Just opened a PDF file that I had worked on yesterday, and now all the menus are set out differently. How can I revert back to old display?
Just opened a PDF file that I had worked on yesterday, and now all the menus are set out differently. How can I revert back to old display?
I want Adobe to look the same as it did yesterday. Confusion causes loss of productivity.

turn off AI prompt/toolbar/pop-up/tip
Give an option to remove AI from toolbar and/or to turn off pop-up/tip to users instead of having to rely on admin. It's distracting. At least put an x so we can dismiss the pop-up.
Alternatively, change the color so it isn't so distracting that it causes productivity loss.
I'm at a loss why Adobe would roll that out as a non-optional visual trespass.

AI assistant button
Like every other service, Adobe as well keeps making things increasingly difficult for people who are not neurotypical. Like this new AI button that SCREAMS in the right corner. Because of these kind of features, using these services (of which we pay a great deal for) is getting almost impossible. I really would appreciate the developers to take into account people whose brain simply does not work in a way that ignoring that HUGE colourful button in the corner is possible. Now that it is there, I cannot use Adobe Acrobat anymore without sticking a sticker to my computer screen…

AI Assistant
We pay you a subscription fee to have an app for our work, we are NOT beta testers, if we are going to test something you have to get a discount. There should be an option to remove that stupid button.

new layout
How exactly does the new layout improve productivity by changing and moving EVERYTHING, no instead of going to and clicking on exactly what I need when I need it I have to look around, search, or point and pray to see if I get what I want.
This new layout is complete garbage and was busy work by someone to justify their job, it did not improve productivity at all, it hampered it.

Give option to remove AI assistant
Please give an option to entirely remove AI assistant. I do not want it, I do not want its features, its extra data use, its distracting button. This should be an opt-in addon , not an imposed feature.

New interface is unusable (June 2023)
The new interface makes Acrobat unusable for me. It is counter-intuitive, not intuitive. I can't find the tools I use. I don't even know if they exist anymore. I use it all day for commenting on documents and I can't find the tools such as text callout, circle, arrow, or line. This is only one of many problems. Thankfully you allowed me to revert to the old design. Without the old interface availability, I would need to abandon Adobe Acrobat as a viable product.
If Acrobat was a car the new interface would be equivalent to removing the steering wheel…112 votes -
Scrolling not working on "Bookmarks" and "Advanced Search"
Since the latest Adobe Acrobat Pro DC update, scrolling is not working on "Bookmarks" and "Advanced Search". Please downgrade to last version ASAP when the scrolling works. This is causing so much inefficiency, and for the last 10 days work has been so much delayed. I think this is not just a matter to be fixed ASAP, but also needs proper apology and reward for the users who are paying a fortune in subscribing this Acrobat Pro DC.

STOP THE POP UPS!
Can we stop with the constant pop ups? Adobe was once an elegant software. Now it's intrusive, annoying, and sluggish.

PDF forms using JAWS and NVDA Screen readers with latest Acrobat update
With the latest update of Acrobat (2024.002.20895) I have been experiencing issues reading, completing, and interacting with PDF forms using both JAWS and NVDA screen readers. The screen reader keeps leaving forms mode when I'm in fields. Instead of typing into the field, it recognizes my keystrokes as JAWS commands. For example, when I try to type "Henry" in a Name field, pressing "H" makes it jump to the next heading in the document instead of typing the character(s). I have confirmed that I am in forms mode (both visually and via the sound the screen reader makes when entering…

new interface version sucks
Acrobat is pushing their users to BlueBeam. the new interface added NO user benefit, but made commonly used features harder to access, and switched toolbar sides for no benefit, and obnoxiously forces the floating toolbar to cover your document while leaving the top bars empty. If Acrobat ever removes the "Disable new Acrobat" I will be switching to BlueBeam.

New interface is terrible.
Someone, if not many people should be fired. Everything I use in my PAID SUBSCRIPTION is now more difficult

Please make the pop ups stop. It makes your product useless.
Please make the pop ups stop. It's a useless feature for me. I don't want to use it, but instead the app keeps crashing because of the stupid pop up.

The new version stinks!
I'd like to revert to the previous version of Acrobat - the new version is NOT better - more confusing!

Windows 11 taskbar uncombined
Strange behavior on Windows 11 taskbar when uncombined. As you can see in the attached video, the Adobe Acrobat icon is duplicated when shifting the windows to another monitor and stays like that until I close the app and open it again.
It becomes very annoying when opening many files such as 5 or more. The taskbar will be full of Acrobat.11 votes -
ai assistant
PLEASE stop making this thing pop up at me. I do not want it. Every time I open a document it bugs me to "summarize" it or give me info on it, but the info it gives is incorrect, wrong, and purely made up. It's a stupid, useless tool built on stolen data. Stop shoving it down my throat. I have no need for a inaccurate summary of anything!! What benefit is that?

Floating toolbar
Access to our most used actions in a toolbar is excellent, but the floating toolbar is so annoying because it is on top of the content of the opened document. It would be better if we could customise where the toolbar should be and have the ability to dock it without it so it is not on top of the content.
Older versions of Adobe Acrobat Pro allowed it to be on the top horizontally, which used to work perfectly for me. Please let users decide how best to interact with Adobe Acrobat Pro.24 votes
