Bug: A comment containing only a space character cannot be posted
When adding a comment that contains only a space character, the comment cannot be posted. This means that it is impossible to mark up changes that involve inserting a space, or replacing another character with a space in an 'import PDF comments' (https://helpx.adobe.com/uk/indesign/using/import-pdf-comments.html) workflow in InDesign.
Please allow posting of comments containing only a space character.

You made the app even worse with this new interface
Really, change it back to the old version and demote the team that thought this was a good idea.

Get rid of the AI (artificial intelligence) pop-ups!!!
This whole feature is a distraction. We cannot be so busy that we must now have artificial intelligence helping us with our jobs. The pop-up is always in the way; I can't turn it off no matter what I've tried from the recommendations, including reverting back to the "old" Adobe; the prior version of Acrobat is so old and has been out of use so long, now I'm trying to retrain where to find the simplest tools. I was happily used to using the newer version, until this AI piece was added in. Please get this out of here; it…

Killing work flow
Updates are killing work flow. It took me calling in to find out how to undo what the automatic updates changed. I get that change is a part of any program's life, but when your change interrupts the ability to smoothly work within the program, for no other reason than 'change is good', you are failing your customers. If you are going to continue to force change (bad changes at that) on your customers, get ready to loose them to 3rd party programs.
If change is required, add in a way that we can modify to keep what we need…

Request: Option to disable tabs
I would like to retain the ability to disable tabs, so that each file opens in a new window.

Who approved this new UI?
What was the perceived problem with the old interface? Did any user testing go into the redesign? I feel sorry for the designers and developers who had to implement this overhaul, and I feel disdain for the leadership that must have driven the change. Middle management should push back harder against initiatives like this.

Bad design
You have to ask, Who is in charge?!
Why does Adobe try their utmost to make their programmes so counter intuitive. Global industry standard since day one has been basic commands in the top LH corner. Not now, this backward programme stuffs them elsewhere, or completely hides/removes them.18 votes -
Recent update is one big bug basically
Trash the entire new system and go back to the previous version immediately. This is not a case of people needing to get used to it. It is fundamentally flawed in so many ways that I can't even list them. You can easily find them from anybody else who tries to use your software daily. The last major update prior to this was pretty poor, but this one is one of the worst interface updates I have ever seen for any platform. Ever.

Please listen to your cusomers. Change ADobe Acrobat back. Stop making life miserable for customers
Dear Acrobat,
Please listen to customers and stop alienating them. People become dependent on your product through work. Please restore the version you threw out. You are creating unnecessary pain. Why does your company resist real feedback?

New UX, Chiming in
Along with others I am horrified at the tragic mess the UX (yes, user experience) has become. The UI design is following the unfortunate trend of "unify everything" into a web/mobile topology that has been infecting applications for a while now.
I had a well-developed workflow in Acrobat Pro, that the new & obnoxious UI design, that you shoved down my CPU's throat, broke. More than that, the usability of the new atrocity is a step back.
A number of problems/defects are exhibited, but the three deal breakers are:
1- the floating toolbar (it's fine to have it as an…17 votes -
Not all changes make a product better
I shake my head every time a software company changes its look or its lay-out just for the sake of change. If it's not broke, LEAVE IT ALONE!!!
This week has been taxing because a good majority of my work deals with Adobe Pro documents. My muscle memory is completely off because y'all decided to flip the layout to opposite sides of the screen. I have to squint every time I'm looking for the print button. It's just like when Samsung decided to change sides for the volume and power buttons. Why?
Where is my "Save As" icon?!? I shouldn't…

In new layout I can't see the whole file name
In new layout there is no place where I can check the name of opened file. On tabs there is place only for short file names. When file name is longer I have to hover over the tab to see its name in tooltip. There should be possibility to show whole file name in other way.
In old layout whole filename is presented at the title bar.

Please do something about this god-awful "update. This is the WORST!!!!
This has to be the dumbest user interface "upgrade" I have ever seen in my LIFE!!!! Tasks that I used to breeze through are taking me forever. The **** stamps won't turn off after I use it one time and only need it one time. I used to be able to copy text boxes and paste them. Way to foul things up!!!

Revert to the previous version's commenting tools
Things change - as does the UI - that is fine. Professionals working with Adobe Pro have adapted before. However, the changes have DOUBLED the amount of time it takes to mark up a PDF and as far as I can see there is no solution for this.
We are not longer able to highlight text, start typing and have text automatically replaced. We also have to select the tool, then implement the mark up.
We are not able to pick a spot in the text, start typing and have text automatically inserted. We also have to select the tool,…

Floating Tools Bar
This new floating, unhideable toolbar needs to go! Give me the old tools interface back. It is unfathomable to me that Adobe is just going to push out this interface with no choice for the customer. It might seem like a small change, but this appears to have been done with very little thought for the user.

Remove "what's next" side panel button
The new "what's next" side panel button does not go away when de-selecting it from the side panel tool bar. It abruptly opens after changing between tools like Scan/OCR to Accessibility. This happens after editing a PDF as well. It is disruptive and unhelpful for my workflow.

If it ain't broke, don't fix it!! This is horrible with diminished functionality
This is someone else's comment, but so apropos! "Visual designers managed to ruin a tool that was excellent and practical. The environment is now completely different, difficult to use, confusing, with no work flow. I would recommend a book to designers: Steve Krug's "Don't Make Me Think"."
This is impossible to use.
I chose the "user interface" category only because I couldn't select "all of the above." I also created an account for the sole purpose of posting this.
