BUG REPORT!!!!!!! Replacing a TOC page with list of hyperlinks FAILS - why is Acrobat such a piece of garbage??!??!?!??!?!?!??!?!?
I was hoping to post a bug report on this piece of garbage [SH*T] application but here I am joining a group to post this to everyone who needs to know just what an absolute piece of garbage Adobe Acrobat is, and has always been.
908-page doc with two pages of the 8 pages of contents that needs to be replaced with two new pages that have external hyperlinks.
These two page work exactly as they should as separate standalone pages.
But when I replace - side note - why is the text window on this also garbage platform cutting off the text I am typing? Did no one test this garbage as well... when I replace the two pages in the 908-page document, the EFFING hyperlinks disappear, all I have is two pages of blue underlined text with no operative hyperlinks.
So here I am once again with this utterly pathetic useless garbage app doing what should be a 5-minute update and I am now an hour or more into NOT GETTING THIS DONE.
Who is responsible for Adobe Acrobat and why do they exist?
I am NOT posting an IDEA - I am posting a TIRADE because once again a simple operation in the most useless piece of **** application Adobe has ever dreamed up is sucking time from me and the client is waiting.
Refund my entire year's subscription because this is what it is costing me in time and money - and it should only take 5 minutes.
Sick and tired of Adobe's ********. Sell the company back to someone who knows what they're doing.
Idiots.
So now I have signed up for this wonderful group of complainants and I cannot click the POST IDEA button - IT IS A BUG REPORT. WHAT PART OF BUG REPORT IS ADOBE NOT UNDERSTANDING????????????

Merging locked PDF files without removing integrity
In our process it is regularly needed to submit our work of multiple months/years to authorities. This requires a flattened PDF file of all documents included with valid signatures and all other properties. But it is not possible to do this without losing individual properties and signatures.

Windows Can't Open My Hard Drive After Sudden Power Failure
I'm hoping someone here has experienced something similar because it gave me quite a scare.
A few days ago, I was transferring nearly 80GB of office documents, project files, photos, and videos from my laptop to an external hard drive. Unfortunately, there was a sudden power outage in the middle of the transfer. After restarting my computer, Windows detected the hard drive, but every time I tried to open it, I received an error saying the drive was inaccessible. Disk Management showed the drive, but I couldn't access any of my files.
I searched online and found suggestions like running CHKDSK or formatting the drive. However, since the drive contained important work data collected over several years, I didn't want to risk making the situation worse. Instead, I looked for a recovery solution designed for inaccessible and corrupted drives.
After reading several discussions, I decided to try SysTools Data Recovery Software. The software scanned my hard drive thoroughly and displayed the recoverable files before recovery, which gave me confidence that the data was still there. I was able to recover most of my documents, spreadsheets, PDFs, images, and videos while preserving the original folder structure. The interface was also straightforward, so I didn't have to spend much time figuring out how to use it.
The experience taught me two important lessons: always keep a recent backup and avoid writing new data to a drive after it becomes corrupted, as that can reduce recovery chances.
Has anyone else faced a similar issue after a sudden power failure? If so, what recovery method worked for you, and were you able to recover all of your files?

Edits on one page appearing across other pages of a document
When I edit a document, whether it be striking out a word or adding a new paragraph it will past the same actions across multiple pages within my document. Its a bug I cant seem to get rid off. I just want the one area edited not pasting what I am editing across every page of my document. Makes the program unusable.

Saving Files Popup Shrinks every time i save a file...
2 Things, when doing CTRL+S the save a PDF popup comes up where i can select where I want to save the Popup, which then just opens the Windows UI where i have to select the location again! This is super annoying! Why do I need to select it twice!
2nd thing, the First Popup that is part of the Adobe software, continually gets smaller every time you save a file, so every time I save it shrinks about 15% until its completely unusable without having to resize it... so what I do is make it take up the ENTIRE screen, and it gets me about 10 files before its unusable, and I have to resize it again, and when working through hundreds of PDFs an hour, these both gets super annoying and really kills productivity.

CTRL+C & CTRL+V DOES NOT WORK!
There is not much to say except what is in the title: CTRL+C & CTRL+V DOES NOT WORK!
If I want to copy some data from pdf I need to do right click and then click again to copy. This is slowing me down terribly. I think I will cancel my subscription and move to alternatives.2 votes -
text box default size too long!!!
When you add a text box, the size of the default box is too long and you have to manually shrink the box to the left. If you don't, it can cover another box and then you can't adjust it because the boxes overlap. When boxes overlap, you have to drag one of the out of the way to edit the other one, then manually drag the first box back into place. There should be an option to specify, as default, the internal/external margins of the text box instead of having this long rectangle as an unchangeable default!

default font/color/format
Adobe claims the issue of setting a default font and size has been resolved. This is not so. You can set the default font in the Preferences>content section, but there is no option to set the color or formatting such as bold or italic. These should be part of setting the font characteristics!

comments cause crashing bug
When You try to create a new annotation for a PDF in Acrobat, on a multi-language Windows 11, and you change the language before the form for entering the comment pops up- and then try to type -- Acrobat crashes. This has been the case for the past several versions of Acrobat.

Why do parts of my documents disappear after I try to save my document?
I type out on a document. I have the whole thing ready to save. I save the document and random letters do not save on the typed areas that I have created. I use Windows 11.
This seems to be counterintuitive to the functionality of PDF's. Please help2 votes -

When I name fields so I can merge multiple templates of a doc, adobe crashes if I do not close out the properties box before clicking the next field. This started last week and has slowed my work to a crawl.

Microsoft Purview Sensitivity Label with Digital signature
Currently if a PDF file is digitially signed, we cannot change the Purview sensitivity label without impacting digital signature.
We are looking to have a feature developed to modify / create sensitivity label without impacting digital signature in the pdf's.
This feature is required. because we are required to apply specific sensitivity labels when documents are shared externally.

Modernize and consolidate the Accessibility tagging features in Acrobat
Make it easier to use Acrobat's accessibility interface.
Make a keyboard shortcut to add New Tags or add multiple tags.
REMOVE "AUTO TAG DOCUMENT" FROM IMMEDIATELY BELOW "NEW TAG." Or at least add a confirmation that you want to Auto Tag.
Allow us to UNDO Auto Tagging. (Auto tagging sucks, by the way)
Maybe read and apply all of the feature requests and bug reports that will improve the accessibility features instead of sitting on them for 10+ years?
Merge the reading order and tag panel so that they're not always glitching each other. Making changes to the reading order will often completely mess up the tags.
Fix bugs where tagging selections just doesn't work.
Fix bugs where the program crashes randomly when trying to tag unmarked content.
Just make everything more user-friendly.It isn't hard to understand the concept of tagging for accessibility, but for some reason Acrobat uses the most archaic, convoluted interface and processes to apply those tags. Considering that every government agency out there is rushing to make their PDF documents accessible to comply with Title II of the ADA, you would think more resources might have gone towards making this program (which is considered the standard tool for this type of work) actually useable. If Adobe doesn't do it, someone else will create a program that will.

The AI pop ups don't disappear when removed from preferences.
Every single time I open a pdf there are pop ups. Even if I am logged in. I have to change the preferences for each document I open, even if it's a document I've opened up regularly and changed the preferences for several times. Please fix this. It's really annoying.

Tabs
Is it possible to make the "Create+" to just "+". There is already a drop down mean that show's up when you take the cursor over it, that icon does not need to show create along with it. This can lead to showing an extra tab.
