1. New Reader layout >>> will not convert to Word

   Why will the new layout NOT convert?
   I'm trying to do the same thing I have always done with the other layout with no problems, convert PDF to Word, and the Convert Button does NOTHING.

2. Text callout tool not working

   Every time I draw a text callout box, it automatically deletes itself.

   The only way I can add one to a file is by copying it from a different PDF.

   Performance

   Please improve performance overall on any platform. Wondershare PDFelement or Readdle PDFexpert are more or less overall much faster and work much more smoothly than your Adobe Acrobat DC Pro.

   You have the more feature-rich product, but it is much slower against their tools.

4. Organize Pages > Split is broken when top-level bookmarks are used to split and for names

   This only occurs if the "New Acrobat" is enabled. The "Split" action does not work when you ask it to split on top-level bookmarks and use the bookmarks names as the output names. When you click on the settings to select these options and save them, sometimes it takes you back to the main screen and the "Split" pop-out is gone. If you go back in, the settings are gone. Other times you can click "Split" but it just names the output files with sequential numbers instead of using the bookmarks.
   
   Disabling "New Acrobat" brings back the old functionality and it works OK.
   Also, it would be nice if it could remember this setting instead of making me set it up every time, including the output folder.

6. Last version of Adobe Acrobat (Aug. 8) crashing upon applying digital signature

   Since the update of Adobe Acrobat Pro / Reader on Aug. 8, the software crashes upon applying a digital signature on a specific form of mine. After JavaScript is done executing, the prompt for digital signature does not appear, and the software crashes. If under a specific case, I manage to reach the prompt for digital signature, and I would cancel, the software crashes. The signature can be applied only when the user follows specific steps, but it has to be done every time the signature must be applied. After uninstalling the latest version and reinstalling the previous version of Adobe Acrobat (July 11), the software works correctly and the signature prompts does not crash the software.

7. Function to group objects disappeared in Adobe Acrobat Pro version 2023.003.20269, App: Edit

   The previously versions of Adobe Acrobat Pro had a function to group two or more objects, when opening a pdf-document and choose the app: Edit.
   Grouped objects could then also be ungrouped.

   I have spent at 1 hour to search for this function in the program as well in the Adobe help files and on the internet.

   Please add this function again. It is very useful when working in documents having multiple objects.

8. windows taskbar on autohide not allowed to popup

   When in expanded window mode (filling whole screen but not in full screen mode) the autohide windows taskbar is inaccessible.
   You are unable to access the windows toolbar to change programs
   This is the only program that causes the issue.
   Have tried adjusting window settings.

10. Unable to see the file name in tab, Missing File / Edit bar

    I miss the benefits of having the dedicated menu bar at the top. This new UI is too compact and it is causing a loss of communication.

    1 - It was difficult to find the preferences menu as it is tucked into a small all-in-one menu. The Preferences pane did not allow me to turn on the typical application bar at the top of the page (File, Edit/ ...). I would like to be able to opt into this again. Firefox let's me turn this on.

    2 - The file names are constrained to the tabs. Even when a tab is active, since I don't have the application bar at the top of the UI anymore, I can't see the full file name or enough of it. This is making it difficult to distinguish between different tabs with similar designs (with minor differences per audience). It is now very labourious to figure out which file is which. I miss being able to see this at a glance. Even when I hovered over the tab, the full file name was not shown in a pop-up tip. The only way I can see which file is which is by going into Menu > Document Properties, which is too many clicks for something that used to be plainly obvious. This has made what should have been printing out a few files in various copy counts from something mindless and quick to now unbearable.

    PS - This textarea I am typing into is too short and can't be expanded. How is anyone supposed to detail a problem here?

11. New Acrobat UI: customization for navigation commands and position of floating toolbar

    Please allow more customization for: (1) navigation commands in the lower right panel. I would like to add previous and next view (2) positioning of the vertical floating bar (I am right-handed and it is more convenient to have it on the right side, for other it will be more convenient on the left, where it is right now)

12. Add a dedicated "Night Mode" for Windows version of Acrobat

    I recently noticed that Adobe included a dedicated "Night Mode" on the mobile version of acrobat reader in the latest update. I used it & it's great. To tell the truth, I had to use another third-party pdf reader whenever I needed to read pdf in Dark Mode. That problem is solved a little bit because of the dedicated "Night Mode" on the mobile version. But I still have to face hassle on the pc. I searched on the Internet. It told me to change the color options in the accessibility. It doesn't always help, to be honest. Some pdfs are made by combining multiple images. & we cannot change any image color using that process. So definitely it doesn't help & certainly it isn't user-friendly. I would be greatly helped if there is a dedicated "Night Mode" on the next update. Thank you.

