Adobe Acrobat Crashing when Clicking Fillable Fields too Quickly After Launch
I've encountered 2 separate instances of a replicable issue with Adobe Acrobat crashing upon clicking a fillable field shortly after the document is opened.
The workaround is to allow a few seconds for Adobe to "finish loading", indicated by the 7-day Trial banner appearing in instances of non-licensed users. Any clicks prior to this message appearing will cause the application to crash/close out without an error message.
I'm unsure if it has anything to do with how the document was created.
Application: Adobe Acrobat (64-bit)

The capture button has disappeared!
I used to print details of the pages, and to do so I used the "Capture" button. Now that button has disappeared and I can't edit the buttons bar to add it back.

Optimization should be quicker
Choosing to optimize a single PDF should be quicker; even multiple files for that matter should be. It requires too many clicks. There should be a button to optimize and save the currently viewed PDF to its current file-system location. Or have a droplet that allows us to drop PDFs onto it. It’s laborious right now.

Edit Form to E-signature
When I Request e-signature an editable PDF form, the format and all my fillable forms are gone.
I need to print the filled-up form initially and then open the printed PDF and then do the e-signature thing. It takes extra steps.
Hopefully, you guys can fix this quick bug and so we can go directly to e-signature directly from the editable form.

New version is not a sustainable option for Construction Industry
I work in the construction industry and use the edit and search features on a daily basis. Typically, I am adding text, using E-Sign, combining files, and exporting to excel.
The new version of Adobe Acrobat is nothing short of a headache:
- Auto-recognizes text boxes that are not there
- Will divide pages into a grid for no reason
- Will recognize text as an image
- No longer recognizes text with ease
- You cannot add a textbox to an area on the page where a "text box" is auto-recognized (when there actually isn't one there)
- Can no longer move or resize text boxes
- Cannot rearrange pages
- Exporting to Excel has become absolutely comical, adding addition columns and rows, cutting off text, adding ridiculous formatting, etc.The updated version is absolutely deplorable.
Should there be a mandatory upgrade to the latest version, I will be advising my employer to move over to similar software and to stop using Adobe. What used to take me 10 minutes now takes me nearly 45 minutes. So disappointing. I will continue to use the older version for the time being, but this latest update has left a sour taste.

Less whitespace in the bookmarks panel
The line spacing between bookmarks in the bookmarks panel is now a full line, meaning the content of this panel is 50% wasted space. Plus they are all indented, which is more wasted space especially because many now spill over onto a second line. On my 1440-pixel tall display, I can see 30 items. But if I open the same document in Firefox, the bookmark panel shows 42 items. So it's much easier to find what I am looking for in a long document.
Please don't design everything for touch. I don't need giant touch targets. I want to see more content. PDFs are about reading and finding information, and requiring more scrolling to get to everything is not helpful.
(I also don't like that you decided for no reason to move the bookmarks from the left side to the right side.)

Working Hard to Make Life Miserable for Users
What in the world were you thinking? Let's see... How hard can we make it to use our once-productivity-enhancing product? This is simply change for evil's sake. I'm going to stop using AAP altogether. What a disaster.

Zapier integration!
It is critically important that you create a Zapier integration to allow for automation of collecting signatures from clients.

Minimize Edit Menu
The "old Adobe" version used to allow one to minimize the Edit / Comment panes while keeping the tool used active.
The "new Adobe" edit pane opens up every time I try to add text covering half the document making it extremely difficult to edit my document when I can't see half of it and need multiple windows open on 1 screen.
The Toolbar pane used is now on the side instead of locked at the top increasing the width of the document even more. The options are left side or right side.
When clicking on the text one has to click on the 'Add Text' tool button, click another tool option, then click back on the 'Add Text' button before the text formatting will appear.
I'm hoping these are bugs as fewer customizable options are certainly not benefits.

The new layout with for Adobe Pro is much harder to navigate
The new layout with for Adobe Pro with the tools on the left and the pages/bookmarks on the right is much harder to use. After so many years, why were they switched around? Please bring back the search field so that I can find tools. Everything I use is now hidden under layers of menus and really small icons.

Remove some of the clutter
Remove some of the clutter on the top bar, it make so I can see only 2 or 3 tabs since the update.
I also wish you would allow us to make the checkmark smaller than the current smallest setting. It is clumsy for fine print text.

Double popups when extracting pages
Open a multi-page document. Go to the "Organize pages" tool. Right click a page thumbnail in the righthand view. In the popup menu, click "Extract Pages". A dialog window pops up where you can select the page to extract, whether to delete the extracted page, and whether to extract each page as a separate document. After a moment, a second popup appears on the tool pane, with a duplication of the latter two options.
The Acrobat team really, really likes popups, eh?

BUG Report: "Fit Page" default option doesn't work under Preferences
In the Preferences, under "Page Display", under "Default Layout and Zoom", under "zoom", your option of "Fit Page" doesn't work. This "Fit page" option is synonymous with the "Fit Height" option that is available through the Acrobat interface. This default option should open all PDF files as one-page per screen. This option used to work in the previous version of Acrobat, but the new version has a bug.
Please fix the BUG. The Fit Page default option doesn't work.4 votes -
