1. Bug - Organize Pages: Split Pages

   When splitting pages with the new update, I have to reselect my options to use the bookmark names as the file names and split by bookmarks multiple times before it will actually perform the feature. It always defaults back to Split by Number of Pages, and after reconfirming my selection will split it with the file name Add Label and Number after Original Name Option. It takes a couple tries to even get the document to split, and a couple more to get it to correctly split with the requested name - this was never an issue before the update and having to jump through multiple hoops just to break up the document has become ridiculous.

   Acrobat Quit unexpectedly whenever thumbnails are being created by Windows Explorer. This has been happing every since the Sept windows update it appears. I have uninstalled, cleaned with Adobe cleaner, removed all traces, etc full reinstall. Fairly fresh Windows 11.

3. Find and Replace to edit comments

   It would be great to be able to batch edit comments in the Comments pane. For example, to use the Search function and find all comments with something like a common spelling error or incorrect text, then use a Find and Replace function across all the found comments to replace the text with new text.

4. Highlighting Issue

   I am not able to remove a highlighted text in the new version.Please solve my issue.I tried multiple times using the standard procedure of

   "single-click on the area of highlighted text you wish to remove.
   A small toolbox will appear with two options, allowing you to change the color of your highlight or delete the highlight altogether.
   To remove your highlight, click the trash can icon."

   I tried this multiple times-but not working.

5. Empty left pane in new version

   In the new version, there is an empty pane on the left side that I cannot collapse. This makes it difficult when editing and trying to reference another document in the same screen. Overall, I don't really care for the new version. Please make it less awkward, Adobe.

7. Unable to edit objects

   I created this PDF from blank page in Acrobat and now I am unable to edit the images in this file. It can't be selected using bounding box. I believe this is a bug.

8. Issue splitting document by bookmarks

   Since the latest Adobe update, I haven't been able to split a PDF by bookmarks and have it save the file names as the bookmark names. I have an Imac with an Intel chip (bought it right before the switchover) and Big Sur. To reproduce, I go to tools, click organize pages, click split, click split by Top Level Bookmarks, click Output Options and select Use bookmark for filenames, then click OK. When I click OK, the Split menu underneath the split options menu disappears, so I can then click "Split" to execute the split. When I reopen the toplevel "Split" menu in the tools section, all options have been reset.

9. Dynamic stamps in Adobe Cloud

   Do you intend to develop the possibility to apply dynamic stamps directly from Adobe Cloud rather than from Adobe Acrobat DC or Reader in order to avoid extra manipulations ?

10. Bug Report: Organize pages / split

    When I go to split pages / split by top level bookmarks and then select output options I select Use Bookmark names for file names and go ahead and select then the folder I would like this issued as.
    The first error, I select OK, and immediately exits me out of the split screen.
    The second error, I go back have to select ALL the same output options I originally selected/entered and despite what I enter it ALWAYS outputs add label and number after original name and into the folder where the file originally was selected at start.

    NOW HERE IS THE WEIRD PART...

    I delete all of that, go back to split enter everything again and it works.

    Please someone help this issue. I recently installed the update thinking that would correct the issue and it has not.

11. Add Text & Auto Generated Text Box Bug

    When I select Edit PDF and Add Text, text boxes automatically generate in a way that make no sense. (This happened with a scanned pdf form with text boxes.) In addition, the cursor will not allow me to add text outside the automated text box that Adobe generated. First off, auto generated text boxes should line up with existing boxes on a form (regardless of being a scanned copy). Second, Add Text shouldn't be restricted to autogenerated text boxes. I am using Adobe Pro Version 2023.006.20320 on a Windows 11 computer. See screen shot.

    The only work around I see is to Edit Prepare a Form, add a text field, Save, and then add your text.

12. Allow lefthand tool bar items to be moved into existing tool bar spaces on top or on the right of the screen

    Left hand tool bar uses up extra space on the screen. Why can't this be moved to the top or right where there is already toolbars with extra space. See attached document for picture.

13. Using Hebrew to fill a form crashes acrobat

    When filling out a PDF form in Hebrew it crashes.

    The good news is that I found a fix: If I change the first field in the form to right to left (it is left to right by default) It does not crash anymore.

14. Trashy application and garbage user experience

    I have been using Acrobat Read (paid) for 1 year.

    The application is trashy at its best.

    1. Had crashes when exporting from word to pdf. It crashes 3/6 times.

    2. Export to pdf from word was changed recently and the user experience was broken. After the export to pdf the user is moved from the existing line to the beggining of the document. If you do this 100 times per day and if you work continously with the export this is not work - the product that designed this is idiot. He should have asked the customers. This new „feature” was recently „introduced”. Another idiocy of the application. Another broken feature not designed for customers.

    3. Another broken feature is when you open a pdf in the read and you select view of 2 pages. It used to align both of the pages correctly into the view of the reader and when you were paging 200 pages document it would correctly align each 2 new pages into the view and you were viewing only the 2 pages. Right now after it was „fixed”, the scroll was designed so idiotic that you see 4 pages, and you need to manually align them. When you have a 200 pages document this is stupid.

    4. The product is continously updated and reinstalled, meaning the level of bugs is so high that the application needs to be continously in repair mode.

    This product is not designed for customers, is designed by idiots that are not using it and that dont know the customers.

    Adobe esign is completely broke with recent update on forms that are filled out and then sent for signature. After filling out the form, then click send for signature, everything gets wiped out, and all that is left is a "text" box. There was a work around by using the online portal and dropping the filled form into the loader, but now that's broke too. The only fill and send for signature means we have is through the mobile app, but I am sure that will be broke soon too as they continue to push this latest update. This is the only thing we use Adobe for. So what are we even paying for. There are a million docusign services out there. Not sure why we use Adobe when things break everytime they push an update. Incompetent developers over here. For instance, why should an Adobe client be required to create a new account for "user voice" just to report a problem. I think the issue with Adobe is they have so many developers over there that the left hand never knows what the right hand is doing. Among other things, many of the apps online are nearly un-navigable.

18. Constant error messages

    Whatever changes made up the most recent update has ruined my user experience. Every action I try to take encounters an error message. Please advise how I undo the most recent update to get back to some semblance of a useful tool.

20. Unable to freely draw non-continuous lines sometimes when using Draw freehand tool

    Steps to duplicate:
    Chooses Draw freehand from the toolbar.
    Click and draw freehand writing by drawing numbers, dashes and ABCs in between with clicking and unclicking creating non-continuous lines making up the characters.
    Notice that sometimes a Pop-up appears beneath where I am trying to continue for Add note & Delete.

    Workaround:
    Wait a few seconds for Add note & Delete pop-up to disappear, or start drawing in a location without the pop-up. (Or revert to old Acrobat experience by choosing Disable new Acrobat from the Menu.)

    I expected to be able draw non-continuous lines without delay (as I could in previous version of Acrobat)

    I observed that I am unable to freely draw non-continuous lines sometimes when using Draw freehand tool without Pop-up overlaying my drawing area, preventing the next line drawing, adding an unwanted comment or completely deleting the freehand drawing.

    Update Sep 11, 2023: This appears to only happen on certain PDF files that I am annotating with comments. I cannot duplicate the error on a new blank PDF, but I can always duplicate the error on certain PDFs. It appears that before the error occurs, and I have completed drawing one line, that the first non-continuous line "comment" object appears selected (surrounded by a blue bounding box with corner handles). This error may have something to do with the error I reported in this post. Also of note: I cannot duplicate this error on my Mac.
