1. Splitting PDF to multiple files based on list of named page ranges

   PDF DC needs a way to split a document into multiple files with varying page ranges by name. Under the split feature, there could be a table to fill in (or paste into) a list with "new file names" and the page range for that new file. This way you could extract multiple sections of a PDF at once. If this is not possible, an action script or plugin, as part of DC purchase, to import lists to create bookmarks, rather than manually creating them. This way one could split a file by bookmarks (already a feature) quickly by first creating a list of bookmarks that are then imported to generate the bookmarks with page ranges defined, etc.. There many 3rd party options you can pay for to do these tasks. So why not include it in the product for those of us who don't know javascripting.

2. Adobe acrobat Pro 2020 Offline Installation

   Unable to perform an offline installation of adobe pro 2020.

   Version 20.0001.30002

   I have attempted to use the Adobe Provisioning Toolkit. I am able to generate a request code, accept the request code on adobe's website, and generate a response code.

   the response code provides error code 14 when entered.

   I continuously get the roundabout from adobe support that I just need to enter the response code when prompted and also that offline activation is not supported.

   The environment that I am installing adobe acrobat pro 2020 is completely offline and cannot connect to the internet.

3. Multiple identity management.

   I have a personal subscription with Adobe (Lightroom and Photoshop) and I'm a named user on a corporate subscription (Acrobat DC). The current authentication processes make it nearly impossible to manage the identities concurrently on the same device. Ideally, Adobe would implement a user experience similar to MSFT O365 where I'm able to seamlessly switch between my personal and business licenses / identities.

4. 20.012.20043.3217 Acrobat Pro DC is painstakingly slow

   The new updates have been doing only harm to the software. It has become painstakingly slow. I normally have 5-6 (min) PDFs open at all times and search through them for keywords. After the recent update, it has been very slow, sometimes showing results on blank pages, even though there is actual content.

6. Bug with dynamic stamp | Adobe freeze

7. Bug: Lack of text contrast in Navigation lists with Dark Theme

   I use the Dark Theme for accessibility because of light sensitivity.

   When using Dark Theme, many of the Navigation Panes (including Bookmarks, Content, Order, Tags, and probably others) display black text on a dark grey background, instead of properly switching to light colored text. I think there are other parts of the UI that have this same problem, but I can't enumerate all of them.

   The lack of contrast makes these parts of the UI effectively unusable in Dark Theme. Using low screen brightness (again, because of light sensitivity) exacerbates the issue. The bug is very easy to reproduce because it is immediately apparent after switching to Dark Theme. Text contrast is a core accessibility feature, making this a very high priority bug.

   I've attached screenshots of the same window with both Dark Theme and Light Theme to illustrate the bug. I am using Acrobat Pro DC 20.9.20074.389258 on macOS Catalina 10.15.6 (19G73).

8. PDF Files Don't Open in Acrobat after latest windows update and/or in new Edge Browser

   When opening a PDF file from Microsoft Edge browser the file now opens using a default Microsoft pdf reader of some sort. I checked to make sure that acrobat was the default application for opening .pdf files but that makes no difference. Adobe help desk said this is because of the latest windows update and the latest adobe acrobat update as well. This is really frustrating and makes workflow inefficient. Please fix this so acrobat can be used when opening .pdf files from browsers (had same problem with Chrome so does not seem to be a browser specific problem).

9. "Fill & Sign - Add Checkmark"

   Please make it possible to change the fill color of the checkmark under > Fill & Sign > Add Checkmark. There is a box for color, but I cannot tell what color it is changing. The outline? I would like to be able to change the fill color of the check mark to anything besides grey.

10. Thumbnails Do Not Appear (PDF and AI)

    This is a problem that has plagued Adobe generated files for YEARS. It is very disappointing that this is not a priority for Adobe to solve since lacking the ability to view thumbnails of files is a major inconvenience and slows your ability to work as swiftly as you need.

    Thumbnails and previews of Adobe generated files, in particular PDF files, do not appear in folders in Windows 10. Lacking the ability to preview a file often times requires users to open multiple files just to be able to view it. Now, what is interesting is that if you uploaded these very same files to Dropbox the thumbnails appear. Hmmm. Whatever technology Dropbox is using to preview thumbnails should be easily copied/used by Microsoft.

11. Make main toolbar customizable for our choice of icons not yours smaller too.

    Should be allowed to customize the Main Toolbar you can put whatever you have - but some are not useful at all, the older one you could add whatever you wanted this new one is rubbish. Also the icons need to be smaller too so you add more too. Next problem I found the highlighter tool you add it to your customization tool it does not work but if you add to the main it works (where is no good not enough space) or you can only use in the COMMENTS tools Adobe sort it out - what are we paying for your older version worked new does not even work properly useless

14. "Draw Polygon" tool - automate it

    I often use the draw polygon tool so the text is precisely identifed. To draw the polygon, as you know, I have to draw a line, stop, draw the next line, stop, draw the 3rd line, stop, etc. If I want to highlight that same text, I can simply start at one spot and drag my mouse over all the text, which is very convenient. Why cannot the draw polygon tool have a similar function? I would select "draw polygon", put my cursor at starting place, drag to ending place, and the polygon would be drawn.

15. Scanner not detected

    Hi, Adobe is not picking up my scanner when I try to scan. It does however pickup my printer which is the scanner/copier printer (3 in 1).

    How do I correct this?

17. Add print placement like in Illustrator/Photoshop Print dialogue to print large documents

    I would like to print actual size large document in a tiled way on a printer in Acrobat Pro. Illustrator has a Placement feature so you can drag your image around to print the exact area needed and repeat until you have the whole image printed to be assembled later.

18. Fix PDFMaker Toolbar in Autocad 2018. DC PRO 2020.012.20041 no longer works.

    Acrobat DC PRO recently updated and Autocad 2018 will no longer load the PDFMaker toolbars. See errors when starting autocad.

19. custom settings for scanning

    Revert to 2017 interface for scanning. if i want to switch between one side and two sides, I have to change the default setting each time. same with page size. I attached the older interface. Much easier to use.

20. Make Comments Private

    Can you make comments private? i.e I want to send PDF to A&B via cloud, but I dont want A to see B comments and vice versa. Is this doable?

    So there is no way to 'segregate' participants? I am wanting to share a file with people who I do not want to be able to see other participants comments. So what is the point of sharing I hear you ask? I want to share with internal staff, but only want external invitees to comment/mark up without seeing the internal discussion about what they have to say, as it may be 'sensitive'. We dont want 2 versions of the document, one internal and one external. We just want to have more control with what information is availabe to read.
