**** annoying pop ups
Stop with the unsolicited 'try this' pop ups. You aren't google or a CNN website. I don't pay an appalling amount of money to use your service for incessant popup windows

Stop Comment Box from auto-opening
Adobe needs to stop opening comment pop up box once a PDF is opened. This occurs when I PDF after an AutoCAD drawing. I do not have administrative rights to download a patch or re-download the software. I just need the option to turn off in the Preferences dialogue box.

Bug - "Send File..." Prompts for email app selection every time, no 'Remember' checkbox
Adobe Acrobat 2020 when selecting "Send File..." displays a prompt "Send by email" with a prompt to select either the Default email client or Webmail. Every...time...
Adobe Reader 2020 when selecting "Send File..." displays a dialogue the initial time with an option to "Remember my choice" to select Default email application or Webmail. If the application and
"Remember..." option is selected this dialogue does not display again and future PDF emailing drops directly in to Outlook. The paid Acrobat software needs to behave like the free Reader by not having an errant pointlessly repetitive prompt every single time to attach a PDF to an email requiring selection of the same email client.

Stop charging for basic features
Please stop charging for basic features like being able to edit a PDF. If I make a PDF and add text to it, I should be able to do as I wish with it. It shouldn't be fixed in place and require a subscription just to change it.
Same goes for being able to rotate a page. Features such as these shouldn't be hidden behind a pay wall.

Is there a way to revert back to acrobat 11. This DC is clunky and slow.
I use ctrl = scroll wheel to scroll and space bar to pan. when i am finished i would like a shortcut...(like ctrl+shft=W) to leave the pdf at the whole page view. I need to be able to review large design plans, markup, and navigate quickly. I can't do this anymore. It use to be so clean and precise. Now its bloated and balooning like a cartoon, and does not seem to function well. If anyone has any secret tips to navigate large pdfs lightning quick while making edits, please let me know.

Getting "Exception in line 1 of function top_level, script App:Init" in every folder-level javascript
No matter how minimal of a folder-level script that I create (even with comments only), I am seeing "Exception in line 1 of function top_level, script App:Init" in the debugger console. If I remove all user scripts leaving only debugger.js, the message goes away.
I have tried to catch the exception and the error never actually throws into the "catch()".

BUG: Acrobat DC misreported Invalid Signature
I have encountered several cases of PDF documents in the past few years. When I signed the first signature, Acrobat DC verified the signature correctly, but when I added the second signature (even though the second signature was signed with Acrobat DC) , Acrobat DC will report that the previous signature is invalid, but I didn’t actually make any changes. Other PDF software (Acrobat 9.0 Pro/iText/Foxit) can verify these signatures correctly. I don't understand what causes the Acrobat DC verification to fail?
In addition, I also encountered a "1 miscellaneous change(s)" problem in Case1.pdf
Use the latest Windows 10 and Acrobat Pro DC v2021.007.20091 to reproduce this problem, and Acrobat Reader DC can also reproduce the problem.

Straight line highlighting
Please allow the user to draw a straight line with the highlight tool. Trying to track a straight line through text with the mouse is nearly impossible. It blows my mind that this feature is not available in a PDF reader that costs $180 per year

Printing preferences reset to Letter after Acrobat updates
The default printing preferences are Letter even though my Windows regional settings are not US. Should be A4.
I change the default from Windows Settings>Devices>Printers & scanners>Adobe PDF>Manage>Printing preferences>Adobe PDF Page Size but it resets every time Acrobat updates!
Please fix both these issues.

Outlook "Attach File via Link" vs. Sharing for commenting
Hi, when I use the Acrobat plugin for Outlook, I had expected that I could track comments, but I cannot. This is not explicit.
I would like more options for shared review of PDFs directly in Outlook, as this means I would not have to send follow up emails (for internal tracking this is required in our organization).

Provide all installs via flat pkg's and stop using DMG's within the install process, specifically within CCDA
Please stop using DMG's directly or indirectly within the install process. This is particularly important in CCDA where DMG's are used and we have no ability to amend this workflow.

Acrobat Pro Bug - Target Folder error message when Splitting by Bookmark
Acrobat Pro DC Bug (version 21.007 using Windows 10)
This is a new bug, so suggests it relates to a recent update.
When Splitting a PDF file via Top Level Bookmark.
You receive the following error message (see screenshot)."The file may be read-only, or another user may have it open. Please save the document with a different file name or in a different folder".
Trying either of the above suggestions will not work and you continue to receive the same error message when attempting to split the file.
The only way to get around this, is to manually select 'A Folder on My Computer' under the splitter Output Options menu. You can actually select the same folder which the original file is in and it works fine, which is odd as this is the same end result as the default selection (The Same Folder Selected at Start) which prompts the error message.
The error message appears with all my PDF files and colleagues, both desktop and server based. As mentioned it use to work fine so possible recent Acrobat Pro update bug.

customize menu
The uselessness of the chopped up methodology to customize the quick menu is ridiculous. It would be much simpler if you adopted a process similar to that in Excel. Just where the h3ll is the zoom icon hiding.
