To be able to search by Folder Name, not just document name.
Our folders are titled by Client Name, so we need to find FOLDERS, not Documents in the search bar.
Almost all our folders contain the same document titles for all the separate clients, so searching for a document name does not work at all. We must be able to search by FOLDER NAME in order to use the search function at all.
Thank you!

Acrobat Reader/Pro do not properly support word-by-word selection in macOS
- Open a PDF containing text in Acrobat Reader or Acrobat (18) in macOS (10.12.6) on the Mac (also applies to other versions).
- In order to select a string of words, double-click on the first word and, without releasing the mouse button, drag in the required direction to extend the selection.
Expected Result: Acrobat should select the word you double-clicked on, and THEN extend the selection word by word based on the direction of the dragging.
Observed Result: Acrobat selects the word you double-clicked on, and then fails to extend the selection.
The only way to select a string of words…

PDF Files Colors Look Washed Out/Dull
PDF files that are created in any Adobe CC product, while viewing in Acrobat DC, photos and colors look washed out/dull. When full screen is initiated the colors look like intended. But once back in the normal view they are dull. Creative Cloud used on 27 in. 2017 iMac 5k, macOS 10.13.3

Add auto-refresh (option) for externally modified PDF files
When you work on presentation or anything else in another application (e.g. Keynote or PowerPoint) you can browse the final result of slides in PDF format by using Acrobat Reader. In this cases every time you export updated version of the PDF file you have to close the older version, and reopen the file. It's really annoying and takes a lot of time.
I personally experience it while working with LaTeX that doesn't have a viewer. So, you quite often "export" to PDF and view via Acrobat. I have already seen other people that look for this feature and gave…

When sending a PDF as attachment and Outlook 2016, body of the e-mail is not included with what is eventually e-mailed.
When a PDF is opened and I select send as an attachment, Outlook 2016 opens with the file attached. I'm able to enter the body of the e-mail as normal. I can send the e-mail. The recipient does not see the text that was typed. It also does not show any text that was typed in the sent e-mail looking at sent items. This only occurs when sending a file through Adobe Acrobat DC. When I attach the file without going through Adobe, everything functions normally.

Get linking to web videos like on YouTube.com working again
10 years ago I was able to link to external video sites like YouTube.com and have videos appear in Adobe documents with Acrobat. But for some reason the software has a bug now and when placing a url into the dialog box it says "No media file has been specified. Please select one and try again." Can you please fix this soon. This is very frustrating since it use to work fine 10 years ago. Thank you.

Windows Acrobat XI save as problem
In Acrobat XI on Windows I save as the file to create another same file. But the text in the creating file has been modified.
Steps to eproduce:
1. Open the Demo File.pdf and click "Save As" in File tab.
2. Give a name and save it somewhere.
3. Reopen the new file you will easily find it is not the same as Demo File.pdf3 votesSorry to hear your problem.
Unfortunately, Acrobat XI is no longer a supported version.
Try out the latest, Acrobat DC. If the issue persists, let us know.
You can get Acrobat DC here:

Trial Expired
For some weird reason I probably tried Acrobat Pro DC but always had Acrobat. Since the trial expired I keep getting an error message saying I cannot access the features I normally used to even though I could have before this new Pro DC thingy!

Reduced Size PDF
Save as Other>Reduced Size PDF in DC - Adobe's prior versions of Acrobat reduced the file size much much more. DC Reduced Sized files are still too huge! It's not true they can't be reduced more in size because outside apps are able to do this without any difference in readability for basic use.

Add Account Manager
I would like to request that the account manager information be added to the Admin portal. This is not specific to a product. If I need to contact my account manager I have no way to look up this information and it seems to change frequently.

Acrobat file save is blank
I'm using Adobe Acrobat CC 2018 on an iMac using macOS High Sierra version 10.13.2. When I edit or create a pdf file, the save or save as commands bring up a BLANK field instead of the traditional save or save as field. I can't save any files. The only way to get the edited file or binder is to email it to myself. Is this something I can fix or is it a bug on CC 2018?

PDF pages simply go blank after 60+ mins
I have users that are experiencing the above described issue. They open up a single PDF, or multiple PDFs, and if they are left open for 60 mins or longer, all pages in the PDFs go blank.
Acrobat DC Pro (2015.006.30355), Windows 10, Microsoft Surface.
We are expecting the PDF pages to be available the entire time the PDF is open.
We've observed that it happens with multiple PDFs and requires the user to close all PDFs and reopen to resolve.3 votesCould you pls. share how are the PDFs being accessed? Are these kept on a network folder or shared (mapped n/w) drive? Or are you accessing them through a Citrix server or RDP?

Give an option for the size a PDF opens.
Revise so saved PDF files opens 100% instead of huge views like 137% Maybe there could be a option in settings for this feature.
3 votesYou can try Click “File” and select “Properties.” Click the “Initial View” tab and select “100%” from the Magnification drop-down menu.
You can save/close and re-open the PDF in 100% magnification always.
If you need this to be a global setting for all PDF, you can refer to https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/using/adjusting-pdf-views.html

BUG: LogTransport2.exe locks file handles on containing folder after pdf files are deleted
In many recent builds of Windows 10 with the CC version of Acrobat DC, If a pdf file is opened used and closed, the folder containing the file cannot be deleted even after the pdf file itself has been deleted. The cuase for this is that an Adobe logging process "LogTransport2.exe" holds an open file handle on the containing folder, and the folder cannot be deleted until the LogTransport2 process has been killed. This is a bug and should be fixed immediately.

Taskbar icon for Acrobat and Reader are exactly the same
How about having a different taskbar icon for Reader and Acrobat! There are some users that use both and it would be nice to be able to distinguish which program is which by looking at the icon! Like we USED to!

STOP with the advertising/up-sell notifications!
When I open a PDF, I expect to be able to interact with it as soon as it loads, not have to wait 15 seconds while a stupid up-sell overlay loads and then have to close that before I can actually READ the PDF. That **** should be in a newsletter, not in the **** app.
