Bug - "Always display document page size" is broken in Acrobat.
With the addition of AI features in Acrobat, the ability to permanently display the size no longer works. For weeks I could not see the size of PDFs and could not figure out why. I found out that by turning the feature off you can go back to dragging your mouse to the bottom left to see the size. This only works if you are zoomed out enough to have a border around the document. When the feature is enabled it is impossible to see the size. Message box loses superscript formatting, changes it to subscript
There are already other notes. I add that the change occurs as soon as you choose "Post" -- the correct superscript continues to appear in the pop-up message box, but the entry in the comments sidebar posts IMMEDIATELY with subscripted version. See the .jpg image for this effect as snipped at the moment it occurred.

Debloat plugins through understandable and accessible settings
Over the last updates lags and freezes increased (tho I own quite a submarine as PC). I'm not entirely sure, but I see the plugins as possible reason, while renaming a number of them in the plugins directory gives Acrobat more power and speed back.
Why not make a "plugin" section similar to MS Office where plugins can be activated and deactivated (and stay after updates too)? Perhaps not so many people use Dropbox for example or don't make exzessive usage of the accessibility features - others may not deal with pre-print environment. Acrobat Pro defaults to Fill/Sign instead of eSign when trying to request esignatures.
FIX THE DESKTOP APP! Acrobat Pro defaults to Fill/Sign, detects automatic fields and will not allow us to send esignature documents. It just spins indefinitely and I have to close multipe AcroCEF processes to get back to the beginning. Using Print to PDF to "flatten" the pdf also is not working. Telling us to just go online is also short cited. FIX THE APP!

Read Aloud Skipping Repeated Words in Alt Text
After creating accessible documents in Word and importing to Adobe PDF, the Read Aloud feature would only speak the first instance of a word in image Alt Text, repeated words were skipped. Are there any solutions to this?

Minor edits needed after signatures received (dates on expense reports).
We need to be able to correct minor items after we have received electronic signatures. We need to change a 8 to 6 in a date. Nothing major...all minor. Sometimes editing works and other times it does not. When clicking on an item, system will highlight entire row. I don't need the entire row highlighted...I need the date highlighted.

Signature request missing
I use to have, in the edit / options toolbar, the option to request signatures from the desktop (PC) app. Since last month it doesn't appear anymore, and if it sometimes does, clicking on it does NOTHING.
Super frustrating as I now have to create my agreements and access them via the browser app to send - huge waste of time. This has been reported since June now and still no improvement! Do we get a refund for the months it's not been working? Or do we all start using Google for everything? Please sort!1 vote -

Acrobat prevents sleep on Windows after "Edit Using... Adobe Photoshop"
In version 2026.001.21691 of Acrobat, a new bug has occurred which prevents Windows 10 machines from sleeping. Once you have chosen, “Edit Using . . . Adobe Photoshop,” the computer will no longer sleep until Acrobat is completely closed. Closing Photoshop has no impact on the bug.
The Windows powercfg utility reports that it is msedgewebview2.exe which is preventing the sleep:

Custom workflows - make amending the document name a mandatory requirement
Currently when using a custom workflow you are given the ability to amend the Document Name once the workflow has been opened but this is not a mandatory requirement. While not immediately a problem this does cause issues at a later date when using the search function as there are no identifying details in the document name and you can have hundreds which all say the exact same thing. If there was a requirement for this to be amended before submission it would save time and make the process of locating a particular document easier further down the line.

Disappearing Text once one click off the text box
Using the text box (which has it's own inherent errors often). Can see text, yay...and then click out of the box and it disappears. Open the edit screen and it shows it is there to edit. Go to where the text box is and click and the text appears, until you click out. SUCH a fantastic magic trick - however all I want is to see the text I have written in the box!
