  1. Could not activate Adobe Acrobat Pro 2017 on macOS Catalina 10.15.3

    Operating System: macOS Catalina 10.15.3
    Adobe Acrobat Pro 2017 Release: 2017.011.30158

    Steps to reproduce:
    1. Installed Adobe Acrobat Pro 2017 on macOS Catalina 10.15.2 in January
    2. Upgrade that mac to 10.15.3
    3. Got a new laptop and transfer all applications from old one to new one
    4. Upgrade the new laptop's macOS to 10.15.3 as well
    5. Try to open Adobe Acrobat Pro 2017
    6. Acrobat Pro 2017 request signing in
    7. Click on "Sign in Now"
    8. Window titled "Acrobat Licensing Application" appears with blank content
    9. Waited for hours and nothing is going on

  2. move file to dialog, is not showing my other folders besides the scan folder

    I have a couple folders setup on my document cloud. Total of 3. Scans, Personal, Work.

    On Acrobat DC Pro, the move file dialog only lists my scan folder, no options to move back a directory.. (Bad)
    On Acrobat WEB interface,the move file dialog lists all 3 folders. (Good)
    On Acrobat Mobile interface, the move file dialog allows me to move back a directory to select my other folders. (OK)

    *This is when trying to move a document from my scans folder to another location.

  3. No longer able to email a document as an attachment

    I seem to be unable to share a document in an email as an attachment, only as a link. This is very frustrating for people receiving. Can it please be set up so that they have the document as an attachment as well?

    I very strongly dislike the fact that I have to enter my password just to view an Adobe document. It is highly annoying.

  6. BUG: "hidden" property of form field

    When creating a form field in an editable PDF, applying the "hidden" property for the field renders it uneditable, not invisible. I've created several forms, and just recently had this happen, and all of my other previously created forms that have hidden fields are now opening with visible fields.

  7. Be able to adjust width of Tools Pane by selecting the frame and moving it left or right. (Acrobat Standard DC 20.006.20034)

    Most GUI based applications allow the end user to adjust width of a page by grabbing the frame and moving it left or right.

    In my specific case, I am editing forms and the Tools pane shows the field names, which is nice, but I have to scroll the window to read the full names. There is a scroll bar on the bottom but this reduces the utility of the feature.

  8. Put dates on these requests and the responses so people can understand when they were done?

  9. no reason to change the layout. frustrating and a waste of time.

    the edit tools are different. we use these in our business and expect them to look a certain way. there is no reason to have moved the icons OR the look of edits. not happy!

  10. save and save as function

    save and save not working

    File >save > and you get a empty window with no function or options.

    when you try to use the save or save as function from the menu you have an empty window with no functions or options so you cannot save. I trick the system by doing a reduce file.... Mac OS Mojave 10.14.06 it is annoying.

  13. Can no longer compare two different PDF documents on different screens

    The new update is a major down grade because all PDFs open in the same display. I have the need to view two different PDF documents on different screens, but Adobe does not support this activity in the currently configured system.

  16. Adobe Acrobat DC crashes on Mac when triple-click one word to look up using Mac Dict app

    1. Open a pdf file using Adobe Acrobat Pro DC
    2. find a word, and triple-click the touchpad.
    3. An error message pop up saying: there was a raise without a handler. The application will now exit.
    4. The Adobe Acrobat DC crashes.

    Env: Mac OS 10.15.3/Adobe Acrobat Pro DC

    Expected: can look up the word with Mac's dict app.

    Observed: Adobe Acrobat Pro DC crashes.

  17. Acrobat DC features inferior to Acrobat Pro, Acrobat 11 and every previous version

    I could've chosen several categories, creating, PDFs, editing PDFs, viewing PDFs, every feature of Acrobat DC is inferior to 11 and frankly all previous versions of Acrobat Pro. As a publisher who has used Acrobat Pro every day, all day for well over a decade, I am so disappointed and frustrated with this version, It is dumbed down and has several serious bugs that cause issues during a document publishing process. Please scrap this version and bring back Acrobat 11 which functioned 100% better than DC.

  18. Adobe Protect Security Features are Disabled when opening with Chrome PDF Viewer

    When implementing all Adobe/Protect security features to prevent printing, copying, or editing a secured pdf, the PDF can still be edited, copied or printed when opened by the Chrome Document Previewer. With the print option reenabled in the previewer, you can print the secured document as a PDF and save to a file directory and upon opening the saved copy, all security policies have been removed. After discovering this, I researched to see if there was an oversight on my part and stumbled across an article on WikiHow titled, "How to Unlock a Secure PDF File" which outlines a similar…

  19. Give option for Two-Page View on Shared pdfs

    I design large catalogs that need to be proofed by 40+ reviewers. Individual reviewers need to be able to print out their pages as 8.5x11, but the supervisors need to be able to view the document as 2 page spreads so they can see how the document visually flows. This isn't an option when I send them proofs using Share. Share only permits single page view. Outputting a separate proof as a spread is a cumbersome workaround. The proofers should have options on whether they view Shared pdfs as Single Page View or Two Page View.

  20. Overhaul

    Nothing in Acrobat DC feels natural or with a glimpse of intuitive. Adobe tends to override OS given interface interaction limiting it to its Adobe application which is by itself insanely unintuitive. I mean who drove you [the engineering team] to this Interface? Ugly, bloated and counterproductive, not to mention the lack of customization. But this is a path clearly visible in all Adobe applications. Either Adobe reduces its Applications to nearly zero (Lightroom = the *** Cloud version for Desktop) or bloating it until needlessness (Illustrator).
    It just creates anger and hate to the one that must accept working…
