1. PowerPoint permissions error with AcrobatUtils.scpt on Mac Sequoia 15.x

   I am running MacOs Sequoia 1.5x, Office 365 and Acrobat Pro, brand new installation. When opening any PowerPoint file, the error appears, 'Microsoft PowerPoint needs access to the file named "AcrobatUtils.scpt".'

   Clicking "Select" leads to a Finder window that allows me to "Grant Access." This could repeat multiple times before the Acrobat tab finally appears in PowerPoint. This repeats every time I open an existing file or create a new file. This started becoming an issue with Sequoia 15.0 but is still present on 15.3.

   I was able to work around this by creating a copy of the file AcrobatUtils.scpt, revising the permissions to include read access for all users, and replacing the file with my modified one (I could not find a way to modify the permissions in place on this file, perhaps I don't have sufficient admin permissions).

   The permissions for this file show in Terminal as "rw-------" but I see similar permissions in the corresponding script for MS Word and MS Excel. Only PowerPoint seems to have this issue.

2. Need to be able to add 3rd party plugins to Quick toolbar

   We have a Document Management System IManage and if in Modern look the tool bar for this is at top but when we go to the New Acrobat UI it puts it down in 3rd party plugins and you cannot add to any tool bar or Quick access tool bar

5. Combine files

   Since several years the function "Combine Files" of Acrobat (currently version 2024.005.20399 on Windows 10.0.19045) retakes the focus of Windows on every file it adds. This means that I cannot use any other Windows program as long as the tool is not ready. Especially with a large number of files this is really annoying. This did not happen in versions of five or more years ago, but has ever since. Please finally resolve this bug.

8. Page layout and zoom settings not working - fix immediately

   The default page layout and zoom settings that I choose in the Preferences menu aren't applying to documents I open. I have it set to Single Page and Fit Page, but every time I open a document, it scrolls as if I've chosen "Single page continuous" instead. This is a waste of my time having to set it correctly every time. Fix this immediately.

10. Bug

    When we open multiple tabs and want to switch between them, we typically move our mouse to the top edge and click on the tab, without needing to click exactly in the center. This behavior is common across all browsers and works seamlessly. However, in Adobe PDF, this doesn’t work. We need to move our mouse precisely over the tab to switch between them.

13. Keep the settings per the last session (pan vs select)

    As someone who has getting older and hard to see the tools, it would be spectacular if I didn't have to toggle to the pan button every time I open a PDF. Who want to select things by default in a PDF? Or at least have a preference so the user can select the desired tools to be set. I work with large plans, and it's my preference to be able to pan by default. I don't want the select tool active as it can select lines and get inadvertently moved. All you need to do is in Customize Toolbar, allow the user to swap out any tool flyout and select the desired one. That it! Easy right? A couple of seconds each pdf x 100's and ultimately my sanity.

16. Poor Sign-in design for Adobe Acrobat

    Adobe Acrobat sign-in process is anti-customer and designed to frustrate your clients.

    (1) I have to click see more to click on sign in with Microsoft. Only Apple, Google, and Facebook are available on the first screen. I highly doubt that Facebook is used more than Microsoft, but regardless, there is more than enough room to allow all 5 of the allowed SSO methods to be available on the main sign-in screen.

    (2) You only allow 2 computers to be signed in at a time, regardless of whether the other logins are active. This is problematic and frustrating behavior for someone who uses 4 different computers (3 desktops), whether working from home, office, a laptop or other regularly used computer. Stop the nonsense. Allow me to stay logged in on 3+ machines, but simply do a check in the background to detect if more than one computer is an "active" user so that you can still prevent lost revenue due to password sharing. OR even better, only check if sign-in is needed when someone clicks on a paid service that isn't available in the free version. Why do I need to kick out my other sessions for the free services?!

    (3) The sign in procedure should not take me to a browser and then back to the app. Allow the sign in to occur within Adobe app with SSO and streamline the process.

    (4) even if you require the browser step, don't make me choose my profile (personal | business) both in the browser and again in the app.

    (5) FORCE YOUR DEVELOPERS TO USE YOUR PRODUCT BEFORE RELEASING TO PUBLIC. THESE POOR DESIGNS AND FLAWS WOULD BE FOUND AND AVOIDED BY ANY REASONBLE DEVELOPER WHO USED YOUR PRODUCT, SO THERE IS NO EXCUSE THESE APALLINGLY POOR DESIGNS, ESPECIALLY AFTER YEARS OF COMPLAINTS ON FORUMS BY YOUR CLIENTS.

    Adobe Acrobat sign-in process is anti-customer and designed to frustrate your clients.
