1. want to be able to insert autotext

   I have a PDF that I have to add text that needs to be slightly edited for each form. I have to open the text in Word, make the changes and then block, copy and paste it into my form. Why can't we insert a standard text box in the way of autotext in Word.?

2. Delete default Actions List.

   I want to be able to remove the actions in the actions list that are available out of the box. I never, ever use them and I want the ones I use all the time to be the only ones available.

3. New Simplified Appearance

   Go back to the old layout appearance as this new one sucks. You have taken what once just lived in the old file menu bar, hen taken it and shifted repeatable functionalities to the right hand side bar in the previous "new layout", but this "new simplified" layout takes that and now gives you two side bars and almost no functional "settings" adjustments you can make all from one place. You have decentralized all the settings, options, and tools thus making it look more sparse but in actuality making it less simplified.

   Do better.

   Don't change the appearance and functionalities and call it simplified when you havemade it harder than just having everything in the top file menu bar.

   This is poor design, poor engineering, and lacklustre coding, and in keeping with Adobe's continual efforts to thwart actual usability without paying for functionality and use.

6. Feature request: OCR: allow user option to de-recognize something OCR erroneously recognized as text

   1) Open the attached file "a.pdf"
   2) Push "Scan & OCR"
   3) Push "Correct recognized text."
   The text window should look like the attached image "1.jpg". The 3 areas of recognized text are erroneous recognitions. One is a square angle denoting a corner of a page, the other two are dirty spots. The only thing I can do now is replace the recognized text with a space (" "). I suggest that a better option would be to add another button to the dialog box shown in the attached file "2.jpg." The button could be called "Remove recognition" or something along those lines. This would be the best way to deal with erroneous recognitions I believe.

7. Save & Print at the same time

   When selecting print to Adobe PDF, there should be an option to print a physical copy to the default printer at the same time as saving the document in a file location. This is a very common practice for many, and would save much time.

10. Color preview bug

    I just had the weirdest thing happen, as I was trying to solve this same problem. I tried all kinds of different ways to output my PDF and kept getting a mismatch in the color. I tried all kinds of different color settings in all my programs (InDesign, Photoshop, and Acrobat) and kept getting a mismatch. Finally I tried looking at Acrobat's Preferences. Under Page Display, I tried changing the transparency color blending space from RGB to CMYK, no change. I then tried changing the Overprint Preview to Always, no change. Then I tried, on a lark, changing the Smooth Text from For Laptop/LCD Screens to None. BINGO! Now, here's the weirdest thing: when I tried to change it back, the color did not go back to being wrong. It seems it's not a setting problem, it's a bug. Somehow I triggered it to display my colors correctly.

12. The new viewer is garbage

    You can on longer see the zoom level, or the pages. You have to do more clicks to do the same operations than before. It's terrible. Give people the option to revert back to the older better version. I'm going to use another PDF viewer in the mean time. I'm done with this one.

14. Last version of Adobe Acrobat (Aug. 8) crashing upon applying digital signature

    Since the update of Adobe Acrobat Pro / Reader on Aug. 8, the software crashes upon applying a digital signature on a specific form of mine. After JavaScript is done executing, the prompt for digital signature does not appear, and the software crashes. If under a specific case, I manage to reach the prompt for digital signature, and I would cancel, the software crashes. The signature can be applied only when the user follows specific steps, but it has to be done every time the signature must be applied. After uninstalling the latest version and reinstalling the previous version of Adobe Acrobat (July 11), the software works correctly and the signature prompts does not crash the software.

15. Why the Changes to Page Layouts

    Why do companies feel the need to constantly "improve" on the lay-out and appearance of an applicaiton that works great? I've noticed that many companies are changing the lay-out, appearance or style of their products. Adobe Reader recently underwent a change. Much of the same products are there, just moved to different locations on the page, making for 1) another learning curve 2) frustration as to why things changed. Don't "fix" what wasn't broken.

    The new UI doesn't show the full file name anywhere without having to hover over the tab even though there seems to be lots of available space.

17. Norwegian letters when converting PDF to word/excel

    My suggestion is that you add the norwegian letters "Æ Ø Å" so that when we convert norwegian documents from pdf to word/excel the letters are converted correctly.

18. Bug: posting a bug report via uservoice displays an error message

    Steps to reproduce:

    1. Be logged out of acrobat.uservoice.com
    2. Go to acrobat.uservoice.com and type up a bug report
    3. Submit bug report
    4. Log in to acrobat.uservoice.com and continue the submission process

    Expected result: bug report is submitted to the forum and a confirmation message is presented.

    Actual result: bug report is submitted to the forum, but an error message is displayed (see attachment).

19. Bug: Opening a document when using Apple Spaces does not work correctly

    Steps to reproduce:

    1. Be on an Apple Mac with one monitor (I'm currently on macOS 13.4.1c)
    2. Create two Apple Spaces
    3. In Space A, open PDF #1
    4. In Space B, open PDF #2

    Expected result: After step 3 Acrobat creates a new window in Space A that displays PDF #1, and after step 4 Acrobat creates a new window in Space B that displays PDF #2.

    Actual result: After step 4 Acrobat loads PDF #2 into the window in Space A that currently displays PDF #1 (bug #1), and then it tries and fails to switch to that Space, instead switching you to a new, previously non-existent space with no windows open (bug #2).

    Steps to reproduce:

20. unresponsive cursor

    The mouse cursor and some other functions are EXTREMELY SLOW to respond making the application practically unusable. It takes about 10 times longer to do anything because of this.

    I have to move my mouse to something and then hover for a couple of seconds before I can make the action I want to make.

    This seems like an intended thing as there's no lag, not waiting on processing, nothing like that - the cursor just isn't responsive, almost as if it were a safety feature.... but it is extremely annoying and I can't use this application in the current state.
