  2. This issue has existed since I became in Accessibility professional 15 years ago. I'm sick of it. In order to pass PDFUA standards, bullets must be tagged separately as <Lbl>. When you convert a document to a PDF using pdfmaker, the bullets are not tagged. I then have to manually tag them, or use autotag. Related to this - why can autotag recognize and tag bullets, but pdfmaker cannot? Such an old, frustrating problem. C'mon Adobe.

  3. 30 page document. Zoom into a table on a page.
    Select Print | More options | Current view .... can't - its greyed out???!

    This document is well over 10 years old, and has never caused an issue with all prior versions of reader. Does improving the software mean a reduction in capability and a marked increase in advertising guff in Adobe language?

    Disabled new Adobe.
    Opened document.
    Printed view as expected, no issues.

    Regression test the rubbish you write and don't release it to your customers until it is at least as stable as what you replace.

  4. We would like to be able to modify the Menu drop-down options so the iManage buttons are not buried as a sub-menu under Plugins. Creating a specific iManage option under Menu or a separate tab would both work. We just need to make these menu items more visible for the users.

    We knows some tools like https://www.topview.ai can generate video in a few click, with only user input few words, AI can do rest of work. Can Acrobat do this for us?

  6. We are a design firm and site plans come in where the building orientation isn't in landscape or portrait mode since not all roads are in grid pattern. It's crazy that we pay thousands for Adobe and it can't do custom rotate. ADD CUSTOM ROTATE ANGLE TO ADOBE ACROBAT.

  7. Support for file type CSV for creating Watermarks from Edit Tool>Watermark>Add> Add Watermark settings>Source>File
    CSV used to be supported but was removed at some point
    • Case ID: E-001192073
    • Case Title: Unable to select Excel file in the Action wizard while adding an action for Watermark.
    Wolud be desireable when having to apply multiple different watermarks to the same pdf & save as new file name using Action Wizard.

  8. Submitting a bug at ghostscript's request

    The pdf in attachment (page5_gs) fails to open in Acrobat DC.

    However, upon opening the pdf with Adobe Acrobat, I encountered an error message indicating that the document has an issue, and a significant portion of the page's content is missing. Interestingly, page 5 functions perfectly when I open source_document.pdf with Adobe Acrobat.

    It's important to note that this issue only occurs with Adobe software; page5.pdf opens correctly with Chrome-based browsers and Mozilla Firefox.

  9. This is in regard to the new look of Adobe Acrobat. I changed my view back to the older version. My suggestion is to leave the toolbar and include a popup tip that tells how to turn it off. I spent an hour trying to find the toolbar, how to turn it on. I tried customize, several different options. I tried using AI and it said there was no option to do that. Thank you for the opportunity to interact
    When I googled the question, there appeared to be many other users with the same challenge

  10. The latest update to the e-signature feature lacks the ability to automatically replicate the 'initial' field across all pages. This functionality was readily available in the previous version with a simple button click. The absence of this feature renders the e-signature process highly inefficient for businesses, as it now necessitates the manual insertion of initials on each page.

  11. Should allow the user to save the receipient name and email, so that do not required to re-key the receipient name and email address when sent document for signature.

  12. When I get to the e-signatures, I enter the emails and click for the next step.....it starts to download the document and stalls at 72% and won't go any further. What is wrong and how can I fix it?

    I'm using Adobe Pro which I just got and not sure how to use it yet.

  13. Printing is almost none exsistant from Adobe since the last and most recent update. I have had nothing but issues since the previous update. I hoped this lastest would resolve and no I think its worse.

  14. From the desktop version of Adobe for Mac, I cannot save any files. Save and Save as bring up a completely black screen. I have to make roundabout efforts to save anything. It is very frustrating. Please address promptly.

  16. We are supporting a real time product that needs only the Acrobat Reader DC as one of its components.
    No new "cool features" and "enhancements" like "collaborations" are required.
    Adobe updates were turned OFF and no problems.
    Then Adobe hacked each of the installations with its "updates".
    We cannot replace the Adobe Acrobat Reader.

    1) How to block/remove "collaboration" and the Adobe Acrobat Reader "updates" for ever?

    2) If hacking someone's System considered to be unethical and illegal - why ignoring the "No Update" option and forcefully pushing the undesired updates is ethical ?

  17. I notice A LOT of posts on this forum...funny, not a single posted response from any Adobe PM or Engineer, nor have I noticed any changes to the complaints folks post here...it's almost like they could care less what we think, say, or do...almost like Microsoft.

  18. We have noted a bug with Acrobat Cloud version as the document timstamp no longer seems to be handle or recognized properly. Please see the word document with the captures of the output in the desktop version (windows) versus cloud version (Chrome). I'm also attaching the doc with the document.

    The outcome should be same in cloud as in desktop.

    If there is a problem with the document timestamp format, we would like to know what is wrong has this was supported before.

  19. Please, merge your read aloud software with Speechify. your software is better with pronunciation but speechify has voices that I prefer. Also, cannot find read aloud in the new version of Acrobat... where is it?

  20. When requesting an E-signature = Acrobat should add a column to save the email address while requesting signatures as a contact so that the person automatically selects and adds the email and name automatically
