  3. When I select the drop-down arrow next to the bullet section (to select an alternative bullet design, like a check mark for example), my Acrobat immediately crashes. I have tried restarting my computer, but this seems to be a persistent bug.

    Environment: Windows 10 Pro using Adobe Acrobat Pro DC
    Expected result: Select drop-down and be presented with alternative bullet designs.
    Observed result: Acrobat immediately crashes without saving my work.

  5. I am able to select/interact with the geospatial data in my individual Geospatial PDFs using the Object Data Tool. But once I combine 2 or more of the Geospatial PDFs, using the Combine Files tool in Adobe Acrobat Pro DC, the Object Data Tool no longer works and I can't interact with the underlying data anymore.

    I called Adobe Customer Service about this issue and they said that the Combine File tool was flattening out the objects in the PDF resulting in me loosing access to the geospatial capabilities. Can Adobe fix this in the next update?

  6. The "type" option for signatures is not valid i all countries.
    If anyone can just "type" a name with keyboard then there is nothing to prove who wrote the name.

    I would suggest an option to disabe the "type" field and other fields in the signature process.

    It would be nice to be able to do it through the syntax. So that it can be made individual for different templates.

  7. Please take out the creative cloud link in the bottom right window. Every time I try to resize a window from the bottom right or roll over to the scroll bar it clicks the link. I do know what my plan is and do not need to link to it every time I use acrobat. Thank you.

As it stands, after every 3 hours a sign in prompt appears asking if the user is still associated with the signed in account; our labs are public spaces, and we want to control the sign ins for our devices (keep them logged in to our Adobe Shared Device accounts), to stop any unwanted downloads, updates, or other factors that could clog machines, or prove to be security risks.

  13. In versions before Acrobat Pro DC you could scroll through advanced search results with the down arrow. Now you must select and click on the entry, a HUGE time waster and annoying step backward in Acrobat's functionality.

  15. Graduate students, researchers and practitioners are required to stay up-to-date in their area of expertise. This means they regularly read academic papers, white papers, e-books, reports, and other documents that come as PDF.

    Having a quick way to switch between colors when highlighting and commenting text (i.e., without relying on the "Comment" menu on the top of the screen) would allow more effective reading.

    This could be easily implemented by including a "color" command in the contextual menu that pops up when hovering the mouse on the top of highlighted text (right now it shows "Add comment" and "delete" only).

  16. The first document uploaded in about 15 seconds. Have tried multiple times to upload another. One finally uploaded after about 30 minutes. Current document has been hung over an hour. Been on hold for non-existent tech support over 40 minutes. Is there any management at Adobe anymore? Seems like the support dept is making no effort whatsoever and I find WAY more bugs now than in the past.

  17. Hi,
    I do a LOT of scanning via Acrobat Pro DC. I am often creating multiple documents, but each time I initiate a scan I have to select a folder to save the documents to (usually 5 or 6 clicks in an AWFULLY BADLY DESIGNED folder selection window.

    I ask just ONE thing - can you please provide an option that allows me to specify a DEFAULT folder that will be selected when I wish to scan (and save multiple files).

    This is the biggest pain in my *** right now - adds 7 clicks and 20 seconds every time.…

  18. I am unable to review, edit or remove auto-fill suggestions in Adobe Acrobat, when trying to 'Fill & Sign' the form. I tried all possible options and auto-fill keeps popping up. It is showing some previous personal and sensitive content that needs to be removed. Your support agents say that's impossible. Is this even legal that users can't delete private content showing in the software?? I don't think so.
    I also tried turning it off: Edit>Prefrences>Forms>Auto-Complete>Off, but it's not working, it stays on. And I am unable to edit entry list too.

    Hi,

    In order to delete the contents of the auto-fill, please follow the below steps :

    • Go to https://cloud.acrobat.com/ and sign in with your credentials.
    • At the top right corner of the screen, you will see an dropdown with your username on it.
    • Click it and go to Settings.
    • Now you can either stop the auto fill suggestions by unchecking the “Suggest words….” checkbox or you simply press Clear All button and will clear all the auto fill entries which has been stored in your account.

  19. What if you didn't make your product worse for no reason. Like what if when I clicked Fill Forms it did what it used to do, which was let me actually click on the PDF and write things in.

    Instead, now clicking on the button pops up a GIANT ******** HUGE SCREEN BLOCK prompt with two options on it, one that lets me use the feature, and the other that brings me to a completely different feature.

  20. When exporting to excel, there is WAY WAY WAY WAY WAY TOO MUCH wrong formatting specifically with merging cells or entering an entire page from the pdf file into cells A1 - A5 that are merged and centered with text wrapped.

    Can the pdf exporter to excel actually work so if I have a pdf file with a report that is a table 10 columns by 20 rows actually go into excel the same way and not end up being 15 columns and 8 rows due to all the excel cells merging.
