    Hi Toda,

You can use “Create Multiple Files” option in Create PDF Tool in Acrobat for creating individual PDF for each file in a folder.

    Follow these steps:
    1. Make sure you have latest version of Acrobat
    2. Click on “Tools” tab
    3. Click on “Create PDF” icon. It’s usually the first one.
    4. Select “Multiple Files” and check “Create Multiple PDF Files”
    5. Click “Next”
    6. Click on “Add Files” drop down and select “Add Folder”
    7. Browse to your input files and Click “OK”
    8. Select destination folder and Click “OK”

Please let us know if this solves your issue.

    Regards,
    Ritesh

  6. BE able to save multiple subsections and bookmarked Sections as a PDF rather than the whole document when PRINT action does not allow subsections to be saved through printer dialogue. Going to save as just saves the whole document again. NOT the selected Subsection or multiple pages.

    Hi,

    Thanks for your valuable feedback.
We have recorded it as a feature request in our database.
However saving multiple pages to PDF option is there. You can give selected pages in ‘Pages’ option on print dialog.

    Best Regards!

  7. Every pdf document I send to my MFD (Canon) does not automatically print. It sends a message to pick paper size because it's a custom size. However, it is NEVER a custom size, it's always 8-1/2 x 11. All the settings in my document say to print to 8-1/2 x 11, I've tried shrink and fit and still, I keep getting the message at the printer and have to choose 8-1/2 x 11. Really annoying.

  8. Currently have Adobe Acrobat installed on my university machine and am using Word 2013 to compile my thesis chapters and figures (.emf and .png files). However when I either use the ‘create pdf’ ribbon option using press quality settings (adjusted to a4 paper size) I end up with a .pdf with 8.5 x 11 in size. This happens also when printing via Adobe PDF option through word.

  9. We are noticing an error in prints of 3D space from Adobe DC in either Windows 7 or Windows 10. When you print views, sometimes there’s a “White Box” in the middle of the view no matter which medium you print through/to (i.e. physical printer, Adobe PDF, Word Doc, OneNote, etc.).

I attached an example PDF where this behavior can be seen. The original model is included as an attachment in the PDF. The information attached does not have any restrictions. The information in the PDF is correct until you print it.

    Reproduction Steps:
    1. Export a PDF from ACW…

    Hi,

    We already have this feature.
    You can try following workflow:
    1. Open PDF.
    2. Click Print.
    3. In Pages section give Page numbers which you want to print.

If you are still facing issue then let us know the version of Acrobat you are using and workflow you are doing.

    Best Regards!

  11. Adobe documents will only duplex print on my Brother HL-L52000. There are no options to turn this off in the print menu.

Auto-Duplexing is turned off in the printer. I have another Brother MFC-9340 that does not have this issue and prints single side. All other programs function properly and all print single sided.

Please advise how I can print documents from Adobe single sided.

  12. After the latest Acrobat Pro DC update, I click on the printer icon and it takes 5-6 seconds before the application begins bringing up the print dialog. Then I click the print button on the print dialog and it takes 15-19 seconds before the document actually begins printing on my HP LaserJet color printer. This is immensely longer than printing took before the update. On the initial click of the printer icon, the title bar actually says "not responding."

  13. After latest update of adobe acrobat pro DC (for me d.d. 25 February 2018)

    The PDF printer has disappeared.

    System config:
    Windows 7 professional sp1 64 bit
Creative cloud (adobe acrobat pro DC)

Actions tried to get the printer back:
    1. I tried a repair of adobe acrobat pro DC.
    2. I tried manually add the printer.
    3. reinstall adobe acrobat pro DC.

If I go to the windows event viewer I see the following error message:
Installing printer driver - failed, error code 0x2, HRESULT 0x80070002. See the event user data for context information.

  14. Virtual Printer for Mac
So you can print customised page sizes A1 A2 etc from all software
Used to be a feature but has been removed.
is still a feature on PC.
Other apps are available such as PDF Printer from the App Store that do this.

Need to either have Adobe PDF appear as a printer, or be able to adjust settings under the create pdf button, before it creates the pdf.

currently you can only create a pdf that matches the same size as the document. so you can't print an A4 document onto an A3, A2, A1…

  15. If I select multiple copies and check the two-sided print option and go back to print, it resets the copies to 1.
Also, the collate option was hard to find being hidden until you select more than 1 copy.

  16. Yesterday I purchased 1 year subscription to Adobe Acrobat Pro and since installation I am unable to edit PDFs due to the following pop-up error message:
"Unable to process the page because the Paper Capture recognition service experienced an error. (6)".
I have searched all over the internet for its solution but could not find one. This is really frustrating, bought an annual subscription and still not able to edit PDFs. I feel that I have wasted my money in buying the subscription.

  17. I have several settings/presets saved in the folder:

    /Users/saschabucher/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Adobe PDF/Settings

But only some of them are showing up in the Distiller settings dropdown where you can set the preset. The ones showing up are not even in the alphabetic order. This is maybe related to the issue in InDesign where the script panel is also not anymore ordered.

This is may just cased by OSX High Sierra and SSD.

    Hi,

    Thanks for your valuable feedback.
For Distiller setting dropdown not in alphabetic order we have logged a bug in our database.
And Setting which are not showing in dropdown this is not reproducible at our end. Can you please try reinstalling and updating Acrobat if its not updated to latest version? Let us know if this issue is still there.

    Best Regards!

  19. It would be great to have a pdf inspection mode to easily select items in the pdf and get printing specs on it like the ink type (pms, cmyk) and color used (pms 281, C100M60Y0K6), the font, the resolution of an image as dpi at the current used size, etc.

    Hi,

Thanks for your valuable feedback. We have recorded it in our database.

However,Before printing you can check default value through:
    Go to ‘PrintProduction>outputPreview’
Select ObjectInspector from preview drop down and you can check default value.
Hope this will serve you purpose.
    Please keep updating.

    Best Regards!
