  1. Horizontal Ruler Covers Top of First Page in Single Page Continuous Page Layout

    Software: Adobe Acrobat Pro, Continuous Release, Version 2023.003.20180 (New Acrobat)

    OS: MacOS 15.0.1

    To Reproduce the Issue: Open a multi-page PDF document with content at the very top of the first page. Set the page layout to Single Page Continuous. Toggle rulers on and off, and notice that the horizontal ruler overlays the very top of the PDF document, blocking the content at the top of the page from view. Also, try scrolling up with rulers on, and notice that the user cannot scroll up the document enough to display the portion go the document covered by the horizontal ruler.

  3. "Ask AI Assistant" persistently blocks content on the bottom of the page.

    Any time I am foolish enough to move my mouse near the bottom of an Adobe document, a little bar that says "ask AI assistant" comes up. Often, it takes some time to make it go away again.
    If I wanted to find an AI assistant, I wouldn't be looking by putting my mouse near the bottom of the page. If you must have such a doodad, put it in the menu structure with everything else so that it isn't in my way.
    Also, help information about how to get rid of "features" like this is difficult to use because…

  4. Bookmarks and page numbers overwritten when replacing pages in PDF

    Workflow that causes issue: I have a PDF book with multiple chapters. Each chapter starts as a PDF generated from InDesign with bookmarks (generated by a table contents) for the different sections in that chapter and a particular, chapter-specific page numbering scheme, e.g. the twelfth page of Section 2C becomes page "2C-12," the fifth page of section 3B becomes page "3B-5," etc. I start by combining all the chapter PDFs into a single full-document PDF. So far so good. The bug occurs when a chapter has been revised, a new chapter PDF has been generated from InDesign, and the pages…

  5. The new interface is awful. Bring back the old one.

    The new interface is awful. I would go into detail but that says it all. Everything I use Adobe for is now more clicks, less efficient. I want to go back to the old version and there doesn't appear to be an option. Fix this Adobe. I hate the new interface and so do my coworkers. I mostly use Adobe to combine, edit, sign, and organize files. Everything I have done so far was worse than it was before with no advantages.

  6. Word Add-On for mailmerge not accepting { next }

    1) Open the Program.docx file
    2) Attach the program.xlsx as mail merge source
    3) in the mail merge tab click the Adobe PDF icon

    An error is reported for the { NEXT } mail-merge macro

  11. How to Convert MBOX to PST?

    To convert MBOX to PST, use a specialized email conversion tool like Sysinfo MBOX to PST Converter. Install and launch the tool, then select the MBOX file you want to convert. Follow the on-screen instructions to preview and then export the MBOX data to PST format.   14. Please make “Print in grayscale (black and white)” work

    Please make “Print in grayscale (black and white)” work in the next continuous release version of Adobe Acrobat for 64-bit computers.

    The fact that it does not work now has wasted a lot of precious color ink for a lot of people. Perhaps enough to add up to a class action lawsuit. Or Adobe could maybe head that off by proactively sending $1.00 checks to all currently registered users.

  19. Adobe Acrobat Pro pop ups appear to interfere with functioning

    Pop ups asking whether I want to reopen closed pdfs (No.) and so on appear to interfere with functioning. Today, opening a PDF I just wanted to do a quick "find" for a word in a pdf: I'd start to type the word I want to find, and then one of the annoying pop ups came up and the program froze - I couldn't finish typing the word I had started. I hoped that restarting the program would allow me to access the application without the pop ups - nope. I tried 3 times and can't do a simple "find".
