  3. Editing protected (NO SAVE AS) PDF... can PRINT to save form data, however when try to SAVE AS PDF get message need ACROBAT PRO to save PDF... upgrade to FREE TRIAL of PRO and still can't save PDF file. Attempt to EXPORT AS DOCX or PDF and same error message, require Acrobat Pro. It appears that ACROBAT READER is not refreshing license to understand TRAIL of PRO enabled and as result, does not allow all features. I am stuck... I can't save file and results in DATA LOSS. Adobe needs to fix READER so that license changes updated in running…

  4. I have recently reinstalled Acrobat DC on my MacBook Pro, following printing problems. I now use version 24.1, updated through my Creative Cloud professional licence. By the way, my company does not permit using the Creative Cloud itself to store anything (we use Microsft O365...).
The newer version is much faster and reliable than the previous Acrobat Pro DC I had (can't remember which version it was).
But a new annoyance has come up : though I still have my favorite files on Acrobat DC's home screen ('starred files' list), I am no longer able to add a new file…

  5. Provide an autosave feature that automatically saves an Adobe Acrobat file to my one drive or other server folders, just like is available in Windows products every few minutes. My PC sometimes crashes, or I accidentally close the file, losing all my work.

I remember this feature being available to auto-save to the Adobe Cloud, but it overwhelmed the Adobe server space.

  6. Comment Pane: Add/ allow user to resize/ change width of Comment Pane. -

*This is a f/u to previous posts (2021 and older) regarding the width of the Comment Pane.

PLEASE add/ allow user to resize/ change the width of Comment Pane.

Reason? Because each computer monitor, laptop, or tablet have different screen sizes; AND each user have varying degrees of space between actual monitor and eyes (think ergonomic devices, individuals with vision impairments.) Depending on these factors, the Comment Pane prevents the FULL VIEW of a document.

Is this an issue that can be related to disability accessibility issues…

  7. When closing multiple tabs that need to be saved Adobe used to close in order from the last open tab all the way to the first open tab. Currently when closing the tabs, if you are on the last opened tab, it will close all other tabs, taking away your ability to know what page is being closed and cannot save a file name accordingly to the page needing labeling

  9. System: Windows 10, MS Outlook, Acrobat installed preview handler
    Steps to reproduce:
    1. In Outlook, when receving a mail that has an attachment with more than 1 page, click the attachment once to open the preview handler
    2. Secondary problem/design flaw: in the preview you cannot scroll
    3. Main problem: for navigation in the pages there a "Down" and an "Up" button at the lower edge of the preview. While going down using the Down button works fine, going up again with Up button doesn't work at all.

  10. Please would you arrange an urgent fix for the tab order to be amended and therefore sequential when creating web forms? Web forms is a new feature but this is a fundamental flaw which needs to be addressed urgently. What is the point in having an easy to access fillable, signable form via weblink if it doens't tab in the correct order for the user? Please?

  11. I need to avoid the action of mailto links, because ... (for example the wrong app opens, or I just want to copy the email). But it is not possible to copy just the text of the email to be able to use it.
The content menu is missing this option.

  12. I'm using a Mac OS, when I try to print some pdf with Adobe Acrobat, some Chinese characters become empty.
I have contacted with adobe agent, they cannot fix this well, they want to me to print as an image, but I don't think it's a solution. I can print well before.
I don't know why I cannot upload the screenshot, it shows "could not identify image size"

  14. Two techniques to convert PST emails to PDFs with attachments!

Method 1: Print Microsoft to PDF with a few emails.

    • Open your PST in Outlook to change emails.
    • Choose Emails: Choose emails to PDF.

    • "Print" creates a PDF. Select "Microsoft Print to PDF" under "Printer."

    • Save: Use "Print Options" to name and save the PDF file. Selecting "Print" changes it.

Method 2: Converting Files with PST converter software

    • Select a show: Purchase a trustworthy PST-to-PDF converter. Free samples are becoming more common.

    • Open PST Software: Find and open your PST in the tool.

    • Select Your Options: Select the emails or…

  15. Change new tools to OPT in instead of OPT out with no clear mechanism. new versions of Acrobat are harder to navigate, harder to comment on and familiar features seem to have been shrouded or eliminated. keeping pdfs in the layout they came in is a bonus, not a liability. perhaps have a reader mode button, but otherwise let us look at the documents in total, even on tablets and phones. Feels like we lost many tools in the latest build and I have trouble finding ways to get around the loss adding way too many obstacles.

  16. In Acrobat, I can't edit an existing button (i.e click on it, right click to get options, etc) without 1st going into the button tool, and placing a new button to get the button selection tool. After that I can edit the existing button then delete the new button. There should be a button selection tool or something similar.

  17. Bug: Create/Combine/Add files/Save As windows is blank, won't save. A blank popup window appears. If I click past it, I can enter a filename, and the popup goes away, but no file is created. I tried uninstalling (even though my updates were current) and reinstalling, but I get the same result.

  18. This ux is super complicated to use. Referring to adobe sign. When creating a template, you cannot create from an existing signed agreement or copy old templates. Another HUGE issue is that once you have added a second or third participant it can never be removed from the template. I added it on accident and just now can never go back to the old way i had it

  19. Since 2020, I used ADOBE PRO, previously installed on my laptop with a subscription. After this year's renewal, the app didn't accept my log in, and after reaching out to customer service, I ended up with an ADOBE READER. That is what the person said my subscription was good for. BUYER BEWARE! Now, I need to pay to upgrade my product to ADOBE PRO. Shame on you, ADOBE.
