1. The ability to sign your own documents and send to someone else for signature in Adobe sign

   It would be great to be able to sign a document after it has been received back from a client for signature. I am a photographer and most of my contracts are 2 way signatures. As of now I have to send it to myself to an unrelated business email in order for me to sign the document after a client to be able to provide them with a copy signed by both the client and myself. I find it to be labor intensive not be able to sign the document in Adobe Sign after they have signed it.

   I do not sign it until after they have signed it just in case there needs to me an amendment to the contract.

   I refer lots of photographers and professionals to this app but the lack of that feature alone is troubling.

   *Note I have tried the fill and sign feature in Adobe Document Cloud to try to sign it after the client and I get an error every time. Sending it to myself via another email address has been my work around but honestly doesn't really make since. It creates duplicates and such.

2. reboot

   Acrobat is an application and as such, I should not need to reboot the computer when it updates. I have lost information twice now. I will now block it from updating.

3. Bug: Cannot save data to form fields completed in Acrobat DC, even with "Enable more tools" option turned on.

   After completing an editable form with no restrictions and fillable fields in Acrobat DC, the data typed into the fields does not save. The form is blank when the document is saved and then reopened. Even when "Save as Other" --> "Reader Extended PDF" --> "Enable More Tools" is turned on, the data in the fields cannot be saved. This is a frustrating and time-consuming issue since users must complete the form, and if there are any errors, must then complete the entire form over again from scratch. I have now wasted more than two hours total completing a form that should only take 15 minutes to finish, and well over one hour searching for troubleshooting information (despite being an advanced Acrobat user of more than 15 years).

4. Acrobat DC compile files into single PDF, Illustrator files grayed out

   In Acrobat DC when attempting to combine files into single PDF and trying to select Illustrator files they are grayed out and cannot be selected. I have to drag them from the finder into Acrobat. This is a major pain and waste of time. Before the upgrade I could always select an AI file to add to a PDF. Now I never can, even when trying to replace a page with a new file. Illustrator and Acrobat are not talking to each other.

   Acrobat does not support conversion of AI files to PDF via the Combine functionality.
   Can you confirm that you are combining AI files or PDF files created from Illustrator?
   Also, do you have Illustrator installed on your system?

5. Dialog Utility for Batch PDF Conversion from Office/Docs to PDF

   Create a right click utility option to be able to batch convert files to PDF without prompting for each document save. Your competitors have this feature and Adobe Acrobat should be able to do this without "actions" or other workarounds.

   Complete the following use case.

   1. Highlight multiple Office/Document files (even 50-100 is possible) 1A. Right click the documents
   2. Click "Batch Convert to PDF"
   3. A dialog opens, lists all selected files, has the ability to add new or remove files, asks where to save all PDFs and what settings such as PDF/A, quality, etc
   4. Have multiple conversion options such as "Convert all files to individual PDF" or "Convert all files to single Binder"
   5. When selecting an option from step 4. - PDF files save to the selected location without any user intervention, such as do not display a Save dialog for each PDF file. This should just save all files and not open.

   Reference - Support Request where I was told to open this Feature Request: E-000072685

   There is an option to Batch create PDFs from Acrobat.
   You can do so via File > Create > Create Multiple PDF Files.

6. Toolbar icons keep changing/moving/disappearing

   Step back in functionality and hugely annoying--icons take up too much room, and seem to move/float around. I just had to add the "view one page" and "view full width" icons (side by side, BTW) to my toolbar, when they had been there just a few days ago.

8. multiple text line links tab order

   Using 13.1. Don't know if this is an Acrobat or an InDesign issue, but recently noticed that if I have text that flows to 2 lines and that has a hyperlink behind it, in Acrobat, the tags show the link as having two Link-OBJR, but they are the reverse of reading order. So if you tab the page, you go from 2nd line of text to first. So,

   'Go to

   the store'

   tabs as if it is 'the store' 'go to'. The underlying link is fine--no issue there--it's the tab order and tag order (tag order perhaps then impacting screen readers/accessibility???).

   This is in a single paragraph block, so not an issue of Article content out of order--the system is doing this. I think this is a recent bug (last 4-6 months?) --but whether in how InDesign feeds this to Acrobat or how Acrobat interprets, I don't know. I can manually fix in Acrobat but re-ordering the Link-OBJR tags, but it makes no sense that I should have to do so. Any idea what is going on?

9. Right click on comment to resolve

   When right-clicking a comment in Acrobate DC, I get the option to delete it, but to mark it as 'resolved', I have to use the comment column. Deleting a comment is not preferred, because it leads to the reviewers thinking they have missed a spot, while a resolved comment still gets highlighted when they go the document. It would be much easier for all those quick fixes to be able to resolve them on the spot instead of having to look them up and resolve them in the comments pane.

10. Review PDF email: User specific email address in address field

    Picture the scenario:
    My client is waiting for a PDF proof from myself. An email arrives from '(my name) via Adobe cloud'. My client has a quick look at the pdf and thinks it looks great. My client then wants to talk to me about something else to do with the project. So my client goes back to her email program and replies to the last email she thinks came from me, which happens to be the email about the pdf. My client types a long email about the project with a request for me to call at a specific time to discuss further. This email goes nowhere and I never get it, because it goes to message@adobe.com. Can Adobe not link the email field to my email address, or at least include a message in the email to say 'replying to this message will not get to the recipient'?

    This is a bug report. Typically Enhancing a scan triggers an error message (which is attached). This error message at the very beginning of the enhanced scan. The path shown in the error message does exist. I've reinstalled several times.

13. Can't make PDF from .tif file BUG REPORT

    I receive .ai and .pdf files via email from customers. I convert these files to .tif in Photoshop. Until sometime around the end of October, I would create multi page PDFs with Acrobat, as proofs. The .tifs are used as print files. Now I get this error box. "Adobe Acrobat could not open 'WFFTBRAB2019WineSignage11x17batch1Page01.tiff' because it is either not a supported file type or because the file has been damaged (for example, it was sent as an email attachment and wasn't correctly decoded)."

    sometimes, while opening a new PDF, a cache of the previously opened PDF (which is no longer opened) will be displayed for several seconds until the the newly opened PDF is fully loaded

    1. Need functionality to restrict the number of copies of print.
    2. We also would like to have a functionality to bind the PDF with a specific computer mac address to view the PDF and there by setup a license schema

18. Preventing downloading PDF placed om my website

    I want to publish a magazine on my website. The page is normal HTML, with a clickable link that opens the PDF. I can prevent the PDF being printed, but I cannot prevent it to be downloaded. Some services, like www.issuu.com, make that possible, publishers can prevent downloading PDF's from that site. What I want is that I can password protect my PDF on my website, so that it can be opened, but not be downloaded or printed. It would be very nice if Acrobat DC makes that possible, then I can use my own website and don't need to depend on an external service.
