  1. I can print in duplex from my Brother MFC-J835DW printer when printing from every other program I can think of and Adobe on the web, the fact that I cannot from Adobe DC when I pay to use this software? Get with it and join the 21st century, I ESPECIALLY want duplex capability in ADOBE as most large files and forms that require printing are typically shared as pdf files and I certainly don't want to be wasteful or kill excess trees, but it would certainly appear this isn't a concern of Adobe, noted guess it is time to look…

  3. In Acrobat Pro DC, would love an easy way to set the PDF page dimensions. Sometimes need to crop a page smaller and sometimes need to make larger and add white border. I'm told there might be an option for this within PreFlight, but that is hard to find and didn't seem to work at all when I tried it. (In general, the UI within PreFlight seems difficult and different.) Thanks.

  4. When measuring areas, I often display results in square feet. If I need acres, I have to change the display option to acres. I need both units displayed, so going back and forth is a bit tedious plus I have no on screen documentation of both results unless I add one of the results to a post comment. An option to select a 2nd user specified unit would be a great help. A typical result could be "9781.61 sq. ft. = 0.224 ac." (A conversion to metric would also be useful.) Three significant figures is customary in math circles.
    Thanks...

  6. It would really help to have standard Meta Data database such as a vendor name list that can be used when saving files. Especially if the metadata can be used in the file path, and create folders if they do not exist. For example if Vendor ABC is added to the file path and the program does not find him in the invoices folder, it creates the folder and saves the file under that new vendor. If the vendor exists, then it just adds the file. You need a standard database of vendors for that to work. An entity data…

  7. Hello,

Our company recently moved to SharePoint and we have our libraries synced to our Adobe Acrobat app. My process beforehand was typically to open the PPT I wanted to convert to PDF, and select print to pdf. This would allow me to select slides per page and other such features.

Now my process is to navigate to the PPT i wish to convert, click on it, and select "Create PDF." (image1) This defaults to 1 page per slide and does not allow any such customization. Clicking on "Advanced Settings" doesn't include print options. (image2)

    Clicking "Create", creates the PDF…

  12. Lately adobe has begun integrating features of acrobat pro into reader... The buttons do not work they are just a ploy to get you online and contemplating upgrading to acrobat pro.

I have no problem with this... its a little sleazy... but whatever it's free!

My problem is that once you pay for pro... or pay 800 per year for creative cloud... those Calls to Action remain and serve as useless click bate to a product which i have already paid for.

Note i use Acrobat Pro 20x per day and need reader to review documents. I actually like the…

  14. In Acrobat Pro DC on Mac, when editing a PDF, after using "Add image" you can no longer edit other elements of the document. Workaround: if you save the file, you can then properly edit again. But this seems like a bug.

  15. When I try to save a document in Acrobat I'm met with this dreadful and completely pointless dialogue box when all I need is the usual finder-based box where I can select which location to save the file.

  16. Recently a change was made that significantly reduces the ease of use for the Add Text Comment tool. The problem is that the cursor inside the add text area is now 2-3 times the the height of the text you are adding. Previously the text box and cursor were the same height as the font size that was selected.

  17. The present adobe reader is not entirely touch friendly. The buttons file, edit, view etc are still difficult to get in touch mode. An optional touch mode with better spacing and larger icons would be a better idea just like in Microsoft Office

  19. It would be ideal if you could download an Adobe Acrobat Pro App for the iPad Air or Pro. Especially with the use of Apple's magic Pen, I can just envision how easy it would be to edit, comment, mark up, or sign documents if this integration came to life. I personally work with a lot of PDF documents sent from design firms (i.e. furniture layouts, spec sheets, etc). I would love to have the ability to create block plan layouts, sketch and doodle or add notes to a construction/furniture layout on the iPad air (with the magic pen) through…

  20. I create documents for court that have many pages and require many bookmarks. There should be a way to auto create the page destination for each bookmark.

I use javascript to create the bookmark and to create the page destination. However, that inserts one line of javascript in set action such as "this.pageNum = 12" which works fine.

However the NYS courts now will not permit a document to be uploaded with even one line of javascript.

I do not know about the other states, but NY has this rule.

An automatic was, maybe with javascript, would be a big…
