tabbing fillable fields only to get the comments field popping up?!
testing the fillable fields in my PDF form. Tabbing to the next field is no longer working? Why?
Instead of tabbing to the next field, I am getting the comments function popping up, with a marker in a random location on the page. Why?
If this happens to me, what is this going to do for someone who is filling in the form?1 vote -
OCR search and copy on Japanese text
Just tried this out on a scanned PDF of Japanese text with the latest Acrobat Pro (2023.008.20470) and the results were completely unusable. Searching for any text on the page had zero results (even simple hiragana). Copying and pasting text gave me wildly inaccurate kanji and other symbols. macOS Preview does a pretty good job of letting me search and copy text from the same document, even my own poor handwriting, and I don't even have to wait for a progress bar.

Full file name displayed at the top of the page
Bring back the full file name in one of the top toolbars. Knowing the file name at a glance is extremely important, especially when working within a team and with multiple versions. With the latest version of Acrobat, I can no longer tell which file I'm working on even when I only have a single file open. The tabs don't show enough of the file name to give me that information.

Toolbar in the way
Please dock the toolbar to the side at all times. I do like the new toolbar, but it blocks text on the PDFs, meaning I have to take the time to pan and zoom and adjust just to read what it is blocking, it's just unnecessary. Just have it docked always. Also, I will say I'm not the biggest fan of how the thumbnails are shown, but that's a different and much less important issue. The new "floating" toolbar (that you cannot move) obstructs the documents and should just be docked to the side so you can see an unobstructed view at all times.

Selected Page Number Wrong When Printing Selected Pages to new PDF
Scenario/Description: I have a large PDF that is 310 pages, so I'd like to print selected pages to a new PDF for smaller files. e.g. print pages 168 - 208. Upon printing selected pages to a new PDF, it opens the created file and the total page count is correct, but the selected page number is wrong as it starts its count from its position in the original file (i.e. so instead of showing page 1 out of 41, it shows page 168 out of 41).
Preconditions: PDF with multiple pages open (310 from scenario above) in Adobe Acrobat Pro.
Steps:
- Open Print dialogue (Ctrl + P, or Menu > Print)
- Set printer to Adobe PDF if not already selected
- Select Pages under Pages to Print
- Select page range starting on a page greater than 1 (e.g. 168 - 201)
- Click Print button
Expected Result: When the new PDF is printed, it shows the correct page number for the selected page (i.e. 1 out of 41)
Actual Result: The new PDF represents page 1 as 168 out of 41, and the issue persists even when the application and file are closed and reopened.

64 bits user interface is terrible
I've updated from 32 to 64 bits Adobe acrobat Pro and the user interface experience is terrible:
* I don't find anywhere the add textbox.
* I don't see the number of pages nor the present page number
* I cannot add a button to take snapshots and to take an snapshot I have to go to the text / tool search. I cannot find the option in the menus.I miss a lot the 32 bits user interface. I loose a lot of time looking for commands that where easy to find in the 32 bits version.

annotations
In the "new acrobat" interface, it is now very tedious to add annotations. It is two more clicks than in the old Acrobat (multiply that with thousands of annotations and you see the problem).
Please add the following functionality (available in "old acrobat"):
- When you have selected some text, and start typing, it will add the "replace text" annotation.
- When you place the text marker in the text, and start typing, it will add the "insert text" annotation.
Also:
* When you select some text, you get a little contextual toolbar pop-up. Please add a button for the "replace text" annotation to this toolbar.If possible, you could also add back the horizontal toolbar along the top instead of the floating one. It had much more buttons available right away when adding annotations without so much extra pointless clicking.
Due to these inefficiencies we have to keep explaining to hundreds of our users how to revert to the old Acrobat. :/

Acrobat Reader not compatible with windows 11 windows management
Not possible to manage windows spliting properly : left, right, corner, ... using the minimize standard feature (square left to X quit).

Option in the Adobe Admin Console for checking account usage.
Not related to Acrobat, it's for overall Adobe. Support advised in E-001162887 that we cannot check for information on whether a user's account was set up and/or logged into. They referred me to submit a feature request on this site, but there's no option for the admin console. One benefit this feature could help with is identifying and cleaning up stale accounts.

PAGE ERROR

Lost the pen, only have highlighter, and NO eraser
Very aggravating when sometimes there is a pen and a highlighter but no eraser, then the pen disappears and difficult to locate.

Address Book for the receipient
Should allow the user to save the receipient name and email, so that do not required to re-key the receipient name and email address when sent document for signature.

Shared Documents Buggy
Sharing documents via Acrobat is unstable.
I quite often open the 'Shared by you' tab to have it load indefinitely and never show documents. Occasionally it gives me the message that there are no shared documents.
Furthermore, often once I do finally open a shared document, I see the message 'Loading shared comments' indefinitely.
The whole process seems unreliable, slow and full of bugs.

I understand engineers need to make a living, and therefore must come up with new and adventurous ways to "optimize" content. With the 23.001.20177 release of Pro tools are now delegated to one visible and one hidden list in the left sidebar. PDF standards are near the bottom of the hidden list. I use this all the time, so now I must go through multiple points and clicks to perform a task that was one click before. Either go back to the previous configuration or allow the toolbar to be customized. (I saw "solved" on an old previous thread on this topic. It isn't)

glitch+highlight
Whenever I try to highlight some text on a pdf, it keeps glitching to the next page either fully or just partly. The highlight output comes out fine but it becomes pretty annoying to keep highlighting aimlessly with the hope that it is right and I don't have to redo.
