Floating tool bar on left covers text in documents
Please move the quick access tool bar that is floating on the left side to the top again. It covers part of the document and that is really bad when one needs several documents open next to each other!

BUG: Can no longer search all documents in a directory
Acrobat Pro will not search all documents in a directory. It gives 0 results for any key words. I ended up combining all the PDFs in the directory and searching within the combined PDF. Please fix! I use this every day for my work.

A bug in the split function
I use the bookmarks and split pages by them, but the new version of View has a bug.
The function doesn't save the files in my destination folder and also forgets the choice to use the "Top level bookmarks" option and has just split the files in the original folder.
I didn't have a problem splitting pages in the previous view.
I hope you can fix this.
I have to do the same thing repeatedly, sometimes it works, but usually it doesn't.2 votes -
Adobe Sign - Add select all/add reminders for all
Please add the option to select all or select multiple documents to add reminders. When sending out hundreds of documents to be signed it is too time consuming to go back in and add a reminder on each one for the recipient to be reminded to sign the document.

WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO THIS INTERFACE?!
I edit PDFs on the regular and the old system was easy, I could run through it with minimal fuss. A lot of the PDFs I receive are scanned and come through upside down. I could click and drag pages from one PDF to another by hovering over the tab and drop it into the new PDF. I could rotate the whole document and drag and drop pages into the document with all the pages oriented in the same direction.
Now... well...
I can rotate the whole document with a keyboard shortcut which is nice, except when I go to edit a page, where the stupid UI re-orients it back to the original orientation WTF?? Dragging and dropping requires me to open the document I want to drag a page from into its own window, window both documents and drag from there. AND THEN IT FLIPS THE PAGE UPSIDE DOWN! I've tried dropping the pages in before I rotate the document AND IT GOES THE OPPOSITE TO EVERYTHING ELSE!!
If I add an Image, it will crash the program unless it is the first thing I do.
I can't believe I'm paying $28 AUD a month for you to muck with my work and make my job harder. Seriously considering cancelling and moving to Edge.
Bring back the old version or I'm gone.

Developer Suggestion - Simplified E-Reader Mode for Adobe Acrobat Reader
Hey team,
I've been considering a potential enhancement for Adobe Acrobat Reader that could significantly improve user experience, especially for those focused on reading without distractions. Here's a suggestion for implementing a simplified E-Reader Mode:
Feature Proposal: Simplified E-Reader Mode Toggle
Objective:
Provide users with a quick and accessible way to switch to a distraction-free reading interface within Adobe Acrobat Reader.Proposal:
Introduce a dedicated button or toggle switch prominently placed in the interface, enabling users to swiftly transition to a simplified E-Reader Mode.Key Features:
Toggle Switch: Implement a visible and easily accessible toggle switch/button in the toolbar or a dedicated section, allowing users to switch between regular and E-Reader Modes.
Minimalist Interface: In the E-Reader Mode, remove non-essential UI elements such as toolbars, menus, side panels, and any distractions that hinder the reading experience.
Customizable Settings: Allow users to personalize their E-Reader Mode by potentially offering options to adjust font size, background color, and other reading preferences within this simplified interface.
Quick Access: Ensure the toggle switch/button is intuitively placed for effortless access, allowing users to seamlessly transition between modes without disrupting their workflow.
Benefits:
Enhanced Reading Experience: Users can focus solely on the content without distractions.
Improved Accessibility: Quick access to a simplified interface caters to various reading preferences.
User Satisfaction: A seamless toggle offers a user-friendly experience, potentially increasing user satisfaction and engagement.
Implementation Considerations:Conduct user testing and feedback sessions to refine the design and functionalities of the E-Reader Mode.
Ensure compatibility across different devices and operating systems for a consistent user experience.
Conclusion:
Introducing a Simplified E-Reader Mode toggle can significantly enhance the usability of Adobe Acrobat Reader for users seeking a distraction-free reading experience. This feature aligns with our commitment to providing versatile and user-centric solutions.Let's discuss the feasibility and implementation details further to bring this enhancement to life.

