  2. I HATE the new interface. Please return it. It is not space friendly nor user friendly on my end. I use Adobe quite a bit and this is costing me time and efficiency.

  3. Affects Windows Office users who use Adobe Acrobat PDF Maker (the Acrobat ribbon) to export PDFs from MS Office apps. Definitely affects US English versions, and may affect other language versions.

With the recent Acrobat update on either Sept. 12 or Oct. 17, 2023 (Acrobat ver. 23.006.xxxxx with PDF Maker 23 and Library 23.6.136), figures anchored in the Word.docx file do not end up in the correct location in the PDF's tag tree.

<Figure> tags are scattered randomly throughout the PDF's Tag Tree, sometimes several pages AFTER their anchor point in the Word.docx. Some <Figure> tags do get placed correctly…

  4. Allow admins to disable Generative AI from the admin portal. It is absolutely ridiculous to release anything related to LLM without an option to disable it across users.

  5. Can we stop with the constant pop ups? Adobe was once an elegant software. Now it's intrusive, annoying, and sluggish.

  6. My idea is to bring back the old function interface.

The new user interface is the most inconvenient, inexplicable, poorly organized user interface I have experienced with any Adobe product.

In the future, interfaces should be tested with real live users and not code writers.

I wish there were a way to use a "legacy" interface.

  7. The new UI that was forced upon us is not the most efficient layout for everyone. Therefore, we need the ability to be able to customize access to what tools we use most often. Most of the ones I currently use take multiple clicks to get to and through this, costs me time and frustration. It seems from reading other comments that I am not alone in this viewpoint.

  8. Please give an option to entirely remove AI assistant. I do not want it, I do not want its features, its extra data use, its distracting button. This should be an opt-in addon , not an imposed feature.

  9. Like every other service, Adobe as well keeps making things increasingly difficult for people who are not neurotypical. Like this new AI button that SCREAMS in the right corner. Because of these kind of features, using these services (of which we pay a great deal for) is getting almost impossible. I really would appreciate the developers to take into account people whose brain simply does not work in a way that ignoring that HUGE colourful button in the corner is possible. Now that it is there, I cannot use Adobe Acrobat anymore without sticking a sticker to my computer screen…

  10. Who at Adobe thought that it would be a good idea to have a floating toolbar that the user cannot dock, cannot flip horizontally, and, critically, cannot choose to hide? It blocks readable document content and is very annoying.

Please create the option to hide the floating toolbar.

  11. Absolutely HATE the new interface. Hate it so much so I am taking valuable time out of my day to come here and make this post. Be interesting to see if anyone with Adobe even looks at these posts.

First, I struggle to see anyway, so making TINY LITTLE ICONS MAKES IT VERY DIFFICULT TO FIND WHAT I AM LOOKING FOR!!!

I have to hover over said icons to see what they are even for then strain to see what the pop up says.

I need to be able to advance pages, zoom, etc from THE TOP OF THE DOCUMENT…

  12. Please make the pop ups stop. It's a useless feature for me. I don't want to use it, but instead the app keeps crashing because of the stupid pop up.

  13. Give an option to remove AI from toolbar and/or to turn off pop-up/tip to users instead of having to rely on admin. It's distracting. At least put an x so we can dismiss the pop-up.

Alternatively, change the color so it isn't so distracting that it causes productivity loss.

I'm at a loss why Adobe would roll that out as a non-optional visual trespass.

  14. We pay you a subscription fee to have an app for our work, we are NOT beta testers, if we are going to test something you have to get a discount. There should be an option to remove that stupid button.

  15. I had to spend A FULL HOUR OF MY WORK DAY today just trying to figure out how to add text to a PDF. Why? Because the "Add Text" and "Edit Text" features have now changed such that, instead of adding text where you click, they open up a bunch of raster layers which totally destroy the entire document if you try to type in them.

Every time I used the "Add Text" or "Edit Text" it would rearrange all of the text of the form I was trying to fill out in ways that turned the entire document into…

  17. Just opened a PDF file that I had worked on yesterday, and now all the menus are set out differently. How can I revert back to old display?

I want Adobe to look the same as it did yesterday. Confusion causes loss of productivity.

  20. Acrobat is pushing their users to BlueBeam. the new interface added NO user benefit, but made commonly used features harder to access, and switched toolbar sides for no benefit, and obnoxiously forces the floating toolbar to cover your document while leaving the top bars empty. If Acrobat ever removes the "Disable new Acrobat" I will be switching to BlueBeam.
