   The "This appears to be a long document. Save time by reading a summary." banner is disrespectful and a disgrace. My document only had 6 pages and this popped-up. How you shove AI tools in our faces has gone beyond all dignity. Also, this banner "eats up" monitor space and therefore my document is displayed smaller than it could have been! Add an option inside preferences to prevent this banner from appearing.

It may sound straightforward, but keeping the balance between these tasks so that you don't hit anything demands complete focus and rapid reactions.    There are 33 levels in space waves, and they become harder as you go. The levels are split by colorful emoticons, with simple levels for novices and hard levels that only experienced players can beat. 6. Remove Get Started Box (Not Pop-Up)

   I recently installed Adobe Acrobat and found a small, persistent box that lives in the bottom-left corner of the application window. It's labeled "Get Started" and indicates it is a 5 step process. This is not a pop-up, or a separate window, or something that comes and goes. It's a permanent box affixed to the bottom-left (e.g., underneath the list of Tools if Tools is being viewed in the left-hand panel).

   I completed all of the steps except the last one, which involves getting Acrobat on your mobile device. Long story short, I could not complete this step. But there is no way to hide, close, or otherwise remove this box.

   I found that by disabling "New Acrobat" and then re-enabling it, the box went away. I'm happy that it's gone, but it shouldn't have required the level of effort it took to figure out this solution. I'm hoping Adobe will simply add an 'X' to this box so you can close it if you want.

7. Allow users to select features to install instead of installing on first use

   Users should be presented with a list of features that they want to install so that they are available when needed instead of having to wait for the feature to install when first used. This is infuriating when you are on a deadline and management is screaming for you to hurry up. Also, the notification is too small and can be easily overlooked making the user believe that the app is just broken. Finally, the notification states that you will be notified when installation is complete, but I have never seen a notification in the several times I've installed a feature. So either the notification never happened, or there is no guidance of where to look for the notification. While I'm at it, there seems to be duplication in the UI. Several times I have checked a preference only to have a different UI prompt me for the same preference

   Respectfully requesting the consideration of creating an Adobe PDF function that allows us to use CTRL-F or Advanced Search to find & mark all pages WITHOUT certain content.

   This would be a great help for medical record verifications when trying to find all pages that DO NOT contain the patient’s SSN so it can be annotated.
   A feature like this would make military operations as well as hospital operations much more efficient as it would not just be isolated to SSN's but case-numbers or serial numbers just as well. Something as simple as an exclude checkbox to hide pages containing the found content or alternatively a way to highlight all pages that do not contain the content being searched for would genuinely be a great help.

10. Annotations break lists

    Bug exporting from Word using Acrobat: If an ordered list contains an annotation AND that annotation appears in the first text run after a page break, there are problems. The Reading Order looks good, but the Tags Tree shows repeated text, ignores text following the annotation, and also does not always include the annotation.

    A judicial order is essentially an ordered list. A footnote or other hyperlink in the text can create a PDF that cannot (easily) be remediated for digital accessibility. Fixing the view in the tags tree can be done fairly easily, but then content in the Order view gets repeated. Getting both reading and tags order correct seems to have been proven to be impossible in most circumstances.

    All judicial documents created in the United States courts need to be digitally accessible by spring of 2026. This really needs to be addressed and fixed as soon as possible.

    Attached: proof of concept plus an example order. ALL names and places have been changed, and it's only an incomplete draft anyway.

17. Mac VS iPad app

    So, I don't do this often, but when I do it's a MAJOR annoyance! The iPad app does not have a lot of the features that the downloaded version has. So it's great that I can do stuff on the road or on site but EACH TIME I have to redo the entire document! Small things like the font is all wrong are very annoying. I will save my my templates to the cloud and then I have to change all the fonts for my iPad because it doesn't come with that default font that the downloaded (DL) version has.
    Additionally many common features that the DL version has are quite a hassle to make work on the app. For instance adding a blank page, files or pictures to a document. If the app was made more similar to the DL version that would increase its uses significantly!

18. Making Adobe acrobat actually work would be a start!

    I HAVE to use Adobe Acrobat as I frequently need to mark up pdf files for editing. I pay for the professional version. This is the most frustrating and useless software I have even encountered. It crashes numerous times, gets stuck in odd routines to "prepare files for editing"; this software is making me very unproductive purely because of its bugginess. Really odd 'feature' on comment markup when adding things in superscript, where it then places them in subscript (absolute shambles to mark things up for typesetters when the software does this!!). I've been gnashing my teeth for several years and today it has reached an epic proportion of utter uselessness and has taken me 2 hours to do something that should take 30 mins max. Please update your product so that it actually does the basics of pdf markup (highlight and comment on figure files is ALL I need to do - it's not complicated) - what am I paying for each month?!
