problem does NOT happen when choosing to print and selecting "Adobe PDF" as the device to print to.

2. Pop Up Notes Displayed When Adding Lines, Arrows, Tex Callout- Please Get Rid Of These Pop Up Notes

3. New update is bad

   The new update does not allow custom colours for highlighting, clicked on one of their default colours and lost my original highlight colour forever... thanks Adobe

4. Duplicate field on all pages feature missing

   I used to be able to duplicate fields to all pages. After the latest update (23.0), this feature seems to have been removed. This means putting a document out for signing now takes 3-4 times longer to complete. Please, add this back

5. Suggest New Feature for Adobe Acrobat Pro

   Template for adding form elements that are identical for various pages. Feature would allow you to select from a custom list of pre-saved field sets (from another document you had created previously).

   I make editable PDFs and need to have the same style of footer for sell sheets, and often the same fonts, colors and size. For event flyers, this is also an identical item. For now, I just copy and paste fields from another editable document or replace the page behind the fields. Would be nice to save this inside of Acrobat to have in both CC library or saved local to the computer.

7. Selecting and Extracting Pages from a file

   Why is it so difficult now to extract pages from a PDF? You used to be able to open thumbnails, click on a page, hold down on the shift key and arrow down to grab the pages you need to extract. With the update you now have to open thumbnails, click on the 1st page you want about 50 times before a little box pops up and then you have to click another 50 times to get that box to check and then to grab additional pages it's an exercise in futility. Why did you have to "update" Adobe when there was nothing wrong with it in the first place? Please regress back to the last version. This has made my job more cumbersome and less efficient. Please listen to us!

8. Issue with Arabic language when to convert from pdf to PowerPoint or Word

   Acrobat's export of PDF files in Arabic language to any Microsoft Office format does not properly handle right-to-left languages. I know numerous people have complained about this for a number of years and no action has been taken to solve this issue. The export feature is useless in the Arabic region if it does not support the conversion of PDF files in Arabic content.

10. Browse for Folder Dialogue in Acrobat Needs Update

    When extracting multiple pages as files, Acrobat presents an old and cumbersome dialogue to select the folder in which to save the extracted files. This dialogue is difficult to navigate through. Why not simply use the standard Windows File Explorer? In addition to being hard to find one's way around, the dialogue always defaults to the top level of the directory, whereas the File Explorer defaults either to the last location used or the location of the source file, and normally, I can choose between these default options. Finally, this dialog provides no opportunity to name the extracted page files before they are saved. This requires the user to go through the tedious process of manually renaming each of those files.
    I haven't found a single other function in any Adobe application that uses this "Browse for folder" dialogue. In Photoshop, for example, when I export several jpeg files from a single PSD file, the app uses the standard File Explorer interface to ask me where to put the resulting files.

11. Hyperlinks Problem - Cannot create Relative Hyperlinks using PDFMaker in Word

    Office 365 Word Version 2312 Build 17126.20132) Current Channel.

    Word with PDFMaker is creating what "appears" to be Relative Hyperlinks (links that are portable and will work wherever the documents reside on other computers) in Office 365 Word but these links are really absolute hyperlinks (links that retain the directory path of the computer the word file was created on). Alt-F9 in Word shows the hyperlink as relative, no directory path. This appearance is deceiving.
    When the PDF is created using Word's Adobe PDFMaker, the resulting links in the PDF are absolute, they show the directory path from the computer the Word file resides on. This renders any PDFs as not portable when you move these PDFs to another computer. The links fails on the other computer unless the other computer's directory path is exactly the same as the directory path of the source computer the PDF's came from.
    There is no way in Word or in the PDF to remove the directory path to keep the link relative. If in Word you edit the hyperlink and delete the directory path portion of the link, the directory path reappears after saving the link if you try to edit it again. You cannot edit the hyperlink path in the PDF file.
    So the problem is that there is no way for Word and Adobe PDFMaker to create relative PDF's. This becomes a big problem when we need to distribute these PDF's to clients. We cannot create portable PDF documents anymore.

12. Long, long pauses when opening documents

    I need an EASY way to disable all forms of pre-processing that Acrobat does when opening a file. At present, although I've tried to turn off all options that might slow down file opening, it still takes a FULL MINUTE to open most documents. It's so slow that I've stopped using Acrobat whenever I can make do with a third party app.

15. Print from right-click context menu shouldn't leave Acrobat dashboard open

    In Windows, when right-clicking on an existing PDF and then choosing "Print", the Acrobat dashboard should not be left open. (Actually, would be nice if it didn't open at all). The selected document should just print and all Acrobat windows should disappear from the user's view. Thanks.

17. how to email a document

    Restore email function. I know Adobe is pushing traffic toward their CLOUD for various reasons but once in a while, please consider the users' needs.

    Taking away this function is absurd.

18. Make properties default on stamp size

    When changing the size of a generic 'dynamic' stamp and then right click and choose 'Make current properties default', the size of the stamp keeps reverting to the original size. It seems puzzling because the opacity % works when changing the default setting. This seems to be a known issue according to the agent who assisted me.

20. What the devil did you do to Acrobat?! You've butchered the standard menu and replaced it with some childish set of random buttons instead.

    Since the last update, I can't find the most useful tools because there's no longer a normal, standard "file, edit, ..." menu across the top... and I don't know if it's possible to get it back in a "Classic" form... if so, it shouldn't be hard to realize or see how to do it. You've made this an usable piece of ****. I'm spending more time looking for the tools I've used intuitively before, and getting my temper under control, than doing real work. GIVE ME BACK A STANDARD FORM MENU ON THE TOP, WITHOUT SEARCHING AND HUNTING FOR SUCH AN OPTION.
    I also don't need Acrobat deciding for me the size of the document or the workspace. That was something I could easily reset with the mouse by holding/ dragging the viewport edges, but now it snaps back to whatever it was. This happens even if I use dynamic zoom to increase size of document... now I can only see a tiny portion of the whole doc, instead of controlling the viewport myself. Whose presumptuous idea was THIS!!?
