Printing is awful
Printing is almost none exsistant from Adobe since the last and most recent update. I have had nothing but issues since the previous update. I hoped this lastest would resolve and no I think its worse.

Bug report: Adobe Acrobat Pro search is slow
Adobe Acrobat Pro: opening the search bar freezes application for ~5 seconds
This is on Adobe Acrobat Pro, version 2024.200.20736, 64-bit on Windows 10 with an expired subscription. Whenever I open the search bar or type text into the search bar, the entire application freezes for about 5 seconds. This makes search annoying to use for even simple situations.

Crashing when clicking on a form (2023.008.20421 64 bit)
This is a bug report.
A user reported Acrobat is crashing when opening a PDF and clicking on a textbox to edit it. It happens 2 out of 3 times on multiple PDF's.
We repaired the installation, reinstalled, removed the AppData\Local\Acrobat folder and also removed the Acrobat reg key but the problem persists.
I took a copy of a document and ran it on the previous version of Acrobat reader (On another PC outside of the users environment) and it didn't crash.
I then updated to the latest version (2023.008.20421 64 bit) and tested again, and the problem happens.
Therefore it's a bug with the latest version rather than the document / users environment.

running slower than molasses going uphill on a subzero day
It took me no less than 2.5 hours to edit a PDF, prepare the form and request signatures. It felt like I was using dial up internet and have never seen the spinning wheel of death that much since 1998. I am not sure what is happening with the programming but y'all need to speed this up because I do NOT have the time to waste just waiting for the program to respond to mouse clicks or keyboard clacks.

blank window pop up with nothing to select and lost all unsaved work
I was reviewing some comments, accepting, rejecting etc. and for no reason a blank white pop up with Abode Acrobat heading popped up disabling me from being able to save or continue with the only option being to end adobe in task manager. Why am I paying money for this software I wonder?

At 2024.05.10. at about 22:27 i got charged for 65 EUR. I found it strange, because i am not subscribe to any adobe stuff. I check every possible way i can somehow have other account (google, apple, facebook, normal one didn't even worked). I want my money back, because it is a lot of money for me (broke collage boy). I tought about telling my bank about this that this was an error or something and get a refound and get my card frozen, but i doN't know if I'll ahve any legal issue. I tried to translate the details on screenshot about the transaction.

Unable to Save As PDF-A

Acrobat add-in causes Word to become unresponsive when inserting a link.
After installing the Acrobat add in to word, Word would become unresponsive when attempting to insert a link into the document. from the insert tab, to Links and link, the "Insert Hyperlink" window would pop up, and Word would go unresponsive and would need task manager to force quit.
After disabling the Acrobat add in, Word was able to insert hyperlinks into Word docs without issue upon restart.

Acrobat locks up when signing in via Google
I open a PDF and Acrobat launches fine. I click "Sign in" on the top right. I click "Continue with Google" and it launches a browser window and says "You're all set!". Acrobat locks up. I can't click on anything. The only way to close it is via the taskbar.

when hilighting a pdf on an ipad with Adob pro, allow text highlighted to be copied to comment, or allow exporting highlighted text. in
On theipad, this settings option is not available and its extremely frustrating because I would like to read/annotate on my ipadt I can then export (essentially exporting my "notes" from the pdf). On my ipad, this settings option is not available and its extremely frustrating because I would like to read/annotate on my ipad as the highlight functionality there is superior to desktop.
Also, I have a university/enterprise account and couldnt login to vote/submit the comment because the SSO option is not enabled for this page.

Comments Shouldn't Spam Mentioned Users
Comment workflow will often be one user making a pass over the document, followed by another user, and so on. Currently every @mentioned user is sent an e-mail the moment you mention them, which floods everyone's inboxes and leads to users editing a document before it's ready. Suggest copying Word's system, where users are invited to comment when the user chooses, rather than the instant they are mentioned.

PDFMaker adding unwanted characters to Word running headers
When using running headers in Microsoft Word, extra characters are inserted into some running headers that use StyleRef fields. The particular circumstance is when the heading used to populate the running header appears in a previous section of the document. PDFMaker injects tracking characters into the heading before processing the header field, so the tracking characters are inserted into the field.

1. Initial situation: There is no Adobe Reader window currently opened.
2. Open any pdf document by double-clicking from Windows explorer
3. Close right after opening (or at least within the first 3 seconds) by clicking the "x" on the PDF tabExpected result: PDF Tab gets closed but Adobe Reader Window remains open.
Actual result: Adobe Reader crashes.
Additional Information: It also crashes if you click the "x" on the window itself, but here it doesn't matter since we want Adobe to be closed. If it closes with a crash it doesn't acutally matter.

• workspace that has been set up disappears again and again and has to be set up once more and more
• content of pdfs is sometimes only displayed in fragments and flashes continuously
• after each work step, screen turns white and I can no longer see any of the content – that means, close pdf-file, open again, other work step, closing pdf-file, open again, other work step – and so goes the story on…
• all the tools are no longer where they originally were
and so much more!!!the old version was stable, user friendly and intuitive!
so if you want an idea – bring the old version back…where shall I begin…

Permanently close tools and bookmarks
Please provide an easy 1-click way to completely hide all extrenuous panes when opening any document. This means :
- No bookmaarks on the right.
- No tools on the left.
There are a mess of settings all over the place, and comments on previous related issues to multiple steps to take, but all these seem out of date. This should be a single 1-click check box in the main preferences, completely overriding all other settings.
Even better: Acrobat Reader should learn from the fact that I close these panes every single time I open the app (multiple times per day), and just do the right thing.
As a paying customer for multiple Adobe products, the poor experience with Acrobat Reader reflects poorly on Adobe.

For the latest version Acrobat (23.6.20320.0
), Snapshot is no longer listed in Edit and not able to be found in Tools, unless trigger it via the search bar, working efficiency is impacted for dealing with some large image, could you fix it asap?7 votes