Adobe Acrobat does not allow connection to:
It is practically impossible to publish a hyperlink in a PDF document with the current security paradigm. Converting a word to PDF results in links getting blocked in a window called Security Block, with the message "Adobe Acrobat does not allow connection to: [website domain]." You limit the reach of and potential of PDF documents by having such an unnecessarily aggressive security posture.

To show ruler by default in Acrobat every time I open a file.
I have it set in preferences but have to hit Ctl R every time to show ruler. And the view/show ruler only shows it for the current file. When closed it disappears again.
I've looked at previous posts and this has not been solved since 2017.2 votes -

New Feature: Open a PDF without all the ********
New Feature: Open a PDF without all the ********. Acrobat is UX trash. The PDF is about 40% of the window, the remaining is upselling or never-used sidebars or GIANT menus sparsely peppered with text. Just have a mode where you open a PDF and it shows the PDF. ZERO bezels. ZERO menus. Just your PDF. That's the 99% workflow anyway, just do it. 100% window utilization. Just do it.

Zooming in Adobe Acrobat inactive window doesn't work
In Windows 10 you have the possibility to scroll inactive windows (Start > Settings > Devices > Mouse > Scroll inactive windows when I hover over them).
You only have to hover over the inactive window with the mouse and you can scroll. It's the same with zooming. When you press CTRL and scroll, it zooms the window under the cursor of the mouse. It works with all other apps, i.e. MS Office, even other Adobe apps like Illustrator, InDesign, etc. but not with Adobe Acrobat. You have to actually click (activate) the window with PDF for that to work. Will it be changed?

Bug: I can't use custom Adobe fonts in text form field in my pdf
I installed a couple of fonts from Adobe Fonts site. Namely Blue Goblet and Typeka. I installed on my computer using Adobe Cloud. However, for some reason I can select Blue Goblet as a font for a text form field (under "Appearance") with no errors, and it shows perfectly on any computer and on other pdf readers as well (Chrome, Edge etc) but when I select Typeka font it gives this error:
"The selected font cannot be embedded in the PDF file because of licensing restrictions. If the PDF file is viewed on a system that does not have this font installed, Adobe Acrobat will simulate the appearance of the font. To preview the simulated font appearance, turn off Edit > Preferences > Page Display > Use Local Fonts."
Both fonts are installed from Adobe and why one works other doesnt? Is there any restriction in some fonts to be used in form fields? As far as I see on Adobe fonts site, they all have license to be embedded.
Is this a bug from Adobe? Even the error message is outdated as there is no "Use Local Fonts" option anymore under "Page Display".
1) I can't use custom Adobe fonts in text form field in my pdf
2) Go to Adobe fonts and install Blue Goblet and Typeka font families. Create a new blank page. Select prepare form. Add a text form field. Select "Blue Goblet" font. Observe no errors. Then add another text form field and select "Typeka" font for it and see the error. Save the file and open in on another computer or pdf reader. First text field will show Blue Goblet font but other will show a system font.
3) Acrobat Pro on Windows 11
4) Both should work as they come from Adobe Fonts

Allow Categories in the Floating Toolbar
I do a lot of re-ordering and re-arranging of PDF documents. In the "Old Acrobat" interface, the green "Organize Pages" button was in a narrow column of easily-accessible buttons on the right side of the screen. I could snap into the Organize Pages view, rearrange my pages, and snap back into editing. In the "New Acrobat" interface, the only way to access this feature is clicking the "All tools" button, which eats up a good chunk of screen space, and click "Organize Pages."
Either give us an icon-only view of the "All tools" bar, as the old Acrobat interface, or give us the ability to add the "Organize pages" button to the toolbar.
Because "Organize pages" is a category rather than a specific tool, it is impossible to add to the floating toolbar. None of the options in the "Organize pages" category take me to the actual Organize pages layout screen for dragging and dropping pages. I have to access this through "All tools" every single time.

"First Steps" tutorial always re-appearing
Tutorial "First Steps" always appears on app start. Even if you close it, the dialog with the "First Steps" tutorial always re-appears. This bug is reproducable with every new installation even on new computers.
