Fields do not auto-merge when combing multiply documents
When you are given several PDFs that have fillable fields and are all filled in with different information it would be optional to prevent the fields to merge.
Example
Doc 1 has a field for name filled in with Tom
Doc 2 has a field for name filled in with Dan
when the two documents are combined Name should not merge to be Tom for everybody.2 votes -
You have generative AI but you can't match a font
Focus on the basics... I can't edit my PDF because you don't have the Montserrat font. But you've added generative AI. Maybe focus on the basics first.

I wish we were somehow clearly informed on new features.
I wasn't sure why the recipients were not signing on the order I set. Only after quite a few contracts sent out and lots of trouble, I saw a new checkbox o top of the page. Also the new features are not very intuitive, Lot of improvement required.

Support Google Fonts
The latest iteration of Acrobat only supports Adobe Fonts. This causes great issues when exporting or printing to PDF from Microsoft or Google apps. Please put back support for system fonts and Google fonts. I spent 4 hours manually changing fonts on a 30 page document because Adobe wouldn't support the Google Open Source font, Manrope.

BUG: Acrobat doesn't let go of PDF on close
Version: 2004.002.20857
Windows 11
1. Close PDF in Acrobat Pro.
2. Try to delete PDF.
3. Window displays "Document is open in app"
4. Have to close Acrobat Pro before it will let go of PDF you're trying to delete.2 votes -
slow opening in 24H2
Acrobat usually opened within 5 seconds on windows version 23H2 and previous. Upon installation of 24H2 it took over 30 seconds to open. my system has intel i7, 1TB SSD, 16GB ram.

Stop spaming me
I do not need adobe to pop up every time i search something in the browser. If i need you product I know where to find it. This is ridiculous. I will be cancelling my subscription and uninstalling because for the last few months all I've gotten from Adobe is spam about AI Assistant (which is useless and I have disabled it but still get prompted every time I open reader) and now I'm being spammed in my browser. No way to disable these stupid pop-ups.

dark theme
Dark theme makes the advanced search keyword field text invisible (white font on white background) ! It has been like this since the dark theme was introduced. How come has this bug never been detected and fixed ?

Bug: "Find" feature makes Reader crash when keyboard language is changed
I usually work with multilingual PDFs, with Latin + Greek script. When I search text using the "Find" feature, and switch keyboard language layout while the cursor is in the "Find" text field, Reader almost often crashes. This started happening after the latest big GUI update.
Steps:
- I am reading a PDF with Latin + Greek script
- I open the "Find" tool using Ctrl + F
- I change the keyboard's language layout while the cursor is in that field, using Windows button + Spacebar. The keyboard's language is supposed to switch from Italian to Greek (Polytonic Greek)…2 votes -
panel tool text alignment
Add horizontal and vertical text alignment options for the Panel Tool fillable text within the text box. Currently the alignment function only allows for the text box itself to align on the page. The ability to align text within the text box is crucial when the lower half of text is cut off at the bottom of the text box when changing fonts.

PDF files stored on iCloud do not download (open) from within the program - only from the Finder.
If I try to open a pdf from within Acrobat that is stored in iCloud, it doesn't open. I have to click twice on the associated cloud icon for it to open. If I click the same pdf file from The Finder, it will open straight away. Is there a fix for this? TIA - DJH

Form Fields tab scroll bug
I've lost the ability lately to scroll the contents via the mouse scroll wheel of the Fields tab of the Prepare a form part of the program. Scrolling works properly in other tabs and dialog boxes though. I started experiencing it since the latest patch.

update "new design" with known functions and buttons
Hey there, my company uses Acrobat DC to view Electrical drawings, So we are used to have buttons for next/previus Page and for next/previus view. The new design is to slim i cant activate the buttons. This is an issue my users cant remember all short cuts for all programms. So a short cut is not a workaound for us.
Would it be possibile to reesteblish the buttons? If this is not intended please let me know than i just start testing other PDF-players.
I liked Acrobat but no hard feelings if i and my coulegues are not youre targeted…2 votes
