  1. Bug: Reader/Pro crashes when clicking directly into field

    Reader/Pro crashes when clicking directly into field to fill in a form. However when clicking into the pdf then into the field it doesn't crash.

  4. Changing OCR language results in immediate crash

    I have documents in both French and English. Changing the OCR language from English US to French results in an immediate crash, repeatedly. Note that changing to English UK does not.

    I removed by Prefs file, and all starts working again....for a couple of days. I first scan French! Then English! But when I go back to French, an immediate crash.

  5. Version 2023.008.20470 sucks.

    Version 2023.008.20470 sucks. I did not initiate the update, and I want to go back to a previous version. The layout is terrible. Simple functions such as zoom do not work as well. The save feature is disabled most of the time. Fill and Sign feature is slow and sluggish.
    Was the previous version broken? I didn't think so. So why did you change it?

  7. Hate this new version - today can't add text using Edit

    Can't add text today using PDF edit. I'm not going to lie - this new version of Acrobat is horrible. Can we backtrack to the old version that actually worked?

  8. Acrobat won't open

    2/8/2024 running Windows 11 Home, for two days in a row, Acrobat won't open when I click on it. I have to reboot my Dell and it will work.

  9. Vertical scroll bar is now missing?! Please bring it back - it's really important

    Please bring back the vertical scroll bar. It is impossible to navigate easily without it. Our team regularly has to move back and forth through pdfs that are over 200 pages long. I now have to use Preview to do that because the new version of Acrobat has no vertical scrollbar. Why remove it?

  10. EDIT

    The new update is terrible for adding text fields to documents. When add text is selected, the edit mode is still on which greatly impedes functionality. It takes me 10x as long to add text to a document now, I want the old Adobe back.

  11. Typo After Printing with Toner Saver

    It's nothing huge, but when you finish sending the print job to the printer with the Save Ink/Toner setting, a prompt pops up and says, "saved upto 15%" instead of Up to 15%. The words are just squished together. I forgot to take a screenshot though.

  12. Preserve Text option in Flattener Preview

    Flattener Preview should have a Preserve Text option so that even if Raster/Vector balance is set to 0, all text will remain as it was and fully selectable, while all artwork will be raster.

  13. User Interface Changes to Windows Vista Style in Adobe Acrobat

    While using Adobe Acrobat, the user interface unexpectedly changes, adopting the appearance of Windows Vista's style. This issue persists even after uninstalling and reinstalling the application.

    Steps to Reproduce:

    Open Adobe Acrobat.
    Navigate through various app functions (e.g., opening a PDF, using editing tools, etc.).
    open file explorer the user interface unexpectedly changes.

  15. Selected Page Number Wrong When Printing Selected Pages to new PDF

    Scenario/Description: I have a large PDF that is 310 pages, so I'd like to print selected pages to a new PDF for smaller files. e.g. print pages 168 - 208. Upon printing selected pages to a new PDF, it opens the created file and the total page count is correct, but the selected page number is wrong as it starts its count from its position in the original file (i.e. so instead of showing page 1 out of 41, it shows page 168 out of 41).

    Preconditions: PDF with multiple pages open (310 from scenario above) in Adobe Acrobat Pro.

  16. Snap Assist no longer available

    Snap Assist no longer functions. This Windows 11 feature allows you to size the application into one of six predetermined views by hovering over the Maximize/Minimize icon in the Title Bar.

  17. App crashes if you click on a link in a document before the Free 7-day trial box appears in bottom corner

    If you open a PDF which has clickable links to other pages in the document and then click on one of those links before the Free 7-day trial box has appeared in the bottom corner then the app crashes. If you want for the box to appear, or switch back to the old experience then it works fine.

    This is on the latest version of both Adobe Acrobat Reader and Windows 11 Enterprise.

  19. Can not move window with mouse on a document or menu button on top bar

    If the window is mostly off-screen ..
    a) off the lower right corner of the screen: You must grab it by the bar AFTER the (useless, unremovable) CREATE button on a mouse left click.
    b) off the lower left corner of the screen: You must grab it by the bar BEFORE the ? button (more useless, unremovable guff prior to the window controls)

    The title bar regions outside of the unused centre can not be used to move the window.

  20. Reduplicating Comments at Random

    The latest Acrobat is TERRIBLE!! Not only are old tools missing (page scroll is the worst!) but after adding a comment to page 1 of a document I was reviewing, I find it has also been posted on pages 2, 3, 5, 8 and on...

    Attempts to revise the text of a comment I added a few minutes earlier are thwarted. Acrobat no longer allows a user to revise their own entries??

    As I read the comment in the forum, there seems to be enough frustration with what this version has done, that simply providing access to download and use…
