  1. Very disheartened to find that the new adobe took away the option to open new documents as separate windows. This is very inconvenient for me in my day to day work as I often have many documents open at once and like to arrange them and move them freely around my screens. Now I have to pull them out of the tabs separately each time which is already getting old. Please add the option back in to automatically open as separate window!

  2. Literally everything is in a new place and I can't find anything. The stuff i need to look at the most is now way over on the side of my screen instead of being in the center. The icons have been redesigned and now i have to mouseover things to know what they are. Stuff i need is hidden away in corners. Completely un-intuitive. No way to adjust layout. It's taking me longer to do what i need and now i have to complain about it to you too.

  3. I don't want to have the plus sign "Create a PDF" button in the toolbar. I never use any of the three actions mousing over that button does, and I'm always accidentally mousing over it when I'm trying to move the application around on my screen. I will have to disable new Acrobat because this button messes up my workflow. I hope this can be fixed before the older Acrobat display is discontinued.

  4. Regarding case ADB-35924396-K4P5 - Adobe Acrobat Pro issues

There are several issues that are intermittent. I am working in the web version because almost all the files I need to work with are in shared folders on Google Drive, therefore not accessible in adobe's desktop connection to My Drive.

Mac OS Sonoma 14.5, MacBook Air, Google Drive, Acrobat Pro and using the extension within Chrome.
Issues are all about Adobe stalling. Often enough that I gave in and called support but not at all times.

    a. using "Open With" from Google Drive on Google Doc and file never opens.
    If…

  5. Please ungroup the Pan and Select icons in the toolbar. As an engineer who goes through dozens and dozens of PDF'd prints every day, the added step of switching between the two has become cumbersome very quickly. Here's the background: when I receive a D-sized print I need to be able to zoom in and then pan around, and usually do so quickly. I thought nothing of the change (once I figured out they were grouped), but it's slowly become annoying. There's plenty of space over there.

  6. In the latest version of Acrobat Pro, it looks like the ability to send a pdf as a file by email has been removed. This is a critical feature. When I receive a pdf invoice I send the file into my accounting software for archive and processing. I can't send my accounting software a link to the pdf, I need to send the actual file. Please bring this feature back.

  7. I HATE ADOBE. EVERY TIME IT IS "UPDATED", IT IS COMPLETELY CHANGED, BEYOND CONFUSING, USELESS, AND CAUSES OUR WHOLE COMPANY TO START LEARNING HOW TO USE IT ALL OVER, FROM THE BEGINNING AGAIN. IT'S A TOTAL WASTE OF TIME, AND THE ONLINE HELP IS OUTDATED AND USELESS DUE TO THE CHANGES. PICK A DESIGN/OPERATION/FUNCTIONALITY AND LEAVE IT ALONE! wtf.

  8. Steps to reproduce: (Windows 11 environment)
    1. Create a pdf in Adobe Acrobat Pro (Version 24.1) with the page rotated clockwise, aka "landscape"
    2. Use prepare form tool to add a fillable text field, set the field properties so that font size is "Auto"
    3. Save, and open in chrome using the Adobe Acrobat extension (Ver 24.8.1.1)

When entering text, it does not fill the whole field and the font size reduces abruptly. Behavior is not seen in built-in chrome pdf handling, or in Acrobat Windows App.

  9. Adobe crashes when using the highlighter feature from the commenting menu. I can add other markups without any issues but this causes the program to Not Respond then crashes and closes all documents. On average it happens approx. 5-6 times an hour. Typically this happens when trying to change the color of the highlighter by right clicking and accessing the properties.

  10. How about beta testing a bit before rolling it out, I wasted a full day testing and rebuilding something that was working perfectly, now I am screwed. Thanks

    Hi Nicholson,

We understand you are encountering some trouble with the new feature in Request e-signatures. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. With Modernized experience, you now get simplified document authoring experience, leverage AI-assisted form field detection and ability to revise, organize & save document edits in-progress, add/ remove recipients during agreement creation step. Here’s more information.

If you still prefer to use the earlier version you can revert back by following these steps:
    1.    Click on your profile icon.
    2.    Select "Settings".
    3.    In "E-signing settings", uncheck the box next to "Use the latest version of Request e-signatures".

This change will only affect new created after making this adjustment. We appreciate your patience and cooperation in resolving this issue. If you have any further questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us.

  11. I can no longer print to a printer from a file that was scanned to a PDF with a Canon scanner. THis process has worked flawlessly before today. But now, the print function in Adobe always selects the print to file even though the printer is selected in the WIndows 10 printing dialogue. Help!

  12. In the demanding world of academia, students often seek out an essay writing service to assist with their assignments. These services offer expert guidance in crafting well-structured essays, ensuring that students meet their academic requirements with ease. Whether it's a basic essay or a complex research paper, an essay writing service can provide the support needed to produce high-quality work on time.

One of the more challenging tasks students may encounter is learning how to write a visual analysis. This type of writing involves interpreting visual elements within artwork or media, analyzing aspects like composition, color, and symbolism to understand…

  14. It appears you don’t respond to the various other posts about the same issue and haven’t addressed the problem in updates so I’m posting a new bug report here. Cannot believe how slow this programme is on my machine and it has been the same for months. Running Mac mini with Sonoma 14.2.1.

  15. Every time the app starts, the "What's new" window pops up which ****** me of.
Please, make an option like "Shut the duck up and never pop-up again" available just on this window.

  16. With the latest version of Adobe Acrobat the setting that previously worked to disable the Tools Pane on startup no longer works. This was obviously not added to regression testing procedures. I could not even take a screenshot of the Adobe Acrobat Reader version AS IT DISAPPEARS THE MOMENT I SELECT THE Microsoft Snipping tool!!! So ... via my smartphone camera, it's Continuous Release | Version 2023.003.20284 | 64-bit. I am using Windows 10 with latest updates.

  17. Change new tools to OPT in instead of OPT out with no clear mechanism. new versions of Acrobat are harder to navigate, harder to comment on and familiar features seem to have been shrouded or eliminated. keeping pdfs in the layout they came in is a bonus, not a liability. perhaps have a reader mode button, but otherwise let us look at the documents in total, even on tablets and phones. Feels like we lost many tools in the latest build and I have trouble finding ways to get around the loss adding way too many obstacles.

  19. In Acrobat, I can't edit an existing button (i.e click on it, right click to get options, etc) without 1st going into the button tool, and placing a new button to get the button selection tool. After that I can edit the existing button then delete the new button. There should be a button selection tool or something similar.
