Scaling & font size
Use the OS settings on font size and scaling in dialog boxes, menus, etc within the desktop app. For users with vision challenges, it can be difficult to read the menus and dialog boxes within the application. zoom settings are easy to adjust within documents. Users should be able to read the text within the application too.

The pen feature doesn't work well. It autocorrects and makes the handwriting look bad. The erase also works poorly.

stop the popups
I just opened Acrobat, and it gave me another "look what's new" popup. Every time it does this it freezes for a good minute. I have three new computers, the one I am using is a i7 12th gen 1280, with 32 mb of ram. So, not a slow computer by any means, and yet this mild distraction is very frustrating, especially for power users, who are the ones who are going to recommend your products. Automatically open page thumbnails view when inserting pages
I have to drag and drop alot of pages between pdfs. I keep forgetting to open the page thumbnails view in the new pdf before dragging selected pages to the new pdf. I have to stop go back, open pages thumbnail and then redrag the pages, which is unnecessary. If I hover over the page thumbnails icon in the new pdf with selected pages, it should just open in my opinion.

Although functionality is important, many users use the program simply to view PDF files. Highlighter tool needs major improvement
The highlighter tool is horrible. Sometimes it recognizes text, sometimes it doesn't. I personally want to be able to freehand highlight whenever I want, and be able to switch to text highlight if i decide to. Instead, it just chooses for me and there is no way to fix it. In the google chrome extension it works, theres an option, but on the actual desktop app there is no option. That is insane and ridiculous.

Highlight section of text to “speak"
The phone app allows for a specific section of text to be “read aloud” or “speak”. This feature is great on the phone, but for whatever reason does not work on a computer. The current “read aloud” feature is pretty awful, and only allows an entire document to be read, or the current page. As a student this does not meet my need. Connect reading order to heading tags
The Reading Order tool ought to be able consult the Tags for how to prioritize content. It seems like a no-brainer that a tag identified as an H1 should be at the top of the page. But the Reading Order loves to put H1 content at the bottom of the page. These all have to be repositioned manually, page by page. Waste of time that seems like an easy software fix.
I tried to attached one example page, but this page did not accept my file.
