1. LaTeX + Drawboard PDF = Error 18

   I'm using LaTeX (Beamer) to create my files and Drawboard PDF to draw on them. When I open the files with Acrobat, the slides with annotations with them result in Acrobat saying "There was a problem reading this document (18)". I can't even edit and try to save the document:

2. Adobe Sign - Change the Wording of 'Tap To Sign' when signing documents

   I work at a financial institution and we use Adobe Sign for remote signatures. Many of our members have issues signing documents because of the way that Adobe Sign works for signing. At the end of the signing process, a 'Tap To Sign' button/link appears after the member has actually already signed their name. Most of them think they are done and have submitted the document, but have not because 1) they miss that 'Tap To Sign' button even pops up after they have clicked a Finish button (that is very confusing to many) 2) and most importantly the phrase 'Tap To Sign' does not make sense to them. At that point, they have already physically signed, so it would make more sense for the button to say 'Click to Submit' or 'Submit', or something similar.

   We have so many members that struggle with this portion of signing. It would be very helpful to update this terminology. Your consideration would be most appreciative! Thanks! Jason

3. Save presets for cropping pages

   Hi,
   I often use the same presets to crop pages in Adobe (same area to crop) in multiple documents. While I can apply my cropping dimensions to an entire range of pages (all pages, even and odd, odd only, even only, selected page only), I have to repeat the same operation for all the documents I need to crop. It would be extremely convenient if we could add a function to name, save and load cropping profiles exactly like we are able to create printing profiles (in my case, I am using maybe 10 times a day 3 cropping configurations).

4. Add option to Expand/collapse at the comment level

   Acrobat (years ago) had this ability, I believe.

   Currently, we can expand/collapse all comments.
   We can also expand/collapse comments for an entire page.

   Please add an option at the comment level that would expand/collapse the replies to a specific comment.

   When a page has 30 markups, and each markup has 5 replies (yes, this has happened :-)), there are now 150 comments showing in the comment list for just that single page.

   Being able to collapse a comment thread would be a massive improvement in usability of the commenting feature, I believe.

5. Text menus- not hieroglyphics please.

   Text menus should be an option in preferences. Your non-standard hieroglyphics just aren't working for me and I've been using this version for about a year- if I could go back to version nine I would in a heartbeat. You still have the File, Edit, View, Window, Help text menus (don't you dare!). Why not have the other important functions in another text row underneath?

7. Adobe has ruined the experience of working with PDF documents. I will never join a subscription service. There are 3rd party products.

   There are 3rd party products that can do everything I need with PDF documents. Many people want to buy a residence copy of software and not be tied to some high-priced subscription service when only a small fraction of the functions are needed. I hope your business model fails. Don't contacting me because I'm not interested in the corporate BS.

8. Filled form does not show text

   When a form is filled out and returned, the text does not appear when opened with Adobe. The text does appear when opened with any other app.

9. I just subscribed and am used to older versions. Aside from being extremely blingy, where are the annotative tools? i.e. circle, square, etc

   Annotations; circle, square, line-where are they?
   Way too much bling here
   How do you disable the sign fill boxes-this is super annoying

10. View Reminders sent in current version

    It would be nice to view when reminders have been sent out with the current version. After almost an hour of working with support I was told I could only see this when I select "View in Classic Mode" - sounds like this is a feature that was overlooked.

11. Cannot digitally sign

    I having trouble with digitally signing documents. I use this all the time. Last week, after the MS 10 update, I get to the signature popup, hit the "sign" button, and nothing happens.

12. Change email address on document out for signature

    If an email address is entered incorrectly on a document with many signatories, then the whole document needs to be done over to make that one correction. There should be a way for document creator to edit the email address for a recipient without breaking the certification. If not, then allow the document creator to break the certification and get the signature. Not all signatures need to be certified.

13. There is no possibility to rotate any PDF for 1°. WHY? Rotating starts from 2° only.

    Adobe Acrobat Pro DC
    Sometimes people need to rotate PDF for 1 or 0,5° or 0,2°. Why there is no possibility to do that? I do it exporting pages in photoshop, rotating it there and export in acrobat. Easy? Don't think so!

14. Crash when commenting on PDF portfolio file

    1. Create a PDF portfolio from any two PDF files
    2. Right click on one of the files on the left and choose Open File
    3. Go to the Comment tool
    4. Click Add Text Comment from the toolbar (the single line one)
    5. Type in a comment anywhere
    6. Click X to close the tab while the caret is still blinking

    Expected:
    Asks you to save like it does with a non-portfolio PDF file.

    Actual:
    Freezes and then crashes. Reproducible every time, occurs on multiple Windows accounts.

    After typing, if you press Esc or do anything else to move focus off the comment, the comment commits and everything is fine. If you close the tab without doing that, while the caret is still blinking, it crashes. This doesn't happen for regular PDFs, only those opened from a portfolio.

    Running in remote desktop on Windows Server 2016 version 1607 build 14393.3686

15. Adobe Chrome Extension first run page launch

    Remove the auto page launch after the installation / activation / updating of the Adobe Acrobat Chrome Extension. Or provide a group policy to disable it.
    The problem is on Citrix or none persistent VDIs were the users get always a fresh user profile. Users see then on first browser launch the Adobe page instead of our company Portal.
    The old Adobe Reader extension had this feature but not the new one.

16. Provide a way to give hints to OCR

    I'm trying to OCR photos of text on a PC screen. I'd think OCR would do a much better job if I could give it hints, such as:

    • the text to recognize is in a monospaced font (now, it tries to use a font with variable character widths, frequently leading to words with spaces in the middle of them)

    • the text to recognize has regular line spacing

    Also, it would do much better if I could tell it:

    • proceed line by line; don't jump all over the place. OCR sometime reorders the content of tables in strange ways.

    Attached is an example where OCR did a decent, but not great job. With hints, I'd think it could approach 100% accuracy.

18. adjust Workflow (signing options) AFTER a document has been sent for siging

    After a document has been sent for signatures, allow:
    1) changing order of signatories (e.g. a-->b--c changed to a-->c--b)
    2) change of workflow from signatures in order (sequential) to parallel
    3) for certain individuals with equal signing authority, allow delegation by recipient if it has been preconfigured (say by cc: e-mail when setting up a signing request?)

20. ADOBE SIGN AVAILABILITY TO CHANGE INK COLOR FOR DIGITAL SIGNATURE

    It is not possible to change the by default black color for signature in ADOBE SIGN (see customer service chat attached)

    This is a strong requisite in some countries. If this can not be met we will need to move to other signature software that allows this option.

    I see this option is already available in Adobe Reader Fill and Sign for IOS so PLEASE include this option for ADOBE SIGN since it looks like an easy fix.

    If this is not possible please provide the reason to try to understand the limitation.
