  1. Ability to set the default scale (other than 1=1) for all future PDF docs.
AND the ability to set the scale for each individual PDF docs that will remain assigned to that PDF even if you exit Adobe Acrobat and re-open it. I'm an engineer, and work with various different scales, so it would be very beneficial for each PDF, if the user set scale would remain locked with each document, so you don't have to re-establish the scale after exiting and re-opening Adobe Acrobat.

  4. When zooming with the scroll wheel, Acrobat freezes and I get a spinning beach ball. The files I am working with are not large, but they do consist of lots of lines/content streams sometimes. If anyone can offer support for this, it would be greatly appreciated. I encounter this issue multiple times a day and it appears to happen only if I am trying to zoom with the wheel right after it opens and Acrobat is still trying to load the creative cloud profile, or when I have been working in the file for a period of time and try…

Also are you facing this issue with a particular document or this is a generic issue.

  6. I love the Adobe Send & Track plug-in for Outlook 2016 on the PC. I was just informed by someone from Adobe that this feature is not available on Macs. Could you please look into developing this feature for Macs at some point? Thank you.

  7. Permanent crop tool that actually removes cropped content. Masking content does not work for PDFs that need to be later uploaded online. It botches thumbnail creation and causes files to be unnecessarily large.

Sorry fot the inconvenience caused to you.
You can crop the file by following below steps.
    1) Open a pdf
    2) Click on edit pdf
    3) Select option Crop Pages
    4) Now select the desired area and click enter
    5) Now you can select your desired settings for crop, click ok and save your file.

  8. Simply just opening a pdf and attempting to scroll up or down causes the document to lag every time. It's renders the program nearly useless. Since I am paying a month subscription, I expect to not have problems like this.

  11. Been using Adobe Acrobat Pro DC , the latest version as of March 3, 2018, for 2 years and it has progressively encumbered my laptop to the point of being unusable.
I have a 2016 HP Envy with i7 2.6 GHz and 8 GB RAM. Plenty of hard drive space, no bulky software, even my antivirus program is lightweight, and MS Office.
I am frustrated beyond explanation, I'm pulling my hair out. 50% of my job depends on PDF files and my computer just can't seem to get them open quickly, edit them without freezing for 60 seconds, and stop…

  13. As an architect or an engineer, we are always managing plans with different scales that have (usually) a graphic scale for reference. The measure tool would be EXTREMELY useful if includes an option to set the scale by selecting two points on an eventual graphic scale included within an existing pdf... this will help to quickly have the pdf in scale and ready to be measured.

    Please, include this feature.

  15. Currently in acrobat dc opening old portfolios created with older versions are rendered useless. Very few options for operations are available. To convert older portfolios suitable in dc, I had to go through following process:

There is a way to convert xi portfolio to dc portfolio:

    Try this:

Open portfolio created in xi in acrobat dc
right click anywhere, select all - this will select all files in portfolio
    extract files
save to a temporary folder, say working files
select all files in working files folder
right click, combine files in acrobat
select save as portfolio or uncheck save as…

  16. Please develop an add-in for the MacOS environment that provides the same functionality as the PDF Maker add-in for MS Outlook in the PC world. I relied on the feature for archiving email communications & attachments while using a PC, but no longer have the capability on a Mac.

  18. When I convert a photo to a PDF, insert that into a PDF document and then add page numbering, the following problems arise:

    1) on the photo-pages, the page-numbering is reduced in size to be barely visible, and

    2) when paging thru the document, non-photo-pages appear minuscule compared to photo-pages.

  19. To reproduce:
    1. Create a PDF with an embedded version of Bitstream's Charter font included with macOS or OSX.

    1. Open the PDF in Acrobat.

Expected result: normal display of the font. The PDF displays normally in Apple's Preview reader.

Observed result: Many glyphs in italic and bold italic will be incomplete (missing terminals), smeared, or the strokes will be too thin. E.g., "B, F, Q, U, a–z, 4, ?," en dash, em dash, etc. Other glyphs may have problems, I have not tested them all.

Tested on macOS Sierra 10.12.6 with Acrobat DC and Reader DC, both version 18.011.20038; with…

  20. Hi,

The last 64-bit version of Adobe Acrobat DC has introduced the possible display in Windows explorer of the file thumb. Great, BUT it is extraordinarily slow and in practice unusable (in particular in the Windows 10 welcome screen of the explorer, showing the recently opened files: it seems that the cache is rebuilt every new session).

So, please make the appropriate changes in the program to speedup this display, which is very useful.

    Thanks in advance.

P.S. For your information, I work on a DELL XPS desktop with an NVidia GTX 970 graphics display card and my main drive…
