3. View Comments Highlight Color

   When I click the comment icon pointing to the spot on the pdf and look in the right hand comments column to see what the comment is, it is impossible to see what item is the one I just clicked on. There is a very faint grey background that is very hard to see. Can you make it more obvious which comment is the one I clicked on?

4. It would be helpful if Acrobat Pro Create PDF feature has .vsdx format supported to convert multiple Visio files in pdf and combine.

   In create Pdf feature we have multiple formats supported to convert into pdf and combine however for visio files we have only .vsd format available but not .vsdx. kindly add .vsdx visio format also in supported list of file formats it would be helpful for visio drawings to get convert and combine in single pdf file.

5. Allow fillable forms to be marked as a "template".

   Request:
   A Microsoft Word document can be either a .docx or .dotx, the difference is that when saving the .docx, the file is overwritten; when saving the .dotx, a new file is created. I propose a similar feature for PDFs.

   Use Case:
   I've created a fillable PDF and saved it as a PDF to a network share and SharePoint. People have the tendency to open it, fill it out (as they should) and then click save (or Ctrl-S, muscle memory). That commits those filled form fields to the file system such that the next person who opens the file now sees a filled-out form.

   I would like to do something to the file so that "Save" doesn't work. For example, if the file extension were .pdft, and I opened it, it could behave the same as any other .pdf. However, when I chose to save the file, a compliant program would recognize that the preference is to create a new file, not overwrite the existing file.

   Context:
   I propose a file extension change instead of metadata in the file because it is much easier, and doesn't require the PDF standards consortium to get involved. A non-compliant program would just overwrite the file as usual. This means that any PDF program could open a .pdft file simply by, in Windows, right-click, open with, and choosing whatever program; they would see no functional difference. However, a compliant program would make the default save operation require a new file name.

   Such a convention would also be very easy for PDF tools made by other companies to implement more quickly promoting this convention.

8. Textfield custom JS get lost under windows

   OS: Windows 10
   Acrobat Pro DC v2022.002.20191 | 64 bit

   Steps to reproduce:
   - open a PDF form with custom JS for textfield calculations
   - activate form tools
   - select a textfield and open properties / calculation
   - JS is at the custom field (bottom)
   - close the dialoge window
   - repeat it with other textfield (open/close)
   - repeat it with the first textfield
   - (optional) repeat it multiple times

   observed result: with a ~50% chance the (saved) JS code is gone
   expected result: JS code should be not deleted

   looks like a windows problem, no problems on MAC so far!

   OS: Windows 10

11. Defective eSign Process

    Here's why there was a problem that consumed an inordinate amount of time today. I could not enter my Adobe password to eSign. Using your Tech Support's suggestion of configuring a new eSignature, I had to enter an Apple password. I did so. When I attempted to eSign I ran into the same problem using my Adobe digital signature password. THEN, I used my Apple password and got in. Adobe is guilty of requiring an Apple password but not specifying that. Please get the Adobe website software fixed to give the correct prompt. Your BS password process below won't work either. You need a conservatorship.

12. Get Font information in JavaScript

    Please provide a function in the JavaScript Doc methods to get the Font Family/ font size of the nthWord on a page.

    For context, I'm using an action to replace text with a new value via Redactions, ideally, I'd like to be able to font-match the Redaction with the font-family/size of the original text, so that the replacement isn't obvious. Currently, I'm having to use font-size 0 which can be hit or miss depending on the line-size vs font-size, and what font was originally used.

13. Features not being used in the last x days

    Much like another feature being requested, I would like to see a breakdown in the Admin console of not just licenses allocated or used, but also when they were last used.

    For example, do I have a user that just opens/reads PDF's all day and doesn't need Standard DC, or do I have a user that isn't using all the features of Pro and could be downgraded to Standard?

    We have close to 3,000 users of Adobe products, it is going to be a tedious pain in my rump if I have to automate the removal of ALL the installed Adobe products and wait for users to request adding them back.......users will be unhappy, and so will the support team.

    If we are forced to go through this pain, then we have to look at a project to getting a better solution together for the bank.

14. custom settings

    Just got Adobe Pro DC this week. Try as I might, I can't set Custom Settings for following reoccurring Scanning to OCR needs. 1. paper size, 2. Black & White, 3. Feeder - Multi-page. Currently, after each page, I have to go and select 1. scan another page, 2. set Black & What, 3. Page Size, etc. there should be a way that I can place up to 25-50 pages in my feeder, set to scan and then step away from the scanner, My Adobe 8 Professional, which I used for more than 10 years successfully, allowed me to do this. So far, even after doing Adobe Pro DC "Help", "Adobe Help" and "Google" searches I cannot find anything showing if or how to do this. This should be a mandatory or required option on this software. Business people can't just sit by scanner waiting for the "Scan another page" selection and then reset everything again. Unproductive waste of time.

15. DOC ROTATION NOT SAVING

    Using Organize Pages to rotate document and it will not save the document right side up. It keeps reverting back to the original even though it says it's saving it. I use Adobe Acrobat Standard DC every day for work.

16. Feature request - Give the user the option to choose default tool to be Arrow/Selection or Hand/Pan

    It should be clear with the countless posts of users wanting the default to be the Hand Tool and others wanting the default to be the Selection Tool.

    In both cases, there has been countless work arounds and fixes to make it work one way or another. Since this latest update none of the fixes appear to be working now and it seems everyone is forced into having Selection as the default.

    Simple feature request - have a Preference setting to select your default tool - Hand/Pan or Arrow/Select.

    We statistically analyze the binary Acrobat.exe, and find several potential Null Pointer Dereference problems due to missing null check.

    We mark these problems with the corresponding disassemble code address and pseudo code of IDA in the uploaded pdf.

19. Adobe Pro DC hangs in Monterey OS and is unusable

    I have just upgraded to Monterey and Adobe Pro DC hangs within 2-3 seconds (whirly) and needs to be closed using Force Quit....the error report is massive.....at present the app is not usable in any way....
