  1. Optimizing PDF - Software Constantly Crashing

    Optimizing a large scanned document results in the software repeatedly crashing. This is a basic function. How can you justify charging a monthly fee for software that cannot perform the basic tasks it warrants it can perform?

  2. Mozilla Firefox since v127.0 cannot install anymore the Adobe Acrobat Pro extension (adobe_acrobat-1.0-windows.xpi) file

    Tested on more then one PC: The Adobe Acrobat Pro extension (the adobe_acrobat-1.0-windows.xpi file) cannot be installed anymore in the Mozilla Firefox web browser and it always gives an error message upon its installation: "This add on could not be installed because it appears to be corrupt".

  3. Annoying floating toolbar

    How have your conceptors come to think that this unremovable floating toolbar would be a good idea!?! I really don't find where it can be deactivated. All I find on the web is getting back to old version software... Really?

  4. Remove "Create" Button On Top Menu Bar

    Please go back to the old interface! Or let us customize where all the buttons are located and if we want them to show at all. The new "Create" button on the top bar next to the document tabs takes up so much space and is so sensitive that if I have more than 3 documents open at once, I can't move the window around on the screen. You can only click to the right of the tabs to drag the window on your screen and now there's a big create button and 4 icons that don't really need to…

  5. Automatic Sending of Monthly Invoices to Email

    Of the more than 30 "online" subscriptions our company pays monthly, Adobe is the only one that does not provide a monthly invoice to a email inbox. It has been widely accepted in the industry that monthly "subscriptions" are now the new norm for software. The VERY least a company can do is provide an invoice receipt to the user's inbox on a monthly basis. Not doing so creates an inconvenience and alienates your user base.

    PLEASE provide a monthly invioce copy sent directly to the user's preferred email address.

  6. Choose My Own Font Size

    When I prepare a form (Mac), I want to be able to choose the font size for all the text fields instead of having it default to Auto. I also want to be able to batch change font size in multiple text fields instead of having to do it one by one. Thanks for listening!

  7. Hide top right Icons in toolbar

    The sharing, feedback, tutorial and notifications icons in the top right don't seem to have a way to hide them and free up the real estate for more useful icons. The is especially important when using a single monitor with two documents side by side. I need to be able to see the page forward and back buttons

  8. Unrestricted Adobe Acrobat AI Assistant

    Dear team,

    Ruud Elmendorp here, an international news correspondent. Took AI Assistant to use it in my research, but once I load reports that mention violence or hate speech, the AI stops. This is understandable, but many of the reports that I am scrutinising have violence and hate speech since they cover conflicts. Can we have an unrestricted version for journalists and researchers? Have attached documents that could not be processed by the AI

  11. OCR Fraktur and Gothic Font Recognition

    OCR is terrible at recognizing non-Roman fonts, such as Gothic or Fraktur fonts. I anticipate the same is true for older cursive fonts like Kurrentschrift. Given other organizations' capabilities to conduct OCR on these fonts, particularly at BSB-München, this should be patched in by the development team so that Fraktur fonts can be read by Adobe OCR. This would vastly increase the accessibility of these texts, to the point even of allowing people unfamiliar with the original language to put it through translation engines for a working understanding of what the text is saying.   13. Wrong Fonts since update to Version 2024.002.21005

    Since the last update to the mentioned Version, many of our pdfs are displayed with strange font settings.

    See the attached file. (I had to black out the document.)

    Around 160 PCs do have these problems in our Company.
    Other PDF Viewers are working like expected. The Problem only occours in adobe acrobat reader.

    So, i dont find any possiblilty in adobe acrobat reader to change the default font.
    So how can we fix this problem?

  15. Cannot save a "Certified Copy" after signing a document

    Signed a document with a scanned signature. Then want to save "Certified Copy'.
    That consistently produces an error " An error occured while uploading ..." See screenshot below.
    No additional messages are provided - therefore I have no idea what is happening - expecting a bug or problems with account.

  16. Recognition of Indian Language OCR

    The idea is not new, but the gravity is certainly very heavy.

    Acrobat being so popular, wonder how its OCR is so inferior that it cannot recognise any of the Indian Languages?

    It's even more intriguing when many free softwares like tesseract and professional software like Google Vision can do with ease. These software do their job for years now.

    Wonder what's holding Acrobat and Adobe back in catching up with them.

  19. [BUG] Function "Fill&Sign" cant handle huge amounts of characters

    I would like to inform you about a bug/problem in the "Fill and Sign" function in Adobe Reader. I assume that the problem affects the entire product line. Every installation is likely to be affected, you can reproduce the problem yourself

    The problem was identified in several versions of Abobe Reader, on 20+ computers, in different companies. Also in the free and PRO versions.

    The following problems occur:

    1.) Main problem: When entering a lot of text using the Fill&Sign function, Abobe Reader starts to lag extremely, and the use of the Fill and Sign function is no longer possible.…
