Missing sign in force closes an unsaved pdf form!I have several computers I'm using Creative Cloud on. I can't keep up which is signed in and out. I work a lot with pdf forms. What happens is I'm filling an important form and suddenly Acrobat DC just quits without any warning, not asking whether to save. All work is completely lost and not retrievable! Then I can normally do the sign out from other computers and sign in the current computer (with my Adobe ID), but it's too late, the work is already lost. It's a terrible problem and should be fixed immediately. If the user has an… 1 voteThanks for your feedback. We are looking into this. Meanwhile could you please let us know whether Acrobat which is not signed in quits immediately after launch or after a while. If it quits after a while, could you please let us know the time period say 1 minute or 5 minutes or more which Acrobat takes to quit on launch.

Preference option to minimize RH Tools pane on file open in Adobe Acrobat Pro DCIn a preferences option such that the Tools pane (on right hand sight of document window) will or will not display on PDF file open. his will save time for what I anticipate is a large percentage of users that open PDF documents to read / comment without necessarily using the tools pane on RH side of the window. 1 vote

Acrobat Pro sets some form fields to "visible but doesn't print" (even after it is set to "Visible") when a digital signature is applied.Acrobat Pro sets some form fields to "visible but doesn't print" in my document even after I have set it to "Visible" when a digital signature is applied. I have to keep opening up old documents and fix fields that were automatically changed when I specifically set them to be "Visible" again. 1 vote

Error 1328Over and over waste time downloading and trying to install patch to file C:\config.msi\PT56F8.tmp. It has probably been updated by other means, and can no, longer be modified by this patch. This error comes from Adobe Updater, and has occurred repeatedly over the past several months. Nuisance time waster, and BIG interruption of task in progress. Would appreciate correcting sloppy programming. 3 votesMarking this issue as resolved as there is no response from the user.

File not viewing correctly in Acrobat XIWhen opening certain pdf files, the screen preview is not correct. The background "disappears". Sometimes though, the background will still print but sometimes it does not. I am on Mac in system Sierra and have tried these files on multiple computers including a pc, with extensions off etc. and always that same result. What I see is not what I get. If I place the pdf file in InDesign it will preview correctly and also export correctly so something InDesign does corrects the problem. I am attaching a file to demonstrate the issue. 2 votes

Bug - MacOS 10.12.5 (Named) installer as Unidentified DeveloperI've created an Acrobat Pro for Named installer (Via Admin Console) for the MacOS 10.12.5. Downloaded and ran the installer. The OS terminated the installer because it was an "Unidentified Developer". I was able to install it after going to System Preferences > Security & Privacy and check OK to install. The reason I state this issue is most end users will not know what to do. So this needs to be corrected (maybe Apple.com). 1 vote

Bug: Converting spot colour to cymk PFF corrupts .tiff imageBug.
Customer supplied files from InDesign cs6 with .tiff picture over a solid spot colour.
When converting the file to CYMK via acrobat pro, the tiff picture corrupts leaving a white space instead of the correct image.
PDF fix up fail to spot or fix issue. Could only be solved by editing original InDesign files, changing spot to CYMK and informing customer.1 vote

Protected PDFCurrently, if you PDF a document and added the current Protection features in order to stop it from being converted back to Word. You can actually upload it to many PDF to Word converters on the internet and it will convert the PDF document back to Word without asking for the password. So a better security feature is needed. Especially for company sensitive documents that I want to PDF, protect and stop anyone from converting back to word. 2 votesDear User, While implementing password protection, Acrobat warns user that ,third party apps may not honor the permissions that are being set on the file. Please open the file in Acrobat/Reader itself to honor the permissions.
Or you can protect the document with certificate .

Startup window should open at Startup AND when all PDFs are closedIt's good for those of us who utilize Document Cloud and Creative Cloud to have the startup window with access to these files. However, if you close all of the PDFs you have open, this window is no where to be found unless you quit and restart the application (unless it's hiding somewhere in a menu, but why would that be?). 1 vote
