  1. I have 2 network printers. Acrobat always defaults to the first printer in the system printer list, not the one that is the actual default printer. All other apps, including photoshop recognize the system default. This is a bug that should be fixed!

  2. Unless I am missing something it appears that Acrobat Distiller is only able to process one file at a time. I feel like there is a missed opportunity here to take advantage of modern multi-core CPUs and allow Distiller to at least process as many files as there are logical cores on the CPU at the same time. For example I was recently tasked with converting a few hundred files to PDF and it took approximately an hour and a half but if it were able to process 16 files at a time (my CPU has 16 logical cores) I…

  4. How to make a phone call to Google Support. Call Google at +1 888 625 2848 for assistance.

    The number connects to "the Googleplex," a customer care centre in Google's Mountain View, California headquarters.

    When you call the number, you will be directed to an automated menu that will lead to a series of subsequent menus.

    If you are unable to find answers to your questions in these resources, you may send an email to the Grievance Redressal Mechanism.

  5. After setting up to Scan & OCR using an EPSON Perfection 600 Photo scanner, I clicked Scan. I am trying to scan a simple medical receipt, one page only.
    The Adobe Acrobat DC app did not respond.
    I then clicked Cancel, but got an error message indicating Scan was in progress.
    I tried to Quit the Acrobat DC app, but got a similar error message indicating Scan was in progress.
    It seems I will have to Force Quit to close the app and try to scan with another app, from Epson.

  6. The easiest way however is just using online converters. Multiple sites of this nature exist, nevertheless, I lived aware Google Contacts helped this conversion only after I used it to import my View contacts into it.

    Google Contacts supports both importing and exporting your fund's contacts to VCFs or CSVs. The contacts can be sent to either Google CSV format meant for importing into Google Accounts or Outlook CSV format meant for importing into Microsoft Outlook and other applications.

  7. In the email to Recipients, the email body text states and shares the senders name and Adobe ID primary email address.

    This is a privacy issue, there should be an option to hide the email address and/or have option to use alternative email (such as secondary email on the account).

    Using Adobe Sign servers to send the email, it is inferenced that your personal email is not shown to this 3rd party. But I have discovered they have full visibility of your personal email in the body of the email text.

  8. I build most of my presentation decks in Illustrator and export to PDF for Acrobat. It would be useful to have my cursor act like a red-dot laser pointer for presentations.

    Now that so many meetings are remote (Zoom) it would be nice to have more robust presentation features.

    PowerPoint has this feature, but I hate PowerPoint.

  9. VCF to CSV Converter extracts contact data from VCF files and exports it to a CSV file. You can call these passes more efficiently and the list can be used for various reasons.

    Each vCard in a VCF file is stored each on a supplementary row and contains information about your contacts. Shipping and importing contacts from Microsoft Outlook can be accomplished with the use of these files.

    Most of these files are used to ship and import communications. They mainly store names and phone numbers. Use a converter.

  11. Sometimes I receive a file with a single set of different pages(Let's say 5 pages). My customer wants 31 sets. I'd like to select the five, highlight and right click and chose "Copy as set?", then once I do this, a dialog box comes up and asks, "How many would you like?" I would chose 31 and it would duplicate 31 sets. It would change the page count from 5 pages to 155 pages. Thank you!

  12. When I review a downloaded file or make changes to a document and go to save the file I get a blank "Save as PDF" window that never completes loading. If I use [ctrl][s] to save the file I get a message that I don't have write privileges for the document. The program worked fine until yesterday.

  13. Hi all,
    We've tried to add a few metadatas to my PDF file through Indesign (1), such as the title or the author.
    Title works fine, but author does not: to add a second author, I use "," which are converted into ";" right away (2). But when I want to extract pages from the file, all the infos after the first ";" are deleted (3).
    Is there a way to correct this ?

  14. Get rid of this web site and have feedback go directly to "adobe" this way suc_s. My acrobat keeps closing and losing all my work. And I know Adobe will never see this, or fix it.

  16. It is the limitation of the sensing method that it could only load a single contact from a Multiple VCF File. For this purpose, one may need to split the VCF file to multiple connections manually.

    It is an uncomplicated process that when observed correctly will make multiple vcf files.

    In this post, one can comprehend all the steps required to split multiple vCard. Repeat the steps precisely as noted in the post to avoid data loss.

  17. When using Acorbat's Adobe Sign tool to configure a document for signatures, the standard message to recipients is "Please review and sign this document." I often customize this message. However, you get only one opportunity to edit it: after clicking "specify where to sign," triggering the upload process, you cannot change the message to recipients. At that point your only options are to either (1) cancel and start the whole process over, or (2) send for signatures.   19. I am using Prepare Form to insert fields so I can fill out a form.
    For some reason all of my fields display text upside down when I type in them using "fill and sign".
    I can go back to "Prepare Form" and change the property of "Orientation" from 180 to 0. However, I never set any of the fields to 180. This is a bug. Also, I can not select multiple fields and set them all to 0 degree orientation at once.

    This is a very poor user experience. I would use different software in a heartbeat.
