  2. Make accessibility capabilities part of the non-paid Acrobat

I am exceptionally disappointed and frustrated the accessibility features are not part of the free version of Acrobat. It completely goes against the diversity & inclusion statements Adobe makes https://www.adobe.com/diversity.html?promoid=T32PLY3F&mv=other. How can you say you're trying to be inclusive if there is a financial barrier to creating PDFs.

  5. The highlight color that is currently used makes it impossible to locate the highlighted search criteria. If the color and brightness of the highlight was able to be changed by the user, it would be able to better suit their needs.
I have been able to do this in the past (I guess it was an older version). I don't know why that feature would be taken away. With the way it is now ctrl+f is useless.

  6. I'm sure that I'm not the first to inform on this issue. I also hear the same complaints from my co-workers. The previous toolbar had it so you can quickly select clockwise or counter-clockwise. Very frustrating when looking though 100's of .pdf documents per day and performing extra steps to view every document.

  7. Pan tool is converting to the selection tool after I pan a sheet. I have pan selected; and am panning over images.

Bump and agreed. The software juggling between pan and select is the most irritating feature I have ever experienced in all adobe products I have ever used. This shouldn't be considered a feature. Anyone who ever uses this has the knowledge to click the select tool before selecting stuff. When you have to browse through dozens of construction plans with comments and the whole bit that can amount to millions of dollars in liability if done wrong, and…

  8. It would be fabulous if one could search for text with highlighting applied in Adobe Standard. We had deposition transcripts in PDF format with highlighted designations (certain lines of text had highlighting applied) and were in need of counting the number of highlighted lines. The only solution was to manually count the lines. Having the ability to search for highlighted text would have been very useful. Thanks for reading. Happy Tuesday.

  10. In previous Acrobat users save the pdf and -signed suffix would be in the save file. Please add option to DC. The Accounting Firm just switched to DC, and does not have this automatic option now.

    Hi,

Thanks for reporting the issue. We have shared the feedback with the engineering team and will get back to you once we have an update.

    Regards,
    Sandeep Grover

    1. Steps to reproduce this issue
      2A) Two files are selected
2B) "Compare Text only" is checked
2C) In settings, either "Autodetect" or "Presentation Decks" is selected. The result is incorrect with either choice.
2D) In settings, only "Text" is chosen under "Show Report"
2E) Choose "Compare" and view result

    2. Environment
      Mac Mojave 10.14.3
Adobe Acrobat Pro DC Continuous Release Version 2019.021.20061

    3. Expected Result
"Compare Files" would highlight differences between the files and would not highlight things that are the same in the two files.

    4. Observed Result
When "Compare Files" is used on two files that have small differences but are…

  11. Need a keyboard shortcut for IMAGE tools - i.e, once I select one or more images in "PDF EDIT" mode, I don't want to use the mouse to always go select the tool I need (for me, it's "Crop Image" that I am constantly clicking).

    Thank you for listening.

  12. It would be very helpful for clients such as attorneys, banks, publishers, and so forth if there were a way to invoke PDF Optimization on a file from the command line, for situations where there are sixty (or six hundred, or six thousand) PDFs that need to have optimization done to them.

  13. Working for a UK University, we produce pdf.publications for the youth demographic, from prospectuses to course guides. It appears that Adobe is unable to autolink a URL in a pdf. that doesn't contain https:// or www. This is extremely old fashioned and not good practice from a design point of view. In 2020, it is widely accepted that these prefixes are not used, so I would like to requested that the autolink can be programmed in a way which reads these as URLs in a pdf. for example: swansea.ac.uk/research

I imagine this is not a unique issue, anybody creating…

  14. Your recent update of Acrobat DC Pro changed the scope of the search function in the search box in the upper right hand corner.

It used to search among the title of the files in my cloud (about 10,000) on the title of the file with boolean "and" logic if I put multiple descriptors.

Now, it searches on the titles of files AND IN THE FILES which gives back too many search results to be useful for my purposes.

So you can understand exactly: over 3 years I have built my entire library of thousands of documents with no subdirectories…

  16. The latest version of InDesign exports PDF's in which most all the tagged content is in an Xobject container, making accessibility remediation MUCH MORE DIFFICULT. This is a huge step backwards. Attached are two examples, from the same client, annual reports- last year's was fine, this year's has all the xobject issues. Please advise, help, fix, something!!!

  18. It is essential for the user to be able to disable the default view settings that were set by the creator of the document (often stupidly).

In 35+ years of using computer software, this is the dumbest default setting I have ever seen, and it creates serious usability issues for those wishing to use Acrobat for business purposes (i.e. not graphic design/web design/desktop publishing/etc)

Please IMMEDIATELY ASAP fix this so that the user can disable these default settings and thus view documents effectively instead of spending loads of time fixing display *****-ups caused by the content creator's clumsy use of…

  19. I really like the ability to share documents via the cloud but we have issues using it in our company. People who we share with don't see the "guest option" and refuse to get an adobe account and thus don't comment or request we share the original with them. Thus we have had problems with adoption and had to revert to sharing through mail. I think you have tried to make people get an account unknowingly this is discouraging adoption across a wider audience. I suggest a quick fix with the visual design to make sure that both options are…
