  2. When changing anything within a text field to a subscript or superscript, and then changing the font size of the entire field later, the subscript or superscripts are also changed to that font size. In most cases, it would be preferable to maintain characters or words that are subscripted/superscripted during an overall font size change.

  3. Holding the Command key (Mac) or Control key (Windows) should allow for selecting/highlighting multiple, separate characters or words within a text field. Similar to how the Shift key can be used to select/highlight a single range of characters.

This would allow easier batch modification, to be used when making many singular characters within a paragraph into subscripts, for instance. Command or Control-selecting each character to be modified then enables the user to only have to click the subscript button once, instead of for each character after highlighting.

  5. Adobe currently has capabilities to send forms via e-mail, but this feature would also be terrific to have to send via text.

  6. When a ' or & is in the subject field when sending a document for signature, those characters come through as gibberish on the other end. This only happens when sending from the Acrobat pro dc desktop client.

  8. Allow user to access his contact list saved in gmail to send pdfs off for signature. There is no integration between a google suites account and Adobe Acrobat Pro DC. Even after adding the custom email in Pro DC, one has to copy paste email addresses when using the fill/sign feature.

    Hi,

Can you please provide us the following details :

    1. Version of your Acrobat. Go to Help → Check for Updates.
    2. Does the crash happens with every file or a specific PDF. If possible can you share the PDF file at sagrover@adobe.com.
    3. Are you on Win or MAC? Also can you tell us your OS version.

    Regards,
    Sandeep

  10. When signed into Adobe Acrobat DC and computer is behind a corporate HTTP proxy you can't delete signatures or initials.

    Steps to replicate:
Sign into Adobe Acrobat DC on a PC behind a corporate HTTP proxy
Open a PDF with Adobe Acrobat DC and go to Tools->Fill and Sign->Sign
Clicking on grey stop sign next to signature or initial has no effect

Only workaround is to close Adobe Acrobat DC and rename %appdata%\Adobe to Adobe_BAK and get the user to sign back into Adobe Acrobat DC with their Adobe ID

If you delete only the %appdata%\Adobe\Acrobat\DC\Security\acrobatfsssignature_initials files then…

    Hi,

Thanks for reporting the issue. Can you please try the following steps :

    1. Go to Fill and Sign. Choose Me.
    2. Wait for some time so that all network calls are completed in the background.
    3. Try deleting the signature now.

Let me know if this helps.

    Regards,
    Sandeep Grover

  11. Clicked to fill and send for signatures, added email address, it then tells me I need to sign in or upgrade to use this feature despite it saying under Help that I am still signed it. Click sign in to sign in again and nothing happens. No pop up windows, no movement, computer is not frozen, everything else is working. If i wanted to do something else in Adobe DC I could. I'm already a subscriber. Why is this not working?

  12. After I fill in and sign the document, it won't save. The circle just spins forever until I eventually give up. Now I have to physically print the document and then scan it in, very frustrating and costing me time.

  13. Signature disappears, asks me to add a new one, when I add a new one, it asks me to choose between the old and the new. Then I choose the old one, but it still won't let me add it to the document!

    Hi,

Thanks for writing to us. It will be great if you could provide some more information :

    1. Version of your Acrobat.
    2. Version of your OS.
    3. What are the exact steps you are performing?

  15. I did NOT give consent for Adobe to save my signature into their cloud service!
This feature of saving my signature outside my computer should NEVER be activated without my permission!
Signing could and SHOULD be performed only locally by using local images and file, there is ABSOLUTELY NO NEED for using your cloud services.

    Hi,

Thanks for providing your feedback. This is an As Designed feature in order to provide you a seamless signing experience.

I will share this feedback with the team and will let you know in case we have any update.

  16. It would be nice if there was a hotkey or shortcut for signatures and/or initials. I love the functionality but there is a delay when I click on the signature drop down inside adobe pro. There is also a delay between the signature selection and dragging it into the right position. If there was a hotkey/shortcut, I could bind it to one of my mouse buttons and just press it when I have to initial or sign.

I do sign a lot of pdf documents and it would make it more pleasing if this was implemented.

  17. I am unable to review, edit or remove auto-fill suggestions in Adobe Acrobat, when trying to 'Fill & Sign' the form. I tried all possible options and auto-fill keeps popping up. It is showing some previous personal and sensitive content that needs to be removed. Your support agents say that's impossible. Is this even legal that users can't delete private content showing in the software?? I don't think so.
I also tried turning it off: Edit>Prefrences>Forms>Auto-Complete>Off, but it's not working, it stays on. And I am unable to edit entry list too.
Can this be sorted or I have to…

    Hi,

In order to delete the contents of the auto-fill, please follow the below steps :

    • Go to https://cloud.acrobat.com/ and sign in with your credentials.
    • At the top right corner of the screen, you will see an dropdown with your username on it.
    • Click it and go to Settings.
    • Now you can either stop the auto fill suggestions by unchecking the “Suggest words….” checkbox or you simply press Clear All button and will clear all the auto fill entries which has been stored in your account.
Please let me know in case of any concerns.
    Regards,
    Sandeep Grover

  18. What if you didn't make your product worse for no reason. Like what if when I clicked Fill Forms it did what it used to do, which was let me actually click on the PDF and write things in.

Instead, now clicking on the button pops up a GIANT ******** HUGE SCREEN BLOCK prompt with two options on it, one that lets me use the feature, and the other that brings me to a completely different feature.

If you want to add another feature, add another tool, so that I can ignore it, instead of making literally every time I…

    Hi,

Thanks for your feedback. We have raised your concern to the engineering team and we will get back to you once we have an update.

  19. I am not sure why there is now a screen after I press the fill & sign button that asks who needs to fill and sign first, but it is just 1 more step, one more click I have to make before signing each document I open - very inconvenient. This extra step also seems to slow down the time it takes adobe to open and prepare my document for any sort of editing.

    Hi All,

Fill and Sign and Adobe Sign (formerly known as Send for Signature) are now consolidated into a single Sign tool where you can either fill & sign a document or get a document signed from others. It includes a simplified experience that asks you who needs to fill and sign first: you or others and then walks you through the steps to complete the task. It’s the one place for all your form filling and signature needs. For detailed information, you may refer to the article What’s new in Adobe Acrobat DC

This is designed behavior, I will check with the team and will share an update soon.

Thanks for your time and patience on this.

    Regards,
    Sandeep Grover

  20. I have a document with 3 pages. Two pages have landscape orientation and the last one has portrait orientation. It is not possible to sign the last page on the bottom of the page. The signature (with a picture) vanishes after closing the fill&sign tool. It reappears after opening the tool again, but anyway it is not visible in the resulting pdf-file. No matter if I use the PDF-Export of Excel or if I use the PDF Add-In of Acrobat in MS Office to create the PDF.
