  2. PDFs fail to display as attachment to WhatsApp chats; fail to display on the website of at least one of my banks; fail to open from the Cloud due to 'being already logged in" in another session.
    Fail to display on my iPhone, using Acrobat Pro. Message states that I need 'Acrobat Reader', etc, etc.
    I have a CC full sub and this is extremely frustrating. The reason I was induced to purchase CC was to avoid this kind of issues.
    Please help!

  4. Along with others I am horrified at the tragic mess the UX (yes, user experience) has become. The UI design is following the unfortunate trend of "unify everything" into a web/mobile topology that has been infecting applications for a while now.

    I had a well-developed workflow in Acrobat Pro, that the new & obnoxious UI design, that you shoved down my CPU's throat, broke. More than that, the usability of the new atrocity is a step back.

  7. I went to preferences - accessibility and then changed the colours of the text and background (black to white and white to black). It worked in the acrobat app because the colours really did change as I wanted. but then when both saving and exporting the pdf, it still looks the same. I want to view my pdfs in preview, not acrobat. So if this option doesn't actually change the pdf itself but just views it differently in the app, then it is useless.

  8. How to go back to the much, much better original menu system. The new one is like a complete paradigm shift. If that is how it worked, I would have never subscribed since it is unusable. Horrible.

This has happened in some variety in previous iterations of Acrobat; I went into organize pages and after the first reorder (I dragged page 5 into position 2) 4 pages appeared from a document I had created yesterday. I did no functions to import any items to the current document. I only wanted to delete 2 pages (starting # 2 and 3) and move the last page to be page 2 instead of page 5. The pdf that was inserted into my document wasn't even open.

  10. After I work with a few dozen files in a day, Adobe simply stops opening. You click on a file or the app itself and the cursor flickers once and nothing happens. The only way to get it working again is to restart the computer. Very inconvenient when you are logged into multiple business programs and have to log out of everything and shut down/restart in the middle of the day. Have checked for updates - nothing.

  11. The latest feature upgrade removed the ability to send a signed copy of a document ("copy to"). Now the only options available are signer and approver. The receiving party is neither a signer or an approver, so this has doubled my workflow and created an inefficiency. I now have to generate a second email with the signed copy to send to my recipient, separate from the signature process. PLEASE add this feature back. What you have done is NOT an improvement.

Accessibility remediation of PDFs is chewing up an inordinate amount of labor, and at present, the steps required to yield accessible PDFs from InDesign are at a ridiculously unrefined, fussy, deep-in-the-weeds stage. This seems like an ideal application for AI. PLEASE create an AI tool that can handle all of the picky details of PDF remediation. I'd love to be presented with a simple set of questions to define things like reading order (in Acrobat and InDesign), then just have the AI handle giving me a PDF that passes muster and works well with assistive tech.   13. The ability to send multiple documents to the same person/people for signature and receive them back as separate documents instead of one merged document. Or give us the ability to split the documents after they have been signed.

  14. I use dual 32" monitors for CAD. In version 2023-008-20470 this results is 8" of dead space on each side of a 8-1/2" x 11" PDF . While I like the smaller icons of the latest release, it is infuriating that I cannot place the toolbar, navigation pane, and page controls (Pg#, zoom, magnification, etc.) across the top where they would be most efficient to access in my situation. Their fixed positions on the sides of the screen might be acceptable to laptop users, but it is very inefficient on large monitors.

  16. What was the perceived problem with the old interface? Did any user testing go into the redesign? I feel sorry for the designers and developers who had to implement this overhaul, and I feel disdain for the leadership that must have driven the change. Middle management should push back harder against initiatives like this.

  18. I do tutorials and online courses, about accessibility among other things.
    I noted that the new interface has really confusing UX in Swedish.

    Very confusing terms have been chosen, compared to the old interface, and this causes real problems for learners.

    Also, the texts are inconsistent - please look att my pic in the enclosed file.

    I really hope to get an answer within short !

  19. I use adobe apps on multiple PC's, so I need to log in a lot.
    I understand why that's necessary to edit documents, but reading should not require a log in. That takes too much time when I just want to print a document.

    Basically, every feature that's available in Acrobat Reader should be available without logging in. And it should only prompt me to log in when I try to use more advanced features.

  20.  The new layout is so different than the old that it is hampering my productivity. I thought Adobe was supposed to help users, not take away all the features that I need to see immediately when I open a PDF.
     Specifically, I need page numbers and the page up and down arrows front and center. I still don't know how to find those. I need to see at a glance if I have time to read a 5 page or 105 page document.
     Don't hamper users. Make it easy again.
     Allow users -- and tell us how to do this
