Bug: New feature notification popups can cause failure of opening PDFs from last session on Acrobat launch
If you have the setting to "Open PDFs from last session on Acrobat launch" enabled, but Adobe Acrobat has updated since its last launch and attempts to pop up a new feature notification WHILE it is opening your PDFs from the previous session, it can trigger an error that causes all the rest of your previous-session PDFs to fail to open. Specifically, an error stating "There was an error opening this document. Acrobat cannot open this file because a task is still active in Acrobat. Please return to Acrobat and end the task before opening this file." pops up OVER the new feature popup that is CAUSING the error; so you cannot close the new feature popup and can only click "OK" on the error popup, which abandons the attempt to open that PDF. Then, if there were multiple PDFs that Acrobat had not loaded before the new feature popup appeared, the error will immediately re-appear for the next PDF; and this repeats until all of your remaining PDFs have been lost. Only then can you close the new feature notification popup, and closing and re-opening Acrobat does not automatically re-open the PDFs that failed to load, leaving you to go through your files and manually re-open each PDF that was lost (assuming that you can even remember what they all were). This issue occurred to me today (see attached screenshot), and I've also experienced it on one or two other occasions over the past several years. I only use Windows PCs, so I don't know whether this bug exists on Mac. The obvious solution would be to either prevent any new feature notification popups from occurring until ALL previous-session PDFs are finished loading, or to prevent new feature notification popups from interfering with the opening of PDF files.

You have generative AI but you can't match a font
Focus on the basics... I can't edit my PDF because you don't have the Montserrat font. But you've added generative AI. Maybe focus on the basics first.

Is it possible to make adobe capable of showing one document on one screen and one document on another.
I would like to be able to compare documents, without having to print them. Most of us work with 2 screens these days so being able to show one document on screen 1 and another document on screen 2 would be excellent.

New Experience is causing a failure
The new experience view is causing an issue and will not load documents that need signatures on them. The only thing that happens is that it spins as though it's trying to load those pages. When I switch to the classic experience, either online or in the app, everything works just fine.

Stop tellinig me I can edit a PDF every single $(!*! time I open a PDF
Nearly each time I open adobe it pops up and reminds me I can edit PDFs
I GOT IT
I GET IT
I JSUT WANT TO #$(!( READ MY GOD DAMMED ($!(! PDF .I miss the early 2000's when Adobe worked, was relaible ,and didn't constantly **** stuff around
For example, I needed to redact a PDF, it only let me select text but the PDF was improperly created so the text colums were all over the place.
All I needed to do was drop a simple redcatiion box, SIMPLEFire your project manager, get some real users in there and have them lead the product not these useless PM's who feel they can only justify their employment by bloating the **** out of Adobe.
Ok, rant over. Meanwhile, I'm off to look at Foxit.

Customization for all default shortcut icons
It makes no sense that customizing the tool bar is limited in that the default tools can't be deleted or even moved lower. Same goes for the side panel. Same goes for the navigation bar. Everyone uses the product differently, requiring/preferring widely varied views and tools. I don't see why adobe wouldn't provide full customization in order to better serve every user. Some of the default icons are ones I will absolutely never click on but I have no choice but to have and keep them in the prime and easiest to access locations on the page.

Stop trying to enforce cloud
One button should be enough to stop Adobe to try and force users into the cloud for sending PDFs, attachments and so on.
And the users decision should survive any updates.4 votes -
Include local documentation with the app.
Include documentation with the program. The Help interface only lists a link to the online documentation under "Visit Acrobat help online." This is useless for systems that do not have a network connection to the Internet. The program should include a local copy of the documentation that can be read offline.

7 Common Causes of Flat Tires and How to Prevent Them
Flat tires are an inconvenience that most drivers will face at some point. Whether it's during a quick commute or a long road trip, a flat tire can derail your plans and create frustration. However, understanding the common causes of flat tires can help you take preventative measures to avoid them. In this article, we will explore seven frequent reasons for flat tires and what you can do to keep your tires in optimal condition.
1. Punctures by Sharp Objects
One of the most common causes of a flat tire is a puncture by sharp objects, such as nails, screws, or glass. These hazards can easily pierce through your tire's rubber, leading to a slow leak or immediate deflation.
Prevention: Regularly inspect your tires for embedded objects and be mindful of where you drive, especially through construction sites or debris-strewn roads. If you spot a nail or similar object lodged in the tire, don’t pull it out immediately; this could worsen the leak. Instead, get the tire checked by a professional.
2. Underinflation
Driving with underinflated tires can lead to uneven wear, which weakens the tire's structure and increases the risk of a blowout. Tires with low air pressure generate excessive heat, particularly during long drives, which can damage the sidewalls and cause a rupture.
Prevention: Use a tire pressure gauge to check the pressure at least once a month or before long trips. Follow your vehicle manufacturer’s recommendations for optimal tire pressure, which can usually be found on a sticker in the driver's side door frame or in the owner’s manual.
3. Overloading the Vehicle
Carrying more weight than your vehicle's recommended load capacity can put undue stress on your tires. Overloaded tires are more susceptible to blowouts and excessive wear, as they carry the extra load unevenly.
Prevention: Make sure your vehicle’s load capacity, which is typically listed on the same label as tire pressure recommendations, is not exceeded. When moving heavy items, distribute the weight evenly to reduce strain on individual tires.
4. Hitting Potholes or Curbs
Potholes, curbs, and other road hazards can cause immediate tire damage, especially if hit at high speeds. The impact can lead to a pinch flat, where the tire is compressed between the object and the wheel rim, causing a tear or puncture.
Prevention: Be cautious of road conditions and avoid potholes and curbs whenever possible. If you can’t avoid them, try to slow down to minimize the impact. Regularly inspect your tires and rims for any visible damage after hitting an obstacle.
5. Worn Tire Tread
As tires wear down, they become more susceptible to punctures and flats. Bald tires lack sufficient tread to grip the road properly and are more prone to blowouts due to their weakened structure. In wet conditions, they are also more likely to cause hydroplaning.
Prevention: Check the tread depth of your tires using the penny test: insert a penny into the tire's tread with Lincoln's head facing downward. If you can see the top of Lincoln's head, it’s time to replace your tires. Rotating your tires regularly can also help ensure even wear, extending their lifespan.
6. Valve Stem Leaks
The valve stem, which allows you to inflate the tire, can develop leaks over time due to damage or wear. A faulty valve stem can cause a slow loss of air, leading to a flat tire if not addressed. Dirt, debris, and exposure to the elements can also contribute to valve stem deterioration.
Prevention: During regular tire maintenance, ask your mechanic to inspect the valve stems for wear or damage. If you notice air leaking around the valve, have it replaced as soon as possible. A quick visual inspection when inflating your tires can also help detect early signs of leaks.
7. Extreme Temperatures
Fluctuating temperatures can cause your tire pressure to increase or decrease rapidly. In hot weather, the air inside the tire expands, potentially leading to overinflation and a blowout. Conversely, cold weather can cause underinflation, which increases the risk of a flat tire.
Prevention: Check your tire pressure more frequently during temperature extremes, especially in the summer and winter months. Tire pressure tends to drop about 1-2 PSI for every 10°F decrease in temperature, so it’s essential to adjust accordingly.