13. FRQ: Display page labels as well as page indices on page indicator

    With the old user interface for Acrobat, the page indicator in the toolbar used to display the current page label in addition to the current page index. This is useful for documents that have multiple sections each with their own page numbering, e.g. a preface with roman numerals i thru xix before the first page numbered 1. It was also useful to be able to enter a page number and be taken to the page with the corresponding label rather than just to the page at that index.

    However, since the launch of the new Acrobat user interface, page labels are no longer displayed on the page indicator. It is still possible to enter page labels and navigate to the corresponding page, but we can no longer see the page labels when we scroll through the document.

    I would prefer if the page indicator was able to display the current page label as well as the current page index, as was the case with the old interface for Acrobat.

    Enable the use of "recipients group" for sending agreements (not only for workflows). Having this feature will save time by only having to write the recipient group name instead of writing email addresses separately.

15. Cannot use my touch screen to scroll a pdf

    Cannot use my touch screen to scroll a pdf. There used to be a little hand on the tool bar that I could click to make the touch screen scrolling work. However, the latest update to the reader seems to have removed that. I cannot find a way to turn on the touch screen scrolling now. Very annoying. Can you tell me how to fix this either permanently or as I did before by clicking on the little hand?

17. (like in reader) option to disable auto bookmark pane

    In Adobe Reader you can: https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/disable-right-hand-pane-in-acrobat-reader.html

    In Acrobat Pro this option is not available. Atm i work with dozens of pdfs wich i open multiple times and i have to close the Bookmark pane every time.

    I tried lot of solutions (even edit registry key) and tried to install adobe rader but it says "...already installed" and opens Acrobat Pro :'(

    If I have several tabs open in Acrobat, I wish to swap between these tabs by CTRL+PG Up/Down. This is standard behaviour in any internet browser or other apps.
    Please make this possible.

19. Splitting Documents in Organize Pages

    When I create a PDF, the document wont allow me to immediately split pages, i have to close the document then reopen it. The doc shows as being open in another location. Then when I go to enter the number of pages to split (by 1 page), I am using the number pad which doesnt recognize the number being entered (accessibility issue). These features being fixed in the next update would be greatly appreciated!

20. What is the advantage of setting Acrobat Language to Arabic?!

    Since Acrobat Pro had services on the cloud and was named Document Cloud back in 2015, we mostly tell our staff and clients using Acrobat to avoid setting the Language to "English يدعم العربية", meaning don't set your Acrobat to Arabic as seen in the screenshot below, we rather tell all users to change the Language to English so we can all enjoy cloud services such as E-sign, sharing files, and Fill & Sign.

    On this Adobe forums, I read quite a few complaints about some Acrobat features failing to run or perform as intended, just to discover user's Acrobat Language was set to Arabic, hence when the Language is switched to English, Acrobat will run and perform properly.

    My question to Acrobat Development Team is when do we need to change the Language to Arabic, and why is this option even there in the first place?
    I'm an Arabic-speaking person, I'm an Adobe technical support working in the Middle East for the Adobe distributor. I personally suffered from this issue back in 2015 when my Acrobat was set to Arabic, and only when I changed to English, Acrobat ran well.
    Moreover, I intentionally kept my Acrobat setting as Arabic for few weeks last year to test the possibility of solving issues facing Arab users with Arabic content, and yet nothing changed, regardless of whether Acrobat is set to English or Arabic, the same issues stayed there when handling Arabic content PDF such as Arabic OCR, Editing, backwards converting a PDF to MS. Word… etc.

    Just searching this Acrobat forum for English / Arabic, and you will see non-Arab users complaining that some features in Acrobat failing, just to find setting Acrobat Language to English يدعم العربية is the cause..

    I need someone to enlighten me, of what is this option English يدعم العربية is doing here and what are the advantages of choosing it - if any.
